BREWING MODULE AND DRINKS PREPARATION MACHINE
A brewing module for preparing a brewed drink from a portion capsule includes a first brewing module part and a second brewing module part which is movable relative to this between a first brewing module part position and a second brewing module part position. An operating element is further present, the operating element being able to be brought manually from a first into a second operating element position. The brewing module has an energy store which is configured, by way of moving the operating element from the first into the second position, to intermediately store energy which is coupled into the brewing module and, activated by a release, to convert it again into a movement from the first brewing module part position into the second brewing module part position.
BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTION DISPOSITION, SYSTEM WITH SAID DISPOSITION AND PROCESS OF OPERATION OF SAID SYSTEM
The present invention discloses a beverage distribution disposition (1), in particular of aromatic beverages such as espresso coffee and similar, from brewing a respective edible substance, whereby said disposition (1) comprises a portion collection disposition (5), adapted for collecting an individual portion of edible substance, and a beverage discharge (4), and is advantageously configured so that can be handheld and manually actuated while transported.
The present invention further discloses a beverage distribution system, in particular a system provided with energy autonomy so that can be transported and operated simultaneously, presenting fluid supply means (11) provided in fluid connection upstream of said beverage distribution disposition (1).
The present invention further discloses a process of distribution of beverages by means of said beverage distribution system.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION APPARATUS OF SIMPLIFIED ACTUATION AND PROCESS OF OPERATION OF SAID APPARATUS
The present invention discloses an apparatus (1) for preparing beverages, in particular aromatic beverages such as espresso coffee and similar, from the brewing of a single portion (2) of a respective edible substance, whereby said apparatus (1) comprises a portion collection disposition (3) adapted for collecting said single portion (2) of edible substance and a beverage discharge (5), and is advantageously configured so as to simplify the actuation of respective portion collection disposition (3), and to be operated in portable manner, for example in the form of a compact apparatus, recipient, or transported, for example in the form of backpack, or trolley, along a given distance autonomously relative to external energy sources.
The present invention further discloses a process for distribution of beverages by means of a beverage preparation apparatus.
Consumable recognition system, set of consumables and beverage dispenser
The present invention relates to a consumable recognition system for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable containing a food substance for the preparation of a beverage by use of a beverage dispenser. To enable the recognition of placement and/or type of consumable in a simple, foolproof and easily implementable way an embodiment of the system comprises a light source (31, 301, 311, 321, 331, 341) for emitting light (35) to the consumable (4a, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90), a light sensor (32 302, 312, 322, 332, 342) for sensing light (36) reflected from a reflection element (42, 52, 63, 73, 83, 93) of the consumable to obtain a sensor signal, wherein the sensor signal depends on the position, orientation, fluorescence, phosphorescence and/or polarization characteristic of said reflection element, and a signal processor (33) for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable based on said sensor signal.
Brewing device for producing a beverage
A brewing device for producing a beverage from two differently sized capsules; the brewing device comprising two parts opposite and mutually movable between an open or loading position of a capsule and a closing or brewing position, one of the two parts defined by a cup-shaped body formed by a first portion and by a second portion defining between them a seat designed to receive the capsule during a movement of the cup-shaped body towards the closing position; the second portion designed to slide with respect to the first portion between a smaller seat position and a larger seat position due to the interaction with the larger capsule during the movement of the cup-shaped body towards the closing position; and a blocking device provided to define, in the closing position, a constraint to keep the second portion still only when the second portion is in the normal smaller seat position.
A BREWING MODULE AND DRINKS PREPARATION MACHINE
A brewing module for preparing a brewed drink from a portion capsule, includes a first brewing module part and a second brewing module part, which is movable relative to a housing between a first brewing module part position and a second brewing module part position. An operating element is able to be brought manually from a first into a second operating element position, from which a movement is transmitted via a transmission mechanism into a movement of the second brewing module part. The transmission mechanism includes a cam disc that is rotatably mounted on the housing by the operating element wherein the second brewing module part is displaceable along a displacement stretch, which is fixed with respect to the housing, from a first brewing module part position into the second brewing module part position by way of the cam disc being rotated by the operating element.
Brewing module, capsule recognition module, and beverage preparation machine
A capsule recognition module for a brewing module for preparing a brewed beverage from a single serve capsule includes: an optical sensor for sensing optical properties of the capsule that is located in a capsule recognition position, a capsule recognition window that is made of a transparent material and is located between the capsule recognition position and the camera, and a fan for generating an air flow from the capsule recognition window towards the capsule recognition position.
IN-LINE FLAVOR DISPENSER
A device to provide in-line flavor for water or other liquid stored in a container. An example device includes a body having a cylindrical shape chamber formed therein, and an opening on a first end of the body. A cartridge holder fits within the chamber of the body and retains a flavoring therein for the water or other liquid. The cartridge holder has a plurality of openings for the water or other liquid to flow through. When a user drinks from the drinking end, the water or other liquid flows from the container and through the housing and mixes with a flavoring from the cartridge holder before being drawn through to the drinking end so that the user drinks a flavored water or other liquid.
Brewing unit with a capsule handling mechanism
A brewing unit includes two brewing chamber portions movable with respect to each other, and a guide for guiding a capsule from an insertion aperture to a brewing position. The guide includes guiding channels configured to engage a flange of the capsule and a respective retention member arranged on each guiding channel for retaining the capsule in the brewing position before and during closing the brewing chamber portions, and to disengage the capsule when the brewing chamber portions are moved apart after completion of a brewing cycle. A control member is configured to space apart the retention members upon completion of the brewing cycle, so that a spent capsule is released from the guiding channels when the brewing chamber portions are moved towards an open position. The control member is configured to prevent spacing apart of the retention members when the brewing chamber portions are moved towards a closed position.

Kit for the preparation of a beverage in a centrifugal brewing device comprising a capsule by feeding liquid in the capsule and rotating the capsule along a central axis to produce centrifugal forces on the liquid traversing the capsule thereby forcing the beverage out of the capsule by such centrifugal forces, wherein the capsule comprises containment walls forming a main cavity of central axis containing beverage ingredients; wherein said kit further comprising an insert which is separ-ate from the capsule and comprising a ring-shaped portion intended to form a valve engaging portion engaging against a valve means of the centrifugal brewing device.
