Device and method of use for pecan picking
A device and method of use for a pecan picker which utilizes suction to pick up the pecans as well as a container body for storing the picked up pecans with at least one partition for separating the picked up pecans from extra extracted material obtained through the suction process. In one embodiment the device has a hose portion and a container body portion. The container body portion has a motor portion for providing suction for the device. In other embodiments the device also has a partition portion for separating the picked up pecans from extra extracted material obtained through the extraction or suction process. In another embodiment, the device also has a frame portion for moving the device.
ROLLER ASSEMBLY FOR SMOOTHING GRANULAR MEDIA
A roller assembly for smoothing an expanse of granular media such as golf bunker sand, snow, horse race track dirt, or other media. The assembly has one or more rollers having a longitudinal axis. Each roller includes wires spaced from the axis to define a roller surface. Each wire is resiliently flexible to distort inwardly in response to force of contact on, and to recover during release of force from, the granular media as the roller rotates about the axis on the granular media. A shaft extends along the axis of the roller assembly between the arms of a yoke with a handle extending therefrom. As the roller surface traverses the media, at least some of the media is flung outwardly of the roller, smoothing the expanse. The roller assembly may be manually operated or may be towed behind a towing apparatus.
HAND TOOLS HAVING A PROTECTIVE HAND GUARD
Hand tools having a hand guard for protecting a user's working hand are provided. In one embodiment, the hand tool may be a paint roller that includes a roller assembly having a proximal end and an opposite distal end, and a hand guard attached to the roller assembly. The roller assembly may include a handle portion extending from the proximal end of the roller assembly, and a support portion extending from the distal end of the roller assembly to the handle portion. The support portion may include a support arm assembly attached to the handle portion and a cover support positioned at the distal end of the roller assembly and rotatably attached to the support arm assembly. The hand guard may be positioned over a top surface of the handle portion and may include a plurality of walls defining an interior space configured to receive a user's hand therein.
NUT COLLECTOR
The present invention provides a nut collector which includes a chassis (1) supported on its lower surface over a crosswise shaft (2) and respective wheels (3), while, on the front side, it receives a coupling drawbar (4), below which is a collector set (5) is located having rotating brushes (7) and located close to the ground and leveled by side wheels (8) such that aligned fruits in that region are swept inside as the machine moves ahead and subsequently pass through a vibrating screen assembly (11) and selection screens (12), wherein the residues and debris are separated and the clean nuts pass through a crosswise conveyor (14) and elevator (15) for accumulation in a dump bucket (16).
Traveling collector
To provide a highly reliable, cost-effective traveling collector that can determine the positions of fallen objects, such as balls, on the ground using a simple method, or determine the correct positions of fallen objects, such as balls, on the ground only by improving software and without the need for significant changes to hardware. The traveling collector includes a count sensor as a sensor for detecting the position of each collected ball at a position detected by a satellite positioning system, for example. A controller determines a position, which is obtained by reflecting, based on the positional information on the ball collector at a time point when the ball was counted by touching the count sensor, the movement distance of the ball collector from the time each ball was picked up from the ground by a ball collection wheel till the ball was counted by touching the count sensor in a direction opposite to the traveling direction of the ball collector at that time, as the actual position where each ball was picked up.
Nut row harvester
A nut row harvester has a nut hopper attached to a conveyor system. The nut row harvester has first and second frame sections that are pivotable relative to each other. A delivery end of the conveyor is moveable from a lower or harvesting position to an upper or dumping position. The nut hopper moves between the upper and lower positions with the end of the delivery conveyor.
Hand tools having a protective hand guard
Hand tools having a hand guard for protecting a user's working hand. In one embodiment, the hand tool may be a hand rake that includes a rake body having a proximal end and an opposite distal end and including a handle portion and a rake portion. The handle portion may extend from the proximal end of the rake body and include a finger opening configured to receive a user's fingers therethrough. The rake portion may extend from the distal end of the rake body to the handle portion and include a plurality of tines. A hand guard may be attached to the rake body and positioned over a top surface of the handle portion and may include a plurality of walls defining an interior space configured to receive the user's hand therein. In other embodiments, the hand tool may be a grabber or a paint roller.
SEPARATING DISK AND ASSEMBLY FOR NUT HARVESTER
Systems and methods for separating harvested crop product from twigs, dirt, dust, and other debris. A disk to be used in a harvester includes a first segment and a second segment and is configured to cooperate with adjacent disks axially mounted on a common rotational shaft, and radially cooperate with disks mounted on a parallel rotational shaft. The disks are used in a roller assembly or a harvester, and gaps between cooperating disks remain effectively constant during operation.
Nut gatherer and method of constructing same
A nut gatherer device includes a cage formed by a plurality of wires and a pair of hubs. Each hub includes first and second annular sets of spaced teeth, with portions of the wires secured in the radially-aligned spaces. In use, the wire cage is rolled on the ground into contact with a bulky object, such as a nut, so that the object forces the wires to separate and permit the nut to pass into the cage where it is retained until emptying.
Electronic soil coping system applied to a grain harvesting platform
Electronic soil coping system applied to a grain harvesting platform, able to adjust working height parameters during the collection process, adapting itself to soil irregularities and to those generated by uprooting, increasing the efficiency and reducing loss, enabling to combine belt collection at any time, individually, in pairs, or all of them jointly, generating different physical states, which will vary according to the number of belts of the device, also allowing the platform to perform tailpieces at street ends, not collecting undesired materials, and also allowing to increase the width of collection belts.
