ADJUSTABLE TENSION AND SPIN CONTROL CAP FOR ROLL DISPENSERS
An improved cap with a tension adjustment control for a number of different dispensers. It uses a rotor with a threaded portion on an inner bottom surface, and a spring base with multiple braking blades that come into frictional contact with a surface of a rotor upon rotation of the rotor and operation of the tension adjustment dial, where the contact of the braking blades reduces rotational speed and dispensing of the product.
A toilet paper dispenser with an adjustable tension control and a tension grip having several ribs and a spring housing for accommodating a tension spring within the housing, a first and second circular end rings on the two end tips of the tension grip, a tension rod attached to the first circular end, a spring base having a threaded shaft, a tension adjustment dial, having a ribbed outer surface, and a plurality of braking blades, extending in a longitudinal direction to the plane of the tension adjustment dial and coming into frictional contact with an inner surface of the tension grip or the second end ring, for controlling the rotational speed and dispensing of the toilet paper.
Convertible Dispenser
A system and method for dispensing toilet paper. The system includes a back plate coupled to a cover. An arm base is coupled to an arm, and the arm is coupled to a post. The arm base can rotate relative to the cover. By applying a force the arm rest can unseat and freely rotate. If the user starts with an over-the-top roll configuration the user can rotate the arm to present a behind-the-roll configuration without any need for tools or disassembly.
SPINDLE ASSEMBLY FOR SHEET PRODUCT DISPENSERS
An assembly for supporting a roll of sheet product with respect to a sheet product dispenser is provided including a mandrel configured to be positioned within a housing of the dispenser and a spindle. The spindle includes a spindle body positioned over the mandrel and configured to be received within a central opening of the roll. The spindle includes first and second sets of friction elements extending away from respective ends of the spindle body. Each friction element is configured to extend radially inward from the spindle body so as to provide a contact force against the mandrel when the spindle is installed on the mandrel. The contact forces applied against the mandrel may be designed to be constant irrespective of whether the roll of sheet product is installed on the spindle and/or if the inner surface of the central opening of the roll of sheet product has any inconsistencies.
Spindle for restricted movement of continuous format products roll
The present invention relates to a multipurpose spindle for dispensing a continuous format product, such as toilet paper. The spindle is configured to restrict movement of product or paper off the roll to reduce the length of product removed. More specifically, the spindle includes a hollow arm having a thick arm and a thin arm, a plurality of spring biased paper restrictors, and the restrictor touches the paperboard core of a roll to restrict movement of paper off the roll. A central torsional spring positioned inside the hollow arm also helps in restricting the movement of the paper product. The paper restrictors are depressed to slide the spindle through a paper roll and are released to touch the paperboard core of the roll.
Dispenser for dispensing a paper roll
A dispenser includes: a housing having a support axis for accommodating and rotatably supporting the paper roll, a brake shoe having a contact surface configured to abut at a face side of the paper roll and movably attached relative to the housing for adjustment of a braking force, and an elastic member urging the brake shoe in a direction toward the face side of the paper roll and having an adjustable elastic force that adjusts the braking force. The contact surface may have at least a first contact area closer to a tip of the support axis in an axial direction of the support axis and further away from the support axis in a radial direction and a second contact area further away from the tip of the support axis in the axial direction and closer to the support axis in the radial direction to provide a braking force decreasing with a decreasing diameter of the roll.
WEB MATERIAL ROLL DISPENSER AND ROLL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR A WEB MATERIAL ROLL DISPENSER
A roll support assembly for a web material dispenser configured to contain a roll of web material having a first interior end. The roll support assembly includes a roll support mountable into the web material dispenser and including a roll-engaging portion with a peripheral wall engageable into the first interior end of the roll of web material with the roll of web material being rotatable relative to the roll support when engaged therewith and when a pulling force is exerted on the web material; and a rotation brake comprising at least one braking protrusion protruding outwardly from the peripheral wall of the roll-engaging portion and decelerating the rotation of the roll of web material by frictionally engaging at least one of directly and indirectly the roll of web material. The disclosure also concerns a web material roll dispenser with such a roll support assembly.
Mechanical dispenser for perforated sheet products
The present application provides a dispenser for a roll of sheet product. The dispenser may include a housing with a first wall, a discharge chute, and a roll support mechanism positioned within the housing. The roll support mechanism forces the roll against the first wall at a fixed contact area.
Towel protector
Disclosed is a method and cover for maintaining hygiene of a roll of paper towels which are in a community or open area. A cover for protection of a paper towel roll secured about a vertical axis is provided. The cover is preferably circular to match the diameter of the roll. The cover has a cleanable top layer, a hole at the center of the cover and an optional bottom layer having a backing material. The cover is placed on the top of the roll which keeps the roll dirt or germ-free when held by the user. The backing material present on the lower side of the cover adheres sufficiently to the paper towel roll to not slide off the roll when not in use. During use, the cover is held down by the user with one hand, while grabbing and removing a sheet from the roll with the user's other hand.
ROLLED PRODUCT DISPENSER
A rolled product dispenser for dispensing a web of rolled product, comprising: a housing; and a dispensing assembly at least partially housed in the housing and interacting with the web of rolled product and including a dispensing roller having a rotation center and a peripheral wall with an upper section. The dispensing assembly can comprise an upper tensioning assembly and/or a lower tensioning assembly and/or a variable tension return assembly.
PAPER ROLL DAMPENER
Aspects of the present disclosure generally pertain to a devices for dampening inadvertent rollout of a paper roll. Generally, the disclosed dampening device for a paper roll is a device that rests on a bottom portion of an inner surface of a paper roll when the paper roll is installed in a horizontal orientation. The dampening device relies on its weight, to provide friction to resist rollout.
