A robot cleaner of the present disclosure includes: a main body forming an outer shape; a pair of rotary mops configured to rotate in contact with a floor to move the main body; a drive motor configured to rotate the pair of rotary mops; a mop sensing unit comprising at least one micro switch provided on a surface of the rotating plate configured to output a sensing signal when the mop cloth is attached; and a controller configured to determine attachment state of the mop cloth based on the sensing signal and control the driving of the rotary mop. Accordingly, the robot cleaner may detect whether the mop cloth is attached to the rotating mop, and alert the user, thereby protecting the floor by preventing wet cleaning without the mop.

A cleaner includes a body forming an external appearance, a rotating plate provided at a lower side of the body, a mop unit coupled to a lower side of the rotating plate so as to be in contact with a floor, a spin shaft connected to an upper side of the rotating plate so as to rotate the rotating plate, a water supply reservoir configured to surround a periphery of the spin shaft and spaced apart from the spin shaft so as to define a water supply space, and a water supply module configured to supply water to the water supply space. The rotating plate forms a water supply hole configured to interconnect the water supply space and the lower side of the rotating plate.

A floor maintenance machine includes a chassis, a floor-cleaning implement adapted for engagement with the floor, and a service cabinet. The floor-cleaning implement is supported by the chassis. The service cabinet is coupled to the chassis and defines a cavity. The cavity receives a plurality of fluid access points collectively therein.

A robot cleaner includes a rolling cleaning module including a rolling member configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise when viewed from a left side while in contact with a floor, a sensor unit, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine a change in position of the robot cleaner and a change in load current of a motor connected to the rolling member based on data detected by the sensor unit, and determine that a specific area of the floor is a contaminated area when there is a change in the position and a change in the load current.

A robot cleaner includes a cleaning module having a left spin-mop and a right spin-mop configured to contact a floor while rotating in a clockwise direction or in a counterclockwise direction when viewed from above. The present application relates to a robot cleaner. The robot cleaner of the present application includes: a main body which forms an external shape; a water tank which stores water; a rotation mop which is in contact with a floor while rotating and moves the main body; a drive motor which rotates the rotation mop; a motion detection unit which measures a reference motion of the main body when the rotation mop rotates; and a controller which measures a slip rate based on an actual speed of the main body measured by the motion detection unit in the reference motion and an ideal speed of the main body estimated according to driving of the drive motor, and controls an amount of water supplied to the rotation mop.

A system and related apparatus and method for delivering fluid to and from a bottom center of a floor-operation pad on a rotary-motion flooring machine while the pad is rotationally operating on a horizontal underfoot surface, the system comprising a fluid-delivery hub comprising: a plurality of fluid entry openings disposed on an outside circumferential surface thereof; an equal plurality of fluid flow channels commencing at the fluid entry openings, angling downward and inward from the fluid entry openings toward a center of the fluid-delivery hub, and terminating at an equal plurality of fluid exit openings proximate a bottom center of the fluid-delivery hub; and a floor-operation interface at a bottom of the fluid-delivery hub configured to directly or indirectly attach a floor-operation pad thereto, for operating on a floor.

A floor cleaning apparatus in the form of a motorized floor mop that can deliver liquid to a surface to be cleaned is provided with a handle, a base, a fluid delivery system, a motorized agitation system and a multi-axis swivel joint coupling the handle with the base for movement of the handle. A lock-out mechanism selectively locks out one of the axes of rotation of the multi-axis swivel joint.
