Mailbox delivery notification system
The mailbox delivery notification system is configured for use with a mailbox and a personal data device. The mailbox delivery notification system monitors the mailbox. The mailbox delivery notification system transmits a message to the personal data device when the mailbox delivery notification system detects that the mailbox door has been opened to deliver the mail. The mailbox delivery notification system comprises a housing, a reed switch, and a control circuit. The housing contains the control circuit and a portion of the reed switch. The reed switch electrically connects to the control circuit. The reed switch generates an electric signal indicating that the mailbox door is open. The control circuit monitors the reed switch. The control circuit transmits a message to the personal data device when the control circuit detects the electric signal indicating that the mailbox door is open.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR MAILBOX SECURITY
The system and apparatus of the disclosure includes a receptacle, referred to herein as a mailbox, and a camera system for detecting and recording movement in and about the receptacle. Detected movement can include the activities of persons depositing or retrieving items from the mailbox, both authorized and unauthorized. Recorded information can include audio and video, and recorded information can be record in discrete clips or continuous streaming with time/date stamping. The camera system can additionally report activity to a remote device, such as computer, server system or a mobile device, including a cell phone, for review. Reporting can be in real time, or stored in a memory device for later review.
SECURING, ANALYZING, AND TRANSMITTING NOTIFICATION AND DELIVERY OF MAIL, MAIL RECEIPT, AND MAILBOX TAMPERING
A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, a system for monitoring a mailbox is provided. The system may include a mailbox device including at least one sensor, such as a video camera, for detecting movement, and a mailbox communication interface configured to communicate information including sensor information generated by the at least one sensor. The system may further include a premises device including a premises communication interface configured to receive the sensor information from the mailbox device and processing circuitry configured to determine whether a mailbox event has occurred and trigger at least one alert if a mailbox event occurred. The system may further provide notification of the event to an authorized entity via mobile device, voice assistant, etc. An access control unit may be used to limit access to the mailbox to authorized individuals.
MAILBOX
A mailbox comprises an outer shell and an inner shell mounted within a hollow interior of the outer shell, the inner shell defining a hollow interior for receiving mail contents and further defining one or more voids with the outer shell. A door is mounted of a movement to selectively open or close one end of the outer and inner shells. A camera is concealed in one void adjacent the front end, the camera being configured to capture an image in front of the mailbox when the door is moved to at least partially expose the hollow interior for receiving mail contents. A transmitter and a receiver are mounted adjacent the front end to generate an output signal when the mail contents break the light beam therebetween. A flag rotates on the outer shell and actuates a switch to annunciate a presence of the mail contents within the mailbox.
HOME WALL INSERT MAILBOX WITH CONVENIENT BOX HANDLING FEATURES
The present invention teaches a residential wall penetrating mailbox with enhanced box handling capability, openable by barcode scanning, and openable from either inside or outside a home. A body which is generally column shaped has front and rear doors which open at the top and hinge near the bottom and which have interleaved fingers or members extending from the bottom ends into the interior space of the mailbox. A box tray sits on the interleaved fingers. When either door is opened the fingers of that door lift the box tray upward and out of the box on that side. Thus, a delivery person may access a box from outside the home, while the homeowner may do the same without leaving the safety of the home interior. In addition, an elastic cord and carefully slanted slots on side panels of the front door allow easy retention of a box even further up the front door.
Portable secure mailbox system
A portable secure mailbox system providing a mail container unit having a container-unit protrusion, a container-unit door, and a container-unit partition, a base anchor unit allowing filling with anchoring material such as water or sand, and having a base-unit recess, base-unit wheels, a base-unit removable plug, and a base-unit foot, at least one bolt and nut to secure the mail container unit to the base anchor unit, a powered sensor-transmitter unit to detect activity and transmit notifications, an optional solar array to recharge the powered sensor-transmitter unit, and an optional ornamental casing. The portable secure mailbox system provides a mailbox and support base that can be easily transported and put in place, when empty, and, after the base anchor unit is filled with anchoring material such as water or sand, and the mail container unit is mounted upon the base anchor unit, provides a stable secure mailbox that can detect activity and transmit notifications. The portable secure mailbox system also provides a mailbox and support base that yield somewhat if struck by a vehicle, such that the mailbox remains functional and damage to the vehicle and driver is reduced.
Curbside mailbox with convenient box handling features
The present invention teaches a residential curbside mailbox with enhanced box handling capability, openable by barcode scanning, and with interchangeable bonnets. Thus a delivery person may access a box without leaving a delivery vehicle, while the homeowner may do the same without leaving the safety of the yard. In addition, an elastic cord and carefully slanted slots on side panels of the front door allow easy retention of a box even further up the front door.
Mailbox notification system and method of use
A mailbox notification system includes a radio frequency transmitter attached to a mailbox configured to transmit a signal upon detection of motion by a motion sensor, the motion sensor in electronic communication with the transmitter and configured to detect motion of a mailbox door, and a radio frequency receiver in electronic communication with the transmitter via a radio frequency wherein the receiver is configured to alert a user upon receiving a transmission from the transmitter.

Postal delivery notification system
The postal delivery notification system is an instrument that is configured for use with a mailbox. The postal delivery notification system is a sensor that monitors the contents of the mailbox. Specifically, the postal delivery notification system comprises a control system and a sensor. The sensor detects when a parcel is placed into or removed from the mailbox. The sensor is attached to the control system such that the control system receives a signal from the sensor that indicates that the parcel has been placed into or removed from the mailbox. The control system responds to the receipt of the signal by sending a first message to an appropriate authority indicating the introduction or removal of the parcel from the mailbox.
