DYNAMIC TENSIONING DEVICES FOR ORTHOPEDIC COMPRESSION
Constructs, devices, and methods for dynamically compressing tissue. An exemplary construct comprises a dynamic tensioning device configured to be implanted in a subject and defining a suture-coupling site. The dynamic tensioning device may be deformable superelastically from a resting state to a stretched state. A suture may be connected to the dynamic tensioning device at the suture-coupling site.
Expanding knotless suture anchor
A suture anchoring system having an implant body that defines a bore space extending longitudinally about a central axis from a proximal end to a distal end of the implant body. A tapering interference portion is provided on an interior surface of the implant body and extends into the bore space, the taper being toward the central axis of the implant body bore space from the proximal end to the distal end of the implant body. An anchor has a threaded anchor portion extending therefrom and defines a threaded bore, where the extended threaded anchor portion configured to be received in the bore space of the implant body. A slot is defined in the threaded anchor portion, the slot configured to receive the interference portion of the implant body; and a threaded plug is configured to be received in the threaded bore of the anchor.
SUTURE ANCHOR
A knotless suture anchor system is disclosed for improved anchoring in tissue. The knotless suture anchor system includes an anchor body having an exterior surface, a proximal end, a distal end, a longitudinal axis extending between the proximal and distal ends, an interior longitudinal passageway extending at least partway from the proximal end toward the distal end, a proximal opening communicating with the longitudinal passageway nearer the proximal end, and a distal opening communicating with the longitudinal passageway nearer the distal end. The knotless suture anchor system also includes an interference member insertable distally into the longitudinal passageway to secure a portion of a suture within the longitudinal passageway by compressing the portion of the suture between the interference member and the anchor body, and a frangible connection that joins a proximal member to the anchor body.
IMPROVED PUSH-IN SUTURE ANCHOR SYSTEM
Improved suture anchor systems and methods of use are disclosed herein. The suture anchor may have proximal and distal ends, and first and second lateral sides extending between the proximal end and the distal end. A centrally located suture passage may extend through the anchor body from a first opening in the first lateral side to a second opening in the second lateral side. A channel may extend along a longitudinal axis of the anchor body. The insert may be configured to translate longitudinally within the channel between the proximal end of the anchor body and the distal surface of the suture passage. There may also be provided a surgical broach adapted for use with the suture anchor system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ANCHORING AN IMPLANT
The invention relates in some aspects to a device for use in anchoring an implant, including anchors, sutures, implants, clips, tools, lassos, and methods of anchoring among other methods. Anchors as disclosed herein could be utilized to secure a coaptation assistance device, an annuloplasty ring, an artificial valve, cardiac patch, sensor, pacemaker, or other implants. The implant could be a mitral valve ring or artificial mitral valve in some embodiments.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ATTACHING TISSUE TO BONE, INCLUDING THE PROVISION AND USE OF A NOVEL KNOTLESS SUTURE ANCHOR SYSTEM
Apparatus for securing an object to bone, the apparatus comprising: an anchor, the anchor comprising: a body comprising an opening for receiving a filament therein; and a locking element movably mounted to the body for selectively locking the filament to the body; and an inserter for deploying the anchor in bone, the inserter comprising: a handle; an overtube extending distally from the handle; a carriage movably mounted to the handle; a shaft movably mounted within the overtube and connected to the carriage and releasably connected to the body of the anchor, the shaft being hollow; and a rod movably mounted within the shaft and connected to the locking element.
Fixation member with separate eyelet and methods of use thereof
In one embodiment of the present disclosure, an implant system for securing tissue to bone, including a first fixation member releasably engaged to a first inserter, the first fixation member having a throughbore adapted to accept a filament therethrough and a cannulation extending from a proximal end of the first fixation member to a distal end of the first fixation member, the first inserter positioned through the cannulation and having a distal tip extending distally beyond the distal end of the first fixation member, and a second fixation member releasably engaged to a second inserter different from the first inserter, the second fixation member having a size capable of being positioned within the bonehole.
