Further, a method of reducing sebum with the device including dispensing the formula onto the scalp, applying the energy treatment to the scalp, moving the scraper across the scalp so that the sebum is directed into the one or more sebum extraction channels of the scraper, and suctioning the sebum into a sebum reservoir with the vacuum component.
