Roll paper towel or tissue dispenser with spring dampening roll support
Dispenser apparatus for dispensing from a roll of sheet paper product supported by a support arm, a support member pivotally mounted on the support arm and a biasing structure operable to reduce the shock force in the sheet paper product by resisting pivotal movement of the support member.
Product removal switch shuttle for product dispensers
An example sheet product dispenser includes a dispensing mechanism operable to dispense sheet product to provide the dispensed portion within a dispensing chute. A tear bar is provided for separating the dispensed portion from a remainder of the sheet product. A shuttle is positioned between a switch and the dispensed portion. The shuttle is movable between an unactuated position and an actuated position. When the shuttle is in the unactuated position, the switch is in the unactuated configuration. The shuttle and the switch are positioned within the sheet product dispenser such that as the user pulls on the dispensed portion the shuttle moves to the actuated position so that the shuttle applies a force on the switch sufficient enough to transition the switch to an actuated configuration to indicate removal of the dispensed portion. Other example improvements include providing feedback for user inputs to a product dispenser.
SEPARATION UNIT AND A DISPENSER COMPRISING A SEPARATION UNIT
A separation unit for separating a web material along preformed lines of weakness. The separation unit has a width direction and includes at least a first roller having a rotational axis extending in the width direction and a web width extending in the width direction, and at least a second roller having a rotational axis extending parallel with the rotational axis of the first roller and a web width extending in the width direction. The second roller is positioned at a distance from the first roller. Each of the first and the second rollers is provided with at least one protrusion element extending perpendicularly from the axes. Each of the protrusion elements has a maximum width in the width direction, a maximum radial extension from the rotational axes, an inner portion adjacent to the rotational axes, and an outer portion remote from the rotational axes.

Electronic Dispenser for Flexible Rolled Sheet Material
The present disclosure is in one aspect directed to a dispenser for flexible rolled sheet material. The dispenser can include a dispenser housing containing a support mechanism configured to hold at least one supply roll of sheet material, and a control circuit to control dispensing of sheet material from the dispenser housing. The dispenser housing also can include a dispensing mechanism to drive the sheet material along a discharge path from the dispenser housing through the discharge upon receiving a signal from the control circuit, and a tear bar mounted within the dispenser housing for severance of the sheet material by a user. In addition, the dispenser can include a static charge dissipation system with an antenna to dissipate static charge generated upon operation of the dispenser. Other aspects also are described.
FLUSHABLE WIPE HOLDER AND SYSTEM
A flushable wipe holder and system is provided. The system has a housing having an air-resistant seal to prevent moisture from escaping from flushable wipes. The housing is easily secured to existing toilet paper holders. The housing dispenses wet tissues and has an optional holder for also dispensing standard dry toilet paper. A pivoting cover allows replacement of the flushable wipes.
DISPENSING DRUM
The present disclosure relates to a dispensing drum for a sheet material dispenser, the dispensing drum comprising first and second part-cylindrical drum members that are coupled together to form a drum body defining a central axis. The first and second drum members are coupled together by an end piece located adjacent to a first end of the drum body. The end piece comprises a first mounting formation that is engaged with a corresponding first mounting formation provided at the first end of the drum body to form a first coupling, and a second mounting formation that is engaged with a corresponding second mounting formation provided at the first end of the drum body to form a second coupling. The first coupling is configured to be formed by bringing the first mounting formations together in a first direction aligned with the central axis of the drum body, and the second coupling is configured to be formed by bringing the second mounting formations together in a second direction perpendicular to the central axis of the drum body.
ROLLED SHEET MATERIAL DISPENSER
A rolled sheet material dispenser, used for dispensing a sheet material on a reel, includes a box and a clamping assembly. The clamping assembly includes a first clamping member, a second clamping member and at least one elastic member. The first clamping member or/and the second clamping member may be a roller. The roller is pivotally connected to the box through a pair of rolling bearings and adjacent to a dispensing opening. The roller is connected with the elastic member so that the roller can be displaced by an elastic force of the elastic member to a clamping position and can be supported by the rolling bearings to clamp the sheet material stably.
Interface for an automatic hygienic sheet paper dispenser
The disclosure concerns an interface for communicating with and for controlling the operation of an automatic hygienic sheet material dispenser. The interface includes a user sensor to detect the presence of a user within a sensing zone, at least one indicator for indicating the setting of an operational parameter, a main microcontroller, at least one additional sensor for adjusting a dispenser operational parameter or activating a dispenser function, and a protective cover including a graphical symbol or text. The at least one additional sensor, the at least one indicator, and the main microcontroller are located on a main printed circuit board located behind the protective cover and arranged such that the at least one graphical symbol or text overlaps with the at least one additional sensor or the at least one indicator. The main microcontroller is arranged to selectively operate the dispenser in a user setting or a maintenance setting.
ESTIMATING USERS OF A PRODUCT DISPENSER
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for optimizing performance of a product dispenser are provided herein. Depending on the circumstances surrounding the product dispenser (e.g., the environment, the type or habits of users or individual users, etc.), initial dispensing parameter settings of the product dispenser may be undesirable. Using monitored usage data, optimized dispensing parameters can be determined to achieve more desirable usage of the product dispenser (e.g., decrease waste, power save, increase efficiency, etc.). Additionally, using bounding parameters and/or information from the environment (e.g., nearby product dispensers) can lead to further optimized performance of the product dispenser. User or group specific optimized dispensing parameters can also be determined and used.
