System for Connecting a Connecting Device, in Particular a Distractor, to a Bone

System for connecting a connection device to a bone with a bone pin, wherein the connection device is provided with an opening for receiving the bone pin, wherein the system comprises: said connection device; a guiding tube arranged to guide the bone pin from the connection device to the bone for connecting the bone pin to the bone, wherein the inner diameter of the guiding tube corresponds to the outer diameter of the bone pin and wherein the guiding tube can be slidably received in the opening, the guiding tube being slidable with respect to the connection device along an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the opening; a locking device arranged to be received in the opening of the connection device and arranged to engage the bone pin for locking the bone pin with respect to the connection device, wherein the guiding tube is movable with respect to the connection device and bone pin such that the guiding tube is removable from the combination of the bone pin and the connection device and wherein the locking device is arranged to lock the bone pin after removal of the guiding tube.

External fixator assemblies, systems, and methods thereof. An external fixator system may include a plurality of fixator assemblies configured to connect a plurality of pins, for example, positioned on opposite sides of a fractured bone, with one more rods. The fixator assemblies may include a plurality of clamp assemblies which are configured to rotate relative to one another when the fixator assembly is in an unlocked position.

An external fixation assembly for bone fusion or separation is disclosed. The assembly includes a fracture fusion tube, with a bracket slidably engaged thereon. The assembly further includes a collet clamp connected to the bracket, with a ball collet rotatably seated within the clamp, the ball collet having an aperture for receiving a bone bin therethrough and perforations for a compression engagement with a bone pin. The assembly uses a single screw for threadably engaging the ball collet, the clamp and the bracket such that the position of the bone pin, ball collet and bracket are all fixed.

BRACKET FOR EXTERNAL FIXATION OF BONES

A fixation system for fixing a bone fracture has a plurality of blocks, needles and rods that snap together in a framework around the fracture. The needles are inserted through the bone and the blocks are snapped onto the ends of the needles. Rods are snapped onto the blocks on both sides of the finger to keep the finger in place. Each block has two channels located on opposite sides and extending perpendicular to each other. The channels are structured so that a rod or needle having a diameter equal or slightly greater than one of the channels can be snapped into and retained by the channel.

BONE REDUCTION AND INTERNAL FIXATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USING SAME

A clamping device for bone reduction and internal fixation comprises a first clamp member and a second clamp member configured to have an upper section, a middle section and a lower section to define a scissor-like structure. The clamp members are hingedly attached to each other at a pivot point using a screw in the middle section. A pair of arcuate members configured in the upper section to define a first opening to receive and hold a fracture bone for reduction and a second opening in a U-shaped profile to define a substantially wide area to slidably receive a plate for the internal fixation simultaneously without removing the device during the surgery. The clamping device is used to secure the bones in comminuted fracture wherein the clamp members hold the bone rigidly to provide traction force to align the fracture site.

Orthopedic implant

An orthopedic device includes a fixator body having a first part and a second part that are connected by a joint and having an internally threaded bore extending longitudinally therethrough. A first pair of opposed longitudinally extending slots is provided in the first part and a second pair of opposed longitudinally extending slots is provided in the second part. A first and second pin-holders are received within and threadably engage the internally threaded bore of the first part and the second part, respectively, and are configured to removably hold a first and second sets of one or more bone fixation pins extending through the first and second pairs of opposed longitudinally extending slots, respectively.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING A FEMORAL ARRAY CLAMP

Systems and methods for using a femoral array clamp can include sliding a first throughbore of a first femoral array clamp on a first bone pin having a distal end disposed within a bone: inserting an array arm through a second throughbore of the first femoral array clamp; and locking a physical relationship between the first bone pin and the array arm by actuating a first fastener of the first femoral array clamp.
