The invention relates to an aerosol device comprising: a container containing: one or more propellants, and a composition comprising one or more fixing polymers and/or one or more styling powder(s) comprising one or more water-insoluble inorganic compounds, it being possible for the propellant(s) to be present in the composition or, in the container, separate from the composition, a means for dispensing said composition comprising: a body (3) that is open at its two opposite axial ends, an engaging part (10) that is open at its two opposite axial ends, at least partially defining at least one dispensing orifice (12).

A portable hair printer includes a communication module, a printer module that performs a printing operation, a memory that stores a program for printing an image on a surface of a bundle of hairs, and a processor that executes the program, wherein the program is executed by the processor, receives an image to be dyed on the bundle of hairs from the user terminal through the communication module, and transmits the received image to the printer module to perform an image printing operation for the bundle of hairs, and the portable hair printer further comprises a housing having the communication module, the printer module, the memory, and the processor embedded therein, and the housing includes an upper housing and a lower housing hinged to each other around a hinge.

In a hair styling device (20), a light emitting diode (33) is configured to deliver optical energy to hair, wherein an energy fluence of the optical energy is between 0.5 and 9 J/cm.sup.2, and more preferably between 1 and 5 J/cm.sup.2. The light emitting diode (33) is pulse-driven, and a pulse width of the optical energy is at least 50 ms. An output wavelength of the optical energy may be between 400 and 900 nm. The pulse width of the optical energy is preferably between 50 and 300 ms. The hair styling device (20) may comprise an optical shield (32) configured to block stray light during light exposure of the hair. An inner surface of the optical shield (32) may be reflective and/or may have a parabolic shape. The optical shield (32) may be movable between an open position in which a lock of hair can be placed in the hair styling device (20) while the optical energy is not applied, and a closed position in which light is prevented from escaping the hair styling device (20) while the optical energy is applied to the hair. The hair styling device may be a hair straightener having opposing first and second straightening surfaces, of which at least the first straightening surface comprises the light emitting diode (33), and at least the second straightening surface is arranged for reflecting light from the light emitting diode (33).

In various embodiments, a method of providing a hair treatment agent is provided. The method can have a detecting of at least one sensor value on hair of a user by employing at least one portable sensor, a determining of a hair condition of the user by employing the detected at least one sensor value, a computer-assisted determining of a user-specific hair treatment agent including the determined hair condition, and a preparing of the determined user-specific hair treatment agent by employing a hair treatment agent mixing device.

A hair dye device includes a barrel, wherein the barrel includes a hollow center and a hook extending from one end of the barrel and an absorbent material impregnated with hair dye, wherein the absorbent material is configured to extend beyond the one end of the barrel, wherein a tip of the absorbent material moves toward the hook to provide a loop to capture hair within the loop.

A hair-highlighting device has a handle and a reservoir for storing a highlighting composition. The device is adapted to dispense a tape of barrier material and also adapted to simultaneously dispense highlighting composition via a reservoir outlet to a lock of hair. The device comprises a manually operated mechanism to expel highlighting composition from the reservoir such that when the device is in use a user may vary the amount of highlighting composition dispensed from the reservoir by varying the pressure that is applied to the mechanism.
