Protected Unmanned Vehicle Delivery Receptacle
A system for the delivery and secure receipt of packages from unmanned vehicles to improve security and protection of the packages upon delivery. A UAV receptacle provides a water-protected interior to protect a package. The UAV receptacle includes a door in one side that allows a reception tray to extend out and back in, and which locks to protect the package so received. The UAV receptacle detects a drone in proximity. Upon confirming that delivery is for the UAV receptacle, the reception tray extends to a reception position. A sensor detects the package on the reception tray upon delivery from the drone. The reception tray is of a mesh material to reduce water retention. The UAV receptacle retracts the reception tray and closes a door to seal the package within the UAV receptacle. The UAV receptacle may notify user devices that the package has been received.
Connected logistics receptacle apparatus, systems, and methods having enhanced status indication functionality related to a logistics operation for a delivery item being deposited by a parcel customer
A connected logistics receptacle system having enhanced status indication functionality related to a logistics operation for a delivery item being deposited by a parcel customer. The system includes a storage receptacle for receiving the delivery item and a bridge node mounted to the storage receptacle. The bridge node has a bridge node processor and a communication interface operative to communicate with at least a backend server. The system includes a status indicator and a wireless accessory sensor node. The bridge node processor is operative to detect an updated advertising signal broadcast by the wireless accessory sensor node, retrieve event information from the wireless accessory sensor node in response to detecting the updated advertising signal, and toggle the status indicator from a first condition to a second condition based upon a comparison of the event information to a status indicator setting profile.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for self-tuning operation of a node-based logistics receptacle based upon contextual awareness
A system for self-tuning operation of a node-based logistics receptacle based upon contextual awareness. The node-based logistics receptacle has a plurality of storage receptacle components and a temporary storage area. A retrieval door provides selective access to a delivery item. The system includes a wireless accessory sensor node, a bridge node that includes a bridge node processor, a bridge node memory, and a communication interface operative to communicate with at least a backend server, and an external sensor. The bridge node is operative to receive external sensor data, predict a change in future interactions with the one or more of storage receptacle components based upon the external sensor data, update a management profile based upon the predicted change in future interactions, and alter, using the updated management profile, an operational task related to monitoring for and reporting a change in state of the one or more storage receptacle components.
MAILBOX WITH WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FUNCTION
The present invention provides a mailbox with a wireless communication function, used to perform a wireless connection with an electronic apparatus, and including: a mailbox, having a delivery slot and a letter-getting door; and a control module, used to control a wireless module and a locking module, where the control module detects the electronic apparatus by using the wireless module to perform the wireless connection, and the locking module is disposed on the letter-getting door and is used to lock the letter-getting door, where when the control module determines that a received signal strength indicator of the wireless connection is greater than a signal strength default value, the control module releases locking of the locking module to open the letter-getting door.
Smart postal mailbox device
A smart postal mailbox device is disclosed that incorporates a camera and an imaging processing capability. When the device is in place inside a postal mailbox and is activated by a content element being placed in, or removed from, the mailbox, the camera obtains an image of the interior of the mailbox, which it then analyzes by first using pre-processing to correct for geometric distortion. The image is then decomposed using vision related algorithms into a discreet information dataset. This discrete data set is compared to previous data sets using a neural decision tree. If appropriate, the device transmits a message informing a remote user of the current state of the mailbox.
Automated mailbox
Methods, systems, and apparatus for an automated mailbox system. The automated mailbox system includes a personal device configured to manage a robot. The robot includes a base that forms a foundation for the robot and is coupled to a post. The robot includes a mailbox having a door. The mailbox is configured to receive documents when in the open position. The robot includes a transportation component that moves the robot in multiple directions among multiple locations. The transportation component is configured to move the robot in a first direction to a first location.
Secure mailbox and a mailbox application in a connected user device
In an embodiment, a smart mailbox includes a main body, a sensor module, a camera module, a transmission module and a biometric sensor module. The main body includes an enclosed space for storing mails and an opening for inserting mails into the enclosed space. The sensor module is configured to detect presence of one or more mails in the enclosed space. The camera module is configured to capture one or more images of at least a part of the one or more mails. The transmission module is configured to send a notification of presence of the one or more mails and the one or more images to a user device associated with a user. The biometric sensor module is disposed on the main body and is configured to authenticate identity of the user accessing the mailbox to retrieve the one or more mails from the enclosed space of the mailbox.
Mail notification system
A mail notification system includes an alert unit that is positioned in a mailbox thereby facilitating the alert unit to sense when mail is placed in the mailbox. The alert unit transmits a first alert signal when the mail is placed in the mailbox. A display unit is provided and the display unit is in electrical communication with the alert unit. The display unit transmits a second alert signal when the display unit receives the first alert signal. An electronic device is provided and the electronic device is in wireless electrical communication with the display unit. The electronic device generates an alert when the display unit transmits the second alert signal. In this way the electronic device notifies the user of the mail in the mailbox.
Mailbox with detection means
A mailbox has detection means inside the mailbox to detect the presence of mail and a warning device that is operatively connected to the detection means to inform a user of the presence of mail in the mailbox.
