Implementations of a hair extension washboard are provided. In some implementations, the hair extension washboard comprises a hair extensions board, a hair clip assembly, and a board support. In some implementations, the hair extension washboard further comprises a hair drying enclosure. In some implementations, the hair extension washboard also comprises surface connectors. In some implementations, a method of using the hair extension washboard comprises positioning the hair extension washboard in a sink or other suitable location, holding hair extensions with the hair extension washboard, and washing, coloring, drying, etc. the hair extensions while held by the hair extension washboard.

A system, computer readable medium and method for selective brightening of hair, the method may include or may be preceded by applying at least one photosensitive material to the hair. The method may also include forming at least one pattern of brightened hair by illuminating the hair by at least one pattern of illumination.

A hair coloring appliance includes a handle and a hair color delivery system supported within the handle. A nozzle assembly is adapted to receive hair color. A method for coloring hair on a human head using a blow dryer is provided. According to the method, the hair is separated into sections of different shape (e.g., rhombic, square, triangular, horseshoe-shaped, etc.). Then, subsections of hair are isolated in each section. Each subsection of hair is grabbed and pulled (in a direction of a cut line of the hair) with one hand of a hairdresser, and different (e.g., short, medium-length, and long) layers of hair are blown out of the subsection of hair by an air flow from the blow dryer held in another hand of the hairdresser. After that, at least one of the blown-out layers of hair is fixed (e.g., with a clamp) and colored. The hair thus colored is then rinsed and treated according to a post-coloring recipe.
