Spring mechanism for fluid dispenser
A fluid dispenser with a housing, a cover, a cover actuator member, and a biasing mechanism. The cover is movable relative to the housing between a first location and a second location, and the cover actuator member is movable relative to the housing between a first orientation and a second orientation. The cover actuator member engages with the cover to effect movement of the cover from the first location to the second location. The cover actuator member comprises an engagement member that travels in a travel path between a first position and a second position as the cover actuator member moves between the first orientation and the second orientation. The biasing mechanism engages with the engagement member and biases the engagement member towards the first position.
Fluid dispenser with movable pump holding member
A fluid dispenser having a housing with a cover coupled to the housing for movement between a closed position and an open position and a lifting member coupled to the housing between the housing and the cover whereby movement of the lifting member as guided by the housing moves the cover between the open position and the closed position.
Dispenser system
A system for dispensing a fluid, such as a hand soap or the like. The system includes a dispenser and/or a refill cartridge. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a refill cavity, a dispenser lid configured to be coupled to the dispenser body, and a pump sub-system mounted to the dispenser lid. The pump sub-system includes a first dip tube, a dispensing orifice, and a pump. The refill cartridge includes a cartridge body having a fluid cavity, a store of a fluid in the fluid cavity, and a second dip tube extending into the store of the fluid. The refill cartridge is configured for slidable insertion into and removal from the refill cavity of the dispenser body. The dispenser lid may be coupled to the dispenser body thereby mating the first and second dip tubes to enable dispensing of the fluid.
Fluid Dispenser With Improved Catch Mechanism
A fluid dispenser having a piston pump mechanism and a pump driver. The pump mechanism has two piston arms, each piston arm having an inwardly extending piston tip. Each piston tip has a downwardly directed catching shoulder and an upwardly and inwardly directed camming surface. The pump driver has a first driver hook and a second driver hook, each of the driver hooks having an outwardly extending driver tip with an upwardly directed catch shoulder and a downwardly and outwardly directed cam surface. The pump driver is coupled to the pump by moving the pump driver downwards so that engagement of the cam surfaces of the driver hooks with the camming surfaces of the piston arms deflects the piston arms outwardly, until the driver tips move below the piston tips, allowing the piston arms to move inwardly to a coupled position.
Foam-at-a-distance dispensing systems
A dispensing system includes an above-deck nozzle portion, a reservoir for holding fluid, a foam pump, a multi-lumen dispense passage, and a mixing portion. The above-deck nozzle portion has a dispenser outlet and is disposed above a counter. The foam pump is disposed below the counter and includes at least one liquid pump chamber in fluid communication with the reservoir, at least one air pump chamber, and a pump outlet. The multi-lumen dispense passage includes an inlet, an outlet, at least one liquid lumen, and at least two air lumens. The inlet is in fluid communication with the pump outlet, the outlet is in fluid communication with the dispenser outlet, and the at least one liquid lumen and the at least two air lumens are each in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet of the multi-lumen dispense passage. The mixing portion is disposed between the multi-lumen dispense passage and the dispenser outlet.
Point-of-care hygiene compliance module
A point-of-care hygiene compliance module includes a housing that is adapted to be attached to a dispensing container that dispenses material through a dispensing nozzle when actuated. The housing includes a pivoting actuation arm that is configured so as to be placed in operative contact with the dispensing nozzle. Thus, when the actuation arm is actuated, material is dispensed from the dispensing container, and a switch in operative contact with the actuation arm is actuated. The triggering of the switch updates a count value that is maintained by a controller, which may then be displayed or acquired by a remote computer to assess the amount of usage of the dispensing container.
Flexible mounting system for hand hygiene dispensers
A flexible mounting system for a chemical product dispenser includes a dispenser holder and at least one mounting apparatus. The dispenser holder may be attached to the mounting apparatus by means of a releasable connection mechanism. The releasable connection mechanism may provide for attachment of the dispenser holder to the mounting apparatus in multiple orientations. In one example, the mounting apparatus includes a mounting bracket configured for mounting to a support object, such as a wall, table, counter top, cabinet, shelf, cart etc. In another example, the mounting apparatus includes a mounting clamp configured for mounting to ledges, poles, bedrails, handles, etc.
Automatic foam soap dispenser
An automatic foam soap dispenser includes a liquid soap dispenser, an activation unit, and an actuation unit. The liquid soap dispenser includes an outlet, a fluid reservoir for containing liquid soap, and a pump being depressed for dispensing the liquid soap in the fluid reservoir to the outlet. The activation unit includes a sensor for detecting a presence of a user of the liquid soap dispenser, and a motor having a transmission shaft, wherein the motor is activated by the sensor for generating a rotational power to the transmission shaft. The actuation unit includes a pressing member and a linkage system arranged to transmit the rotational power from the motor to a linear movement to the pressing member so as to drive the pressing member to depress the pump.
