MANUAL WASHER
A manually operated washing machine, with first mode of operation with an agitating wash and rinse cycle for washing laundry and a second mode of operation with spin cycle for spinning the washed laundry to extract water.
CLEANING DEVICE COMPRISING CLEANING STRIPS
A cleaning device includes a main body and cleaning strips bound to the main body at binding regions. The cleaning strips each include cleaning regions. At least one cleaning strip of the cleaning strips is strengthened at the binding region thereof to the main body. A cleaning region of the at least one cleaning strip is less strengthened or not strengthened compared with the binding region. Different cleaning strips and/or cleaning regions have different widths.
BROOM AND MOP COMBINATION SYSTEMS
Broom and mop combination system includes a broom and mop assembly having a broom-member, a mop-member, a shaft having a distal end, a proximal end, a hinged member, and a handle. The mop-member and broom-member are located on opposite sides of the shaft and may be used interchangeably. The broom and mop assembly is configured to provide a mop and broom combination tool.
HIGH ABSORBENCY MOPS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS AND KITS
High absorbency mops and associated methods and kits are provided. The mop includes a mob body with at least one outer layer and an inner layer. The outer layer of the mop contains a nonwoven material, and the inner layer contains sodium polyacrylate in an amount of at least one percent by weight of the inner layer.

SHEET WITH TOW FIBERS AND MOVABLE STRIPS
A cleaning article for cleaning a target surface. The cleaning article has strips which present a dynamically changing surface area to the target surface during use. The surface area has also has a bundle of tow fibers which may be oriented transverse to the strips. The tow fibers may extend outwardly from the plane of the strips, allowing particles to migrate towards and be retained near the center of the cleaning article, without interfering with the strips.

FLOOR CLEANING ARTICLE HAVING STRIPS WITH DIFFERENTIAL BOND PATTERN
A cleaning article. The cleaning article has a laminate construction. The cleaning article comprises a sheet and a hydrophilic gather strip element joined together at plural bonds. The gather strip element has plural layers superimposed upon one another, providing strips extending outwardly from the bonds. Different layers are differentially bonded, to provide a construction which allows the strips to advantageously present a dynamically changing area to the target surface during cleaning, under normal usage conditions. By changing the surface area, more liquids, and associated debris, can be cleaned from the target surface.
