Navigated Patella Clamp
Disclosed herein are systems and methods of patella arthroplasty. A navigated patella clamp used in an arthroplasty procedure includes first and second movable jaw members and an actuation member coupled to the first and second jaw members for moving the first and second jaw members along a plane toward and away from one another. The patella clamp further includes a tracker and adjustable stylus for positioning the clamp on a patient's patella below a desired resection plane. The adjustable stylus coupled to the clamp is used to check the position and orientation of the clamp with respect to the patella to ensure the correct amount of bone will be resected from the patella corresponding to the thickness of a patella component that will be implanted on the resected patella.
Patella fracture reduction plates
Plates for patella fracture reduction and fracture reduction devices are described. More particularly plates and devices for patella reduction that are universally fit to a front surface or perimeter of a patella and include a plurality of attachment holes disposed therein for receiving a fastener. In some embodiments, the plates include removable tab members.

SURGICAL GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A surgical system includes a surgical device, a surgical tool coupled to the surgical device, a user interface, and a control system. The control system is configured to identify a target point or target region of an anatomy of a patient, generate a virtual object based on the target point or target region, the virtual object comprising a funnel-shaped boundary having a central axis substantially aligned with the target point or target region, and control the surgical device to constrain the surgical tool from penetrating the funnel-shaped boundary.
Osteotomy Device with an In-Vitro Alignment Component
The present invention provides an osteotomy device with an in-vitro alignment component comprising a first body component, a second body component and an in-vitro alignment component. The first body component has an upper guide edge for forming a cutting track. The second body component has a lower guide edge disposed below the upper guide edge. A guide slot is formed between the upper guide edge and the lower guide edge for guiding the saw blade to cut. The guide slot has a connecting member for connecting the upper guide edge and the lower guide edge. The in-vitro alignment component has an engaging member and at least one aiming hole. The engaging member is engaged with the connecting member. The aiming hole is used to confirm the direction of cutting.
Surgical Methods of Osteotomy Device with an In-vitro Alignment Component
The present invention provides a surgical method of osteotomy device with an in-vitro alignment component comprises the steps of: placing a first body component and a second body component on the surface of a bone; engaging an engaging member with a connecting member; inserting at least one aiming bone pin in at least one aiming hole to confirm the cutting direction; inserting at least one fixation bone pins in a plurality of fixation holes to fix the osteotomy device with an in-vitro alignment component; cutting along a guide slot to produce an osteotomy; spreading the osteotomy; placing a bone plate to maintain the osteotomy.
CONICAL PATELLA RESURFACING
Disclosed herein are patellar implants and methods to prepare bone for receiving the same. The patellar implant may include an articulating surface and an anterior surface with a non-planar surface to engage with a resected patella. The non-planar surface may include a conically shaped portion to receive the resected patellar bone. A method for resurfacing a patella to implant a patellar implant having a recessed anterior surface may include the steps of determining the minimum implant and resection depth, medial and lateral patellar slope angles to select and resect with a symmetrical reamer.
Orthopaedic surgical instrument system for implanting a prosthetic patella component and method of use
An orthopedic surgical instrument system includes a compression socket configured for coupling with a selected one of a number of compressible bases. Each compressible base is shaped to conform with a posterior surface of either a dome patella implant component or an anatomical patella implant component.
Artificial Prosthesis Installation Clamp and Method
In the use of devices and methods for measuring applied pressure on an article, such as a patella construct during a surgical procedure, a clamp is provided with arms, an optional external spring, an optional internal spring and a torque knob for applying constant and measurable pressure to the article. Embodiments of the clamp include a spring rod engaged with the torque knob for assisting in applying and retaining desired pressure. Spike elements and a bushing insert are secured to the ends of the arms for retaining the article in place during use. The elements are advantageously assembled and disassembled to facilitate thorough and quick cleaning.
Patient-matched instruments
Patient-matched surgical instruments and associated methods having an anatomy facing side including several discrete, physically separate anatomy contacting portions configured to match the anatomy of a particular patient and including one or more of non-uniform in distribution, non-uniform in shape and non-uniform in surface area.
