Method of Using Polishing or Grinding Pad Assembly
A floor polishing or grinding pad assembly is provided. In one aspect, a polishing or grinding pad assembly employs a fibrous pad, a reinforcement layer or ring, and multiple floor-contacting disks. In another aspect, the reinforcement layer includes a central hole through which the fibrous pad is accessible and the fibrous pad at the hole has a linear dimension greater than a linear dimension of one side of the adjacent reinforcement layer. In yet another aspect, at least one of the floor-contacting disks has an angle offset from that of a base surface of the disk, the fibrous pad and/or the reinforcement layer. A further aspect employs a smaller set of disks alternating between and/or offset from a larger set of the disks. In another aspect, the reinforcement layer includes a wavy or undulating internal edge shape.
ORBITAL SINGLE-BRUSH MACHINE FOR TREATING FLOORS
An orbital single-brush machine comprising a frame which rests on the floor and is provided with at least one movement handle; the frame being connected to a motor which is adapted to actuate with combined rotary and orbital motion a work tool that acts on the floor; the frame comprising a first substantially plate-shaped footing which is spaced apart from the floor, and a second substantially plate-shaped footing which supports the motor and is arranged below the first footing and is supported so that it can rotate freely by the first footing about an oscillation axis that is substantially parallel to the floor and substantially perpendicular to the advancement direction of the machine.

Towel Quick Connector Cleaning Wand
The quick connector cleaning wand directly connects a cleaning towel to a hand-operated cleaning wand. The quick connector is located around the periphery of the cleaning wand to provide balanced and even mechanical movement of the attached towel. The present invention provides an interface between a hand polisher and cleaning or polishing towels in order to take advantage of the mechanical action of the machines to provide faster and more efficient use of towels. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is a towel quick connector cleaning wand having of a plurality of retaining apertures for attaching and securing a towel.
ROBOT POLISHER
A robot polisher has, in a box-shaped body part having a round shape in a plan view, right and left batteries, right and left wheel motors (not shown), and a pair of right and left wheels. The right and left wheel motors are rotationally driven by using the batteries as power supplies. The pair of right and left wheels can be individually rotated forward/backward by the respective wheel motors. On a lower housing, at the front-side lower part of the body part, a pair of right and left brushes are downwardly attached, which rotate in directions opposite to each other during traveling while being in sliding contact with a floor surface.

A coupling instrument is provided that can easily attach or detach a main body to or from a cleaning part in a cleaning device. The coupling instrument includes a first coupling member including a bulging part having a slant part. A side peripheral part of the slant part is tapered toward a tip thereof. A first protruding part is formed in a protruding manner around the bulging part. The coupling instrument further includes a second coupling member including a fitted part in which the bulging part can be loosely fitted, and a second protruding part formed in a protruding manner around the fitted part. The second protruding part is adjacent to the first protruding part; and the second coupling member has a plurality of engaging parts arranged around the fitted part.

A coupling instrument is provided that can easily attach or detach a main body to or from a cleaning part in a cleaning device. The coupling instrument includes a first coupling member including a bulging part having a slant part. A side peripheral part of the slant part is tapered toward a tip thereof. The present invention relates to a floor grinding apparatus (100) with a housing (110) having an interior space (111) open to one side, a carrier plate (120) rotatably mounted in the interior space (111) for receiving abrasives, and drive unit (130) adapted to rotate the carrier plate (120), the housing (110) having an inner dust sealing ring (112) with at least one recess (115), wherein the inner dust sealing ring (112) divides the interior space (111) into an inner portion (113) and an outer portion (114), and wherein the carrier plate (120) is disposed in the inner portion (114), at least one extraction opening (116) disposed in the outer portion (114), and an outer dust sealing ring (117) enclosing the interior space (111), the inner dust sealing ring (112) and the outer dust sealing ring (117) being arranged to define a common working plane parallel to the plane of rotation of the carrier plate (120).
