Motion furniture mechanism with pre-aligned linkage member
A motion furniture side mechanism includes a side plate and a pivotable swing arm pre-aligned with the side plate for insertion of a driver tube using an automated or manual assembly operation. The swing arm includes a pivotable driver arm, and a driver tube socket is defined on the driver arm. One or more bushings disposed between the side plate and the swing arm or driver arm provides a mechanical retainer to prevent the swing arm or driver arm from becoming inadvertently angularly misaligned prior to assembly. The pre-aligned side mechanism allows automated insertion of a driver tube without the need to identify a misaligned linkage or re-align a linkage prior to driver tube insertion. A method of assembly furniture includes providing a side mechanism with a pre-aligned linkage member such as a swing arm or driver arm positioned for driver tube insertion.
Drive mechanism
A drive mechanism for an article of adjustable furniture, the drive mechanism having support sections, the support sections including a first support section and a second support section, an actuator mechanism, and at least one connecting mechanism, the at least one connecting mechanism includes a first arm pivotally connected to the first support section, and a second arm pivotally connected to the second support section, the first arm being pivotally connected to the second arm, in which the actuator mechanism is drivingly connected to the second support section to effect concertina-like movement between the first arm and the second arm to move the second support section relative to the first support section.
Footrest extension device, frame and chair having the same
A footrest extension device for a chair includes eight connecting rods: a first connecting rod is connected to a main frame, and pivotally connected to a second connecting rod and a third connecting rod, respectively; the second connecting rod is connected to the main frame, and pivotally connected to a fourth connecting rod; the third connecting rod is pivotally connected to the fourth connecting rod, a sixth connecting rod and a eighth connecting rod, respectively; a fifth connecting rod is pivotally connected to the fourth connecting rod and the sixth connecting rod, respectively; the sixth connecting rod is pivotally connected to a seventh connecting rod; the seventh connecting rod is pivotally connected to the eighth connecting rod; and the second connecting rod, driven by a driving device, drives the other connecting rods to move, so the footrest extension device is folded or extended.
Stretching device for leisure chair
A stretching device for a leisure chair includes a base. Stretching assemblies are symmetrically and pivotally connected to two sides of the base. The stretching assembly includes a seat plate mechanism. The front part of the seat plate mechanism is pivotally connected to a leg mechanism. The rear part of the seat plate mechanism is pivotally connected to a backrest mechanism. A drive mechanism is provided between the stretching assemblies. The drive mechanism includes a front drive rod and a rear drive rod. The front drive rod and the rear drive rod drive the stretching assemblies to unfold or fold by a reciprocating motion device. Two ends of the front drive rod are fixedly connected to the leg mechanism. Two ends of the rear drive rod are pivotally connected to a first drive member. The middle part of the first drive member is pivotally connected to a second drive member.
DRIVE MECHANISM
A drive mechanism for an article of adjustable furniture, the drive mechanism having support sections, the support sections including a first support section and a second support section, an actuator mechanism, and at least one connecting mechanism, the at least one connecting mechanism includes a first arm pivotally connected to the first support section, and a second arm pivotally connected to the second support section, the first arm being pivotally connected to the second arm, in which the actuator mechanism is drivingly connected to the o second support section to effect concertina-like movement between the first arm and the second arm to move the second support section relative to the first support section.
Recliner or lift and recliner chair with variable lift profile
A recliner or lift and recliner chair is provided having a recline or lift and recline chair mechanism with preferably with at least one recline or lift-recline actuator that controls a reclining movement or a lifting and reclining movement. The chair mechanism has a recline or lift-recline base, a seat and a back connected thereto. For additional functionality, a cradle assembly is provided in order to provide a cradling movement to the recline or lift-recline base. The cradle assembly includes pivot connections between recline or lift-recline base and the cradle base. A cradle actuator is connected between the cradle base and the recline or lift-recline base. A controller is provided that controls movement of the cradle actuator and preferably at least one recline or lift-recline actuator.
Mechanical stretching device for movable seat unit and seat unit
The present disclosure relates to a mechanical stretching device for a movable seat unit, and a movable seat unit thereof. The mechanical stretching device includes: a linkage support that comprises a support structure configured to support the mechanical stretching device on ground and a linkage structure attachable to a seating portion of the seat unit; a back mechanism that is pivotally connected to the linkage support and is configured to attach to a backrest of the seat unit; and a leg stretching structure including a footrest element, and the leg stretching structure is pivotally connected to the linkage support, and the footrest element is attached to a footrest of the seat unit. The mechanical stretching device is configured to implement a sequential conversion or a reverse sequential conversion of the seat unit from a sitting state to a relaxing state and to a lying state.
Recliner seating mechanism with seat extension
A mechanism is provided for a seating unit that moves the seating unit between closed, TV, and fully reclined positions. The mechanism allows independent movement of a seat frame, relative to the chair arms and chair back to which the mechanism is mounted. The mechanism thus allows the seat depth of the chair to be adjusted relative to the chair back to accommodate the individual characteristics of the chair occupant.
SEATING FURNITURE CHASSIS
A seating furniture chassis comprises a seat surface frame, a leg rest chassis, first and second struts, and a retractable and extendable leg rest extension. The leg rest chassis is pivotably arranged on the seat surface frame and pivotable from a folded-out position into a folded-in position. The first strut includes a first elongated hole and a first guide element. The second strut includes a second elongated hole and a second guide element, wherein the second guide element is arranged displaceably in the first elongated hole, and the first guide element is arranged displaceably in the second elongated hole. The leg rest extension is arranged on the leg rest chassis and connected thereto by the first and second struts.
