Multifunctional Comb
20200178668 · 2020-06-11 ·

A multifunctional comb includes a comb body and a plurality of comb teeth, the comb body has at least one opening extending from the bottom end to the top end. The openings on the comb body can increase the air convection in the comb body in the axial direction and the radial direction and improve the ventilation performance of the comb, so that hair can be quickly dried. During styling, the damage to the hair resulted from a too high temperature is avoided, and the hot wind from the hair drier is more uniformly applied to the hair, therefore, the time for styling the hair is saved.

Attachment for a handheld appliance

An attachment including a casing having an air inlet for receiving an airflow from a hair styling apparatus, a hair engaging member, supported by the casing, and adapted to move relative to the casing between a first position and a second position under the action of an over-centre mechanism. First and second airflow outlets are formed between the casing and the hair engaging member when the hair engaging member is in the first and second position, respectively.

Hair brush with ejection system
10602835 · 2020-03-31 · ·

A hair brush system with a rapid, consistent, and efficient means for connecting and ejecting the brush handle from the brush head. The hair brushes feature a strong support member structure that gives the hairbrush strength while the handle and brush head are connected. The handle has a pair of barbed ejection fingers that engage and retain the brush head. When separation of the brush handle and the brush head is desired, the user depresses an actuator associated with each ejection finger. The compressed ejection finger has a tip that comes into contact with a conical protrusion in the brush head. The resulting action first disengages the brush head and then causes an outward force to be applied to the brush head thereby ejecting it from the handle.

SYSTEM FOR SENSING AND ASSOCIATING A CONDITION ON A BODY PART OF THE USER WITH A THREE-DIMENSIONAL ENVIRONMENT WHEN USING A COSMETIC DEVICE

Hair dryer attachment

An attachment for a hair dryer that is movable between a first position and a second position in order to alter one or more characteristics of the airflow therethrough. In one embodiment, an attachment having multiple facets and types of projections with varying stiffness are provided on an outer housing that can be rotated relative to a base by the user. In a second embodiment, an attachment having a concave surface with prongs extending therethrough that can be moved such that the exposed portion of the prongs are lengthened or shortened, as desired.

Hairbrush with improved temperature characteristics

A combination of a hairbrush having a brush head with a concave central portion and captive ends, along with a thermal coating that includes a desired amount of at least one of aluminum, silver, and/or diamond dust in the coating, results in a hairbrush that can be raised to approximately 200 F. in a short timeframe. A conventional hairbrush without either the coating or the captive ends was unable to achieve the desired temperature.
