BEVERAGE BREWING DEVICE, BREWING METHOD, TUBULAR CONTAINER, AND CIRCUIT SYSTEM OF BEVERAGE BREWING DEVICE
A beverage brewing device, a brewing method, a tubular container, and a circuit system of the beverage brewing device are provided. The circuit system includes a microprocessor and a plurality of circuit components. The brewing method includes scanning an identification tag on the tubular container to obtain brewing parameters and controlling a water inputting module, a temperature adjusting module, a water outputting module and an air adding module. The water inputting module controls a volume and a flowrate of water supplied to the tubular container, the temperature adjusting module controls temperature and temperature controlling sequence of water supplied to the tubular container, the water outputting module determines an amount of time and the flowrate of water outputted from the tubular container according to the operating parameters, and the air adding module determines whether or not to add air or an amount of air to add into the water.

A machine (1) for dispensing a beverage (84) from a capsule (2) has: an external housing (10, 30, 30, 40, 50, 60) having an external front face (10), two external spaced-apart lateral side faces (30,30) that extend rearwards behind the external front face (10) and that face each other; a beverage outlet (11) located on the external front face (10) and above a front area (20) for placing a user-receptacle (3,4) for collecting beverage (84) from the outlet (11); and a capsule handling device (70) that has a first part (71) and a second part (72) that are relatively movable between a capsule transfer position and a capsule extraction position. At least one part (72) of the first and second parts (71,72) is arranged to translate towards and away from at least one of the two external lateral side faces (30,30) so that the first and second parts (71,72) relatively move between the transfer and the extraction positions.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION CAPSULE
A beverage preparation capsule including front and back sheets that are bonded together along a top edge, first and second side edges, and a bottom edge. A region of bonding along the bottom edge may be releasable to allow escape of beverage from the capsule during beverage preparation. There may be a transverse seal that is interrupted by a gap that provides fluid communication between a beverage ingredient chamber located above said gap and a beverage outlet chamber located below said gap. A folded filter strip extending across the capsule includes a fold extending transversely below said transverse seal and front and back side panels extending upwardly through said transverse seal that are bonded to the front and back sheets of the capsule, respectively. The front and back side panels may not extend more than about 10 mm into said beverage ingredient chamber above said transverse seal.
BEVERAGE MACHINE WITH A CONTROLLED CAPSULE PIERCING
A machine (1) is configured for preparing a beverage from an ingredient supplied within a capsule (100) that is provided with an outlet membrane (101). The machine (1) has an extraction unit (2) that has a capsule extraction seat (20), an inlet arrangement (21) for guiding water into the seat (20) and a dispensing arrangement (22) for guiding beverage out of the seat (20). The dispensing arrangement (22) has a face (220) delimiting a downstream part of the seat (20), the face (220) bearing one or more raised elements (225) that project upstream and that are configured for forming one or more beverage outlet openings in the outlet membrane (101) of the capsule (100) in the seat (20). The raised element(s) (225) are fixed relative to and/or integral with the face (220) and comprising at least one controllable raised element (225a). The face (220) is associated with an opening control arrangement (23) configured to control the formation of the outlet opening(s) in the outlet membrane (101) by the controllable raised element (225a). The opening control arrangement (23) has at least one neutralizing member (23a) that is movable adjacent the controllable raised element (225a) between an operative position in which the controllable raised element (225a) is prevented from forming a beverage outlet opening in the outlet membrane (101) and a rest position in which the controllable raised element (225a) is enabled to form a beverage outlet opening in the outlet membrane (101).
BEVERAGE MACHINE WITH A PARTLY CLOSED DISPENSING FACE
A machine (1) for preparing a beverage from an ingredient includes an extraction unit (2) that has: an ingredient extraction seat (20); an inlet arrangement (21) for guiding water into the seat (20); and a dispensing arrangement (22) for guiding beverage out of the seat (20). The dispensing arrangement (22) has a face (220) delimiting a downstream part of the seat (20) and having a flow-through portion (221) configured such that beverage flowing out the seat (20) flows through the flow-through portion (221) towards a beverage dispensing area (1). The face (220) has a flow-inhibiting portion (222, 222a, 222b, 222c) that is at least substantially flush with the flow-through portion (221) so as to delimit the seat (20). The flow-inhibiting portion (222, 222a, 222b, 222c) is configured such that beverage flowing out the seat (20) is inhibited, e.g. prevented, from passing through the flow-inhibiting portion (222, 222a, 222b, 222c).
Beverage Maker Heated Fluid Feedback Control System
A system and method. The system may include a beverage machine including a pump, heater, a sensor, and a processor. The pump may be configured to pump fluid including gas or liquid. The heater may be configured to heat the fluid. The sensor may be implemented downstream of the pump and the heater. The sensor may be configured to sense a pressure, a flow rate, a steam quality, or a temperature of the heated fluid and to output sensor data including information of the pressure, the flow rate, the steam quality, or the temperature of the heated fluid. The processor may be communicatively coupled to the heater, the pump, and the sensor. The processor may be configured to: receive the sensor data; control operation of the pump or the heater; and based on the sensor data, adjust an operational parameter of the pump or the heater.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BEVERAGES BY MEANS OF SINGLE SERVING CAPSULES
The machine (10) comprises a brewing chamber (23) adapted to receive a capsule (1) and a duct (33) for supplying water to the brewing chamber (23), as well as a duct (51) for dispensing beverage from the brewing chamber (23). The machine (10) further comprises a rotation device (3) adapted to rotate the capsule (10).
BEVERAGE EXTRACTION UNIT WITH MOVABLE OUTFLOW OBSTRUCTOR
The invention relates to a beverage extraction unit (1) for extracting a beverage from an exchangeable single-serve portioned capsule (2) containing beverage ingredients and being configured with a flow restricting member for extracting capsules at different beverage pressure and flow conditions. The invention also relates to the beverage machine comprising the extraction unit.
USED CAPSULE RECEPTACLE FOR BEVERAGE MACHINES
A capsule beverage machine (1) has: a passage (2) for evacuating used capsules (100): a capsule collector (10) having a bottom (11) and sidewalls (12,12) delimiting a cavity (13) with a cavity entry opening (14) and a cavity volume for storing the used capsules (100); and a seat (20) into which the evacuation passage (2) leads, the collector (10) having a collection position in which the collector (10) is removably located in the seat (20) for collecting capsules (100) delivered via the passage (2) and the entry opening (14). The seat (20) and the collector (10) are configured to adjust the cavity volume of the cavity (13) so that the cavity volume is smaller when the collector (10) is located in the seat and larger at removal of the collector (10) from the seat. The sidewalls (12,12) include at least one sidewall (12) that is movably mounted in the collector (10). The seat (20) and/or the movable sidewall (12) has an interacting seat member (21). The member (21) protrudes from the movable sidewall (12) towards a side (22) of the seat (20) or from the side (22) of the seat (20) towards the movable sidewall (12). When the collector (10) is in its collection position, the member (21) is urged against the side (22) of the seat (20) or against the movable sidewall (12), whereby the movable sidewall (12) is displaced towards an inside (10) of the cavity (13). The movable sidewall (12) is allowed to move towards an outside (20) of the cavity (13) when the movable sidewall (12) is withdrawn from the seat (20).
Combination Coffee Maker and Hot Jug
An on demand instant hot, dual dispensing, coffee maker features a bottom filled water reservoir tank. The coffee maker draws water from the reservoir tank and pumps it through a series of solenoid valves directing it to an on-demand instant water heater. The water is heated and pressurized to approximately 3 bar (approximately 43.5 psi). The pressurized hot water passes through the coffee capsule and then immediately dispenses into a user's cup.
