SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes a housing including a base adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned, a fluid delivery system, and a recovery system. The surface cleaning apparatus can be configured to clean multiple surfaces, including hard and soft surfaces, and apparatus is provided with a base adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned, a brushroll removably mounted within the base, and a brushroll latch for securing the brushroll to the base. The brushroll latch can be captured by a portion of a nozzle assembly to prevent unintended release of the brushroll.

Cleaning roller
A cleaning roller for a cleaning appliance, in particular a wiping roller for a wet cleaning appliance, or a cleaning appliance having such a cleaning roller processes an area to be cleaned. The cleaning roller has a roller core that can rotate about a longitudinal axis and has a bearing for a drive shaft and a roller cover surrounding the roller core in the circumferential direction. The roller core, based on a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, has several spring elements formed beside one another in the circumferential direction of the cleaning roller, each of which extends from the bearing to the roller cover.

A wet cleaning device, in particular a wet wiping device, has a cleaning roller which is rotatable about a roller axis and has a cleaning lining. In order to create a wet cleaning device in which the regeneration effect is optimized, in particular while using a minimum of liquid, the wet cleaning device has a decelerating element to assist the removal of liquid and/or of dirt from the cleaning roller, which element has an impact edge directed radially outwards with respect to the roller axis and is arranged between fibers of the cleaning lining during a regeneration operation in such a way that the free ends of the mechanically unloaded fibers project outwards in the radial direction beyond the impact edge.
Wet-cleaning appliance having a rotatable cleaning roller
A wet-cleaning appliance, in particular a wet mop, has a cleaning roller, which can be rotated about a roller axis, and having a wetting device for applying a liquid to the cleaning roller. In order to provide for regeneration of the cleaning roller with the best possible result, it is proposed that the wet-cleaning appliance should have a wiper device, in particular a wiper lip, which can be displaced onto the cleaning roller and is intended for assisting in removing liquid and/or dirt from the cleaning roller and/or for assisting in applying liquid to the cleaning roller.

FLOOR CLEANING APPARATUS WITH CLEANING FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a sweeper that includes a fluid delivery system for providing cleaning fluid to a floor surface. The sweeper can be configured to perform multiple cleaning functions, including wet mopping and dry sweeping. The sweeper can have a collection cup and a microfiber brushroll which mechanically propels dirt and liquid from the surface to be cleaned into the collection cup.

The present disclosure relates generally to an apparatus for cleaning or otherwise treating a floor or ground surface. Devices provided herein include various features to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of cleaning operations.
