SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus has a suction motor actuator that is actuatable to actuate the suction motor to operate in a low mode of operation and to operate in a high mode of operation. A first power pack provides a first level of on board power that is available to power the surface cleaning apparatus. A second power pack provides a second level of on board power is available to power the surface cleaning apparatus, the second level of on board power is greater than the first level of on board power. Each of the low and high modes of operation are enabled when the first power pack is provided to power the surface cleaning apparatus and when the second power pack is provided to power the surface cleaning apparatus. When the second power pack is provided to power the surface cleaning apparatus, an operating power level provided to the suction motor during at least one of the low and high modes of operation is increased.
CLEANER HEAD FOR A VACUUM CLEANING APPLIANCE
A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaning appliance includes an agitator assembly including a cylindrical body configured to rotate about its longitudinal axis; a main body defining an agitator chamber within which is supported the agitator assembly and a suction opening through which a portion of the agitator assembly engages a surface to be cleaned. The main body has opposing ends and a first exhaust channel in fluid communication with the agitator chamber. The main body is configured such that the cross-sectional area of the agitator chamber increases in a direction from one of the opposing ends of the agitator chamber towards the first exhaust channel.
A CLEANER HEAD FOR A CLEANING APPLIANCE
A cleaner head for a cleaning appliance including a housing having a front side, a rear side, and first and second sides which extend between the front side and the rear side, the housing further including a floor facing surface which extends between the front side, rear side and first and second sides which, in use, faces a surface to be cleaned. A floor engaging device is connected to the floor facing surface of the housing and which extends laterally between the first and second sides of the housing, said floor engaging device including a first portion for absorbing liquid from a surface to be cleaned; and a second portion positioned closer to either a front side or a rear side of the housing, said second portion being relatively stiff compared to the first portion.
A CLEANER HEAD FOR A CLEANING APPLIANCE
A cleaner head for a cleaning appliance including an agitator rotatable about an axis; a housing having a front side, a rear side, and first and second sides which extend between the front side and rear side, said housing further including a floor facing surface. The housing defines a chamber which at least partially surrounds the agitator, the chamber having a dirty air inlet and a dirty air outlet. A wiper device which extends laterally between the first and second sides of the housing and is positioned on or adjacent the floor facing surface. A floor engaging device extends laterally between the first and second sides of the housing and is positioned on or adjacent the floor facing surface. The floor engaging device includes an absorbent portion. The wiper device and the floor engaging device are positioned rearwardly of the dirty air inlet.
CORNER SUCTION DEVICES FOR VACUUM CLEANERS, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed are devices, systems, and methods for vacuum cleaners, including vacuum cleaners with corner suction functionality. An example vacuum cleaner includes a suction channel assembly that has a main channel including a main suction input and one or more branch channels connected to the main channel and extending away from the main channel, each branch channel having an opening forming an auxiliary suction input. The vacuum cleaner can have a valve positioned between the main channel and at least one branch channel. The valve can be operable to open or close to allow or block suction through the branch channel and/or open or close to allow or block suction through the main channel. The vacuum cleaner can include a lower assembly that carries the suction channel assembly. Each branch channel opens to an exterior of the lower assembly, such as through a front corner of the lower assembly.
Cleaning apparatus
A cleaning apparatus may include a cleaning unit that is kept from moving downwardly from a predetermined limit position. The apparatus body includes a positioning member that positions the cleaning unit at the limit position. The cleaning unit includes an intake nozzle that is arranged at a position separated from the surface to be cleaned by a predetermined gap, a cam member that holds the cleaning unit at the limit position, and an operation input unit that changes the limit position to a higher position by moving the cleaning unit upward by operating the cam member.
REMOVABLE ROTATABLE DRIVEN AGITATOR FOR SURFACE CLEANING HEAD
A removable rotatable driven agitator is used in a surface cleaning head and is driven by a drive mechanism that axially engages a driven end of the agitator. The removable rotatable driven agitator may be located in an openable agitator chamber for purposes of removing debris and/or removing the agitator. The openable agitator chamber may be covered by an external cover that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The removable agitator may be secured in the agitator chamber by the external cover. The removable rotatable agitator may have an end cap mounted on a rotatable bushing at a non-driven end and may have a splined driven member at the driven end to engage a splined drive member on the drive mechanism.
Autonomous cleaner
A robot cleaner comprising: a cleaner body including a controller, the cleaner body having a dust container accommodation part formed therein; a wheel unit mounted in the cleaner body, the wheel unit of which driving is controlled by the controller; and a dust container detachably coupled to the dust container accommodation part, wherein a first opening and a second opening are disposed at the same height in an inner wall of the dust container accommodation part, wherein the dust container includes: an entrance and an exit, disposed side by side along the circumference of the dust container, the entrance and the exit, respectively communicating with the first opening and the second opening when the dust container is accommodated in the dust container accommodation part; and a flow separating part extending downwardly inclined along the inner circumference of the dust container.
CLEANING ROBOT
A cleaning robot includes a housing assembly, a roller brush, a driving module, a dust box, a suction device, a power supply battery and two travelling modules. The housing assembly has a front end and a rear end, and a bottom of the housing assembly is recessed to form a mounting cavity. The roller brush is rotatably arranged in the mounting cavity and can be driven to rotate by the driving module. The two travelling modules are arranged at the rear end of the housing assembly and are spaced from the roller brush in a front-rear direction of the housing assembly.
HAIR SCRAPING PLATE FOR FLOOR BRUSH, AND FLOOR BRUSH AND VACUUM CLEANER CONTAINING SAME
The present disclosure discloses a hair scraping plate for a floor brush, and a floor brush and a vacuum cleaner containing the same. The hair scraping plate includes a plate body and a plurality of hair scraping pieces. The hair scraping pieces are located on one side of plate body close to a rolling brush. An area of the hair scraping pieces close to the rolling brush is provided with a scraping area. The scraping area has a first structural plane and a second structural plane. At least part of an area of the first structural plane is inclined to one side close to the second structural plane. When the rolling brush rotates, components located at the same position of a soft scraping layer first approach the first structural plane, and then rotate to a direction away from the second structural plane after abutting against an abutting edge.
