A flocculation system is provided including a vessel having an open top. The flocculation system also includes a sidewall comprised of a water-impermeable material. The flocculation system further includes a first bottom comprising the water-impermeable material. The flocculation system further includes a second bottom having a floc filter that passes flocs and prevents the passage of a cleaning tool. The flocculation system further includes a floc trap below the second bottom. The floc trap includes a space defined by the sidewall, the first bottom, and the floc filter. In some implementations, the flocculation system includes a flocculant disposed on the sidewall, the floc filter, or the first bottom.

A cleaning article. The cleaning article has a laminate construction. The cleaning article comprises a sheet and a hydrophilic gather strip element joined together at an elongate bond. The gather strip element has plural layers folded upon one another, providing strips extending outwardly from the bond. The folded layers provide a construction which allows the strips to advantageously present a dynamically changing area to the target surface during cleaning, under normal usage conditions. By changing the surface area, more liquids, and associated debris, can be cleaned from the target surface.

A cleaning element includes: a support body; and textile strings that are elongate. At least part of the textile strings includes a plurality of strands. A first strand and a second strand of the plurality of strands run longitudinally along the at least part of the textile strings, and a third strand of the plurality of strands runs transversely to the longitudinal extent of the at least part of the textile strings. The plurality of strands includes a fourth strand. The fourth strand runs longitudinally along the at least part of the textile strings. The fourth strand is disposed between the first strand and the second strand. The first, second, third, and fourth strands are fixed to one another by a support thread.

A DuraLock scrubber and scraper attachments with replaceable surface scrubbing and scraping capability, that includes providing a removable/replaceable surface scrubbing and scraping attachments, and attaching the elements to the mop head holder for scrubbing and scraping the floor surface. This provides a mop handle with surface scrubbing and scraping capability and includes an attachment for rigid connection to a mop handle, which is adapted to carry replaceable surface cleaning element(s). The replaceable elements can be a scraper, scrubbing pad or bristles or other abrasive materials that can be interchanged or replaced depending upon the job or as the components wear without requiring removal of the mop head and further allows the replacement of the mop head without requiring removal and reinstallation of the elements.

The replaceable elements can be a scraper, scrubbing pad or bristles or other abrasive materials that can be interchanged or replaced depending upon the job or as the components wear without requiring removal of the mop head and further allows the replacement of the mop head without requiring removal and reinstallation of the elements.
