GROOMING INSTRUMENT CONFIGURED TO MONITOR HAIR LOSS/GROWTH WITH VARIED BRISTLE SPACING
An instrumented comb, including bristles protruding from the handle, the bristles spaced apart from each other such that a first set of two or more bristles are spaced by a first distance, a second set of two or more bristles are spaced by a second distance, and a third set of two or more bristles are spaced by a third distance, wherein the third distance is greater than the second distance and the second distance is greater than the first distance. The comb includes a controller receiving signals from: a contact sensor to detect contact with a scalp, and a magnetic compass to determine location on the scalp. The comb uses the signals to record the detected contact information and determined location information as the comb undergoes a brushing gesture over a scalp, measure hair density based on the contact information and location information, and output the measured hair density.
ANTI-STATIC HEALTHCARE HAIR BRUSH
An antistatic health care comb comprises a comb body (3) which is coated with a conductive metal film (2), and the conductive metal film (2) is coated with a resin protective film (1). The two film are combined so that the conductivity of the conductive metal film (2) is partially reduced, and the original pure conductor is transformed into a composite semi-conductive structure product and has a higher charge migration rate that is typical for semi-conductive material. The friction generated charge can be guided and dissipates faster through direct contacted with the human body. Formation of static electricity is prevented, which protects the hair, makes the hair smoother when combing, and prevents curling phenomenon; the front side of the comb tooth portion has an upwardly arched airbag leather, and the airbag leather has airbag through holes (8) and a plurality of comb tooth.

Lice Comb
A lice comb (10) comprising a main housing (12) including a first aperture (15) at a first end (14) thereof and a second aperture (17) at a second end (16) thereof. A fan unit (18) draw airs in through the first aperture (15) and expels air outwardly through the second aperture (17). A comb module (38) is rotatably secured to a comb support unit (34) adjacent a first end of the main housing (12). The comb module (38) comprises a comb body (46) and a tine module (48) having a plurality of teeth (44). The comb body (46) includes a channel (52) extending from a first longitudinal side adjacent the tine module (48) to a second longitudinal side thereof and a tine slot (54) is located adjacent the first end of the channel (52) to receive the tine module (48) such that air drawn in through the channel (52) passes across a first surface of the teeth (44).
Barber's Comb and Scoop
A comb and scoop used by barbers and salons includes a comb portion for styling and cutting hair and a handle portion including a scoop configured to reach into a hair product container to reach the hair product. Hair product is provided in metal, plastic or glass jars or other containers. It is difficult to reach the hair product in the bottom of the container, especially around the bottom edge. Barbers continually use combs during cutting and might use the comb handle to reach the remaining hair product, but known comb handles are not shaped to reach into the corners. The handle portion has a straight handle end with rounded corners to remove the hair product on the container bottom and into bottom corners of the container.

HAIR STREAKING COMBS
A hair streaking comb of the present disclosure has a handle that is integral with a spine. The comb has a plurality of teeth on one side of the spine and a plurality of prongs projecting from an opposing side of the spine. Each prong comprising a U-shaped notch and each prong is separated from an adjacent prong via a gap such that when a section of a person's hair is combed, first portions of the hair fall over and through the prongs and second portions of the hair fall over and through the gaps, thereby enabling a hairdresser to color only the portions of the hair that fall over and through the prongs to provide streaks in the person's hair.

COMB
The purpose is to reduce a load on fingers which grip a comb and to increase a gripping power to the fingers which grip the comb. In a comb, first and second recessed parts of a curved shape are formed in both perimeter edges of edge comb parts in width directions, respectively, and also first and second comb tooth recessed parts of a curved shape are formed in both perimeter edges of a plurality of comb teeth in width directions. When one of the edge comb parts is mainly gripped by the fingers, the fingers are fitted into the first or second recessed part of the edge comb parts and also into the first or second comb tooth recessed parts of the comb teeth located nearby. Since each of the recessed parts has the curved shape, it achieves surface contact with the fingers.
