SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND TREATMENT
Embodiments provide an ultrasound treatment system and method. In some embodiments, the system includes a removable transducer module having an ultrasound transducer. In some embodiments, the system can include a hand wand with at least one finger activated controller and a control module that is coupled to the hand wand and has a graphical user interface for controlling the removable transducer module, and an interface coupling the hand wand to the control module. The interface may provide power to the hand wand or may transfer a signal from the hand wand to the control module. In some embodiments, the treatment system may be used in cosmetic procedures on at least a portion of a face, head, neck, and/or other part of a patient.
Drive shaft coupling
A drive shaft coupling is provided, such as a coupling used with a formula delivery appliance. The drive shaft coupling generally includes a drive gear and a driven gear, with one of the drive gear and driven gear having a biasing member to allow axial translation. The drive shaft coupling is generally configured to transfer rotation from the drive gear to the driven gear. In one aspect, the drive shaft coupling is capable of alignment and coupling of the drive gear and driven gear upon the radial sliding of the coupling from a non-engagement position to an engagement position.
Composition dispensing device
A composition dispensing device engages a body surface, such as the scalp, while simultaneously dispensing a composition from an attached container on the surface. The device detachably joins a container of a composition and enable uniform dispensing and application of the composition on a body surface. The device comprises a housing that detachably joins with a container of composition. A platform having a plurality of apertures rests coplanar with the housing. A plurality of conduits, or hollow bristles, extend from the platform. The conduits include channels that are in communication with the housing and the container of composition. The conduits are arranged as inner and outer conduits, with the outer conduits being slightly longer to create a generally concave effect. The conduits terminate at an angled tip portion that engages the body surface, while simultaneously dispensing the composition from terminal openings or lateral openings formed at the tip.
Hand wand for ultrasonic cosmetic treatment and imaging
Embodiments of the invention provide a dermatological cosmetic treatment and imaging system and method. In some embodiments, the system (20) includes a hand wand (100) with at least one finger activated controller (150, 160), and a removable transducer module (200) having an ultrasound transducer (280). In some embodiments, the system (20) can include a control module (300) that is coupled to the hand wand (100) and has a graphical user interface (310) for controlling the removable transducer module (200), and an interface (130) coupling the hand wand (100) to the control module (300). The interface (130) may provide power to the hand wand or may transfer a signal from the hand wand to the control module. In some embodiments, the cosmetic treatment system (20) may be used in cosmetic procedures on at least a portion of a face, head, neck, and/or other part of a patient.
CONTAINER FOR HAIR TONIC
Disclosed is a container for a hair tonic, wherein a nozzle hole (21) is formed at a center inside a lid (20) coupled to an upper portion of a container main body (10), and an assembly hole (31) is formed at a center of a scalp stimulation means (30) coupled to an upper portion of the lid such that a nozzle opening and closing means (40) protrudes above the scalp stimulation means to be operated under pressure while compressing an elastic spring when the scalp is tapped, wherein an inclined portion (21a) having a taper shape outside the nozzle hole is normally in linear contact with an outer edge of a blocking plate (44) at a lower portion of the nozzle opening and closing means for tight sealing, but nozzle opening operation is quickly performed to discharge a medicinal fluid when the nozzle opening and closing means is operated under pressure.
Automatic hair powder dispenser
An automatic hair powder dispenser includes a housing, a cartridge that is installed in the housing and accommodates hair powder, a blower fan unit that is installed in the housing so as to be in communication with the cartridge, and a battery that is installed in the housing and supplies electric power to the blower fan unit. Two or more flow tubes through which air supplied from the blower fan unit flows in different directions are provided in the cartridge, thereby efficiently dispersing the hair powder in the cartridge and easily and uniformly discharging the hair powder.
HEAD LICE TREATMENT DEVICE
Devices and methods for treating, reducing and/or eradicating head lice. In one non-limiting embodiment, a device includes a helmet worn by a patient with a means for spacing the helmet apart from the scalp. The helmet is coupled to a means for heating and aerating the scalp. A thermostatic controller is configured to achieve a predetermined temperature and humidity levels of the scalp, such that the propagation of head lice is mitigated.
Hiding thinning hair using scap dye
The present invention is directed to bald or sparsely haired heads, beards and mustaches being perceived to have a fuller head of hair or fuller beard or mustache. Any device comprising of spines that could be staggered. These spines are hollow in the manner of a quill enabling an efficient uptake of dye. The spines are applied to a pad of ink of a similar nature of henna. The aforementioned device is then applied in a rolling motion with even force and speed onto hair bearing areas. The impression of dye which may be permanent or temporary giving the impression of hair.
CONDITIONING COMPOSITION FOR KERATIN FIBERS
The present invention is directed to a substantially anhydrous composition for keratin fibers especially for human hair comprising one or more polyol other than the glyceryl ether, one or more amine and/or quaternary ammonium surfactant, one or more fatty alcohol, one or more glyceryl ether according to the general structure
