VACUUM CLEANER AND DUST PLUME REDUCTION APPARATUS
A dirt collection and separation module can include a suction air flow around the perimeter of a tank to ingest fine dust that becomes airborne during the emptying process. Additionally, a trash can suction nozzle around a rim, a hand vacuum docking station, and an auxiliary suction nozzle that can fluidly couple the hand vacuum.
Cleaner
A cleaner includes: a suction unit that guides dust and air; a main body that includes a dust separation unit for separating dust from air guided through the suction unit; a main body terminal mounted on the main body; a handle unit that is slide-coupled to the main body; and a handle terminal mounted on the handle unit and is connected to the main body terminal when the handle unit is slide-coupled to the main body.
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner includes a body having a space that allows air to flow therethrough. The vacuum cleaner includes a suction inlet that introduces the air into the body and a first cyclone in the body. The first cyclone separates foreign substances from the air introduced into the suction inlet. The vacuum cleaner includes a dust separation module having a filter unit that separates foreign substances from the air introduced from the first cyclone. The dust separation module also includes a second cyclone arranged within and separated from the filter unit. The second cyclone includes a cyclone base, a storage unit arranged adjacent to a lower portion of the second cyclone, and a cyclone array coupled to the cyclone base. The cyclone array allows the air to pass through an upper portion of the second cyclone and discharge the foreign substances collected by the second cyclone to the storage unit.
DIRT SEPARATION DEVICE
A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing that supports a suction source, a dirt separation device that has an elongate axis, and a user graspable handle having an elongate axis. A passage member transports dirt-laden air to the dirt separation device. The passage member has an elongate axis. The elongate axis of the passage member and the elongate axis of the user graspable handle lie in a plane. The elongate axis of the dirt collection chamber intersects the plane. During operation, while the housing is supported on a floor surface, the elongate axis of the dirt separation device is parallel with the floor surface.
Cyclone module for vacuum cleaner
A cyclone module for a vacuum cleaner includes a primary separator, a bulk collection chamber, at least one secondary separator, and a fines collection chamber. First and second doors are provided for closing debris outlets at the bottom ends of the bulk and fines collection chambers, respectively. The fines collection chamber is elevated within the bulk collection chamber, with the second door spaced above the first door.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A hand vacuum cleaner has a cyclone assembly having a cyclone with a central longitudinally extending axis wherein, when the upper end of the hand vacuum cleaner is positioned above the lower end of the hand vacuum cleaner, the central longitudinally extending axis is oriented generally horizontal. The cyclone assembly has a cyclone assembly height that extends between an upper end of the cyclone assembly and a lower end of the cyclone assembly with a medial portion of the cyclone assembly positioned between the upper end and the lower end of the cyclone assembly. A housing containing the suction motor is positioned rearward of the cyclone assembly and extends downwardly from the upper end of the cyclone assembly to the medial portion. A pistol grip handle is positioned rearward of the cyclone assembly, below the housing and extends downwardly from the medial portion.
Dust collector for vacuum cleaner
The present disclosure discloses a dust collector for a vacuum cleaner, including a first cyclone disposed within an outer case to filter out dust from air introduced from an outside thereof and introduce the air from which dust has been filtered out to an inside thereof, a second cyclone accommodated in the inside of the first cyclone to separate fine dust from the air introduced to the inside of the first cyclone, a first guide vane spirally extended from an annular shaped first space between the first and the second cyclone to induce rotational flow so as to introduce air introduced into the first space to an inlet of the second cyclone, and a second guide vane spirally extended along an inner circumference of the inlet to enhance the rotational flow of air introduced to an inside of the second cyclone through the inlet.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing having an elongate axis (H) and supports a suction source, and a dirt separation device having an elongate axis (A). The dirt separation device includes a separator for separating dirt from dirt-laden air, and a dirt collection chamber for receiving separated dirt. The dirt separation device or a part of the dirt separation device is releasably connected to the housing. A passage member that transports dirt-laden air to the dirt separation device has an elongate axis (B). The dirt separation device is pivotally moveable relative to the housing to effect release of the dirt separation device.
Dirt separation device
A dirt separation device for a surface cleaning apparatus including: a separator for separating dirt from dirt-laden air; an inlet through which dirt-laden air is drawn into the separator; an outlet through which cleaner air exits the separator; a dirt collection chamber for receiving separated dirt; a cover member movable between a first position in which the cover member inhibits access to the dirt collection chamber and a second position in which the cover member permits access to the dirt collection chamber; an actuator device coupled to the cover member for effecting movement of the cover member from the first position to the second position, wherein the actuator device is rotationally movable, or an engagement part operably connected to the actuator device is rotationally movable, to effect movement of the closing member from the first position to the second position.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A surface cleaning apparatus has a cyclone chamber. The cyclone chamber has an air inlet at a first end and an air outlet at an opposed end. A screen member extends from the air inlet to the air outlet at the opposed end.
