The present invention generally relates to methods and device for treatment of spinal deformity, wherein at least one tether is utilized to maintain the distance between the spine and the an ilium to (1) prevent increase in abnormal spinal curvature, (2) slow progression of abnormal curvature, or (3) impose at least one corrective displacement and/or rotation.

WRIST STABILIZATION SYSTEMS

Devices, systems, and methods for bone stabilization, especially ulna head stabilization. The stabilization system may include a bone plate having an elongated portion extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end. The bone plate defines a plurality of through holes extending through the elongated portion. A plurality of fasteners are configured to extend through one or more of the plurality of through holes in the bone plate and configured to secure the bone plate to the bone. The proximal end of the elongate portion has an arcuate configuration.

A sternum fixation device includes a plate having a first end and a second end, a right lateral edge and a left lateral edge, an inner side configured for placement against the sternum, and an outer side. A first lobe includes a band socket defined as a blind recess in the outer side of the plate. The band socket includes a right lateral stop and a left lateral stop opposite the right lateral stop. A right lateral channel is defined in the first lobe from the right lateral edge to the band socket, the right lateral channel defined above a right side floor in the socket. A left lateral channel opposite the right lateral channel is defined in the first lobe from the left lateral edge to the band socket, the left lateral channel defined above a left floor in the socket.

Surgical staple

A surgical staple (714) for inserting into one or more bone parts (10, 12) comprises a plate (718), a first screw (748) and a second screw (748). The plate (718) includes a first end (768F), an opposed second end (768S), a first aperture (742) that is positioned near the first end (768F), and a second aperture (742) that is positioned near the second end (768S). Additionally, the plate (718) is curved along a length of the plate (718) from the first end (768F) to the second end (768S). The first screw (748) extends through the first aperture (742). The second screw (748) extends through the second aperture (742). Further, the first screw (748) and the second screw (748) are angled toward one another when the surgical staple (714) is in a relaxed configuration.

Bone implant with means for multi directional force and means of insertion

An assembly used in osteosynthesis comprising a delivery instrument in combination with an implant wherein the delivery instrument releasably holds the implant in a first configuration prior to attachment of the implant to bone. The delivery instrument allows the implant to be affixed to bone before the implant is released from the instrument. And the instrument may comprise guide means for drills, depth gauges, screws, pins, pegs, blades and or drivers which are used or implanted when the implant is releasably attached to the instrument. After the implant is affixed to bone and released from the delivery instrument, the implant assumes at least a second configuration which provides compression and or distraction and or control of spatial orientation.

Compression force magnifier

A compression force magnifier including a vertical axis through a body and a proximal surface of the body sloped at a predetermined angle relative to the vertical axis. A flat distal surface of the body is disposed opposite the proximal surface. A bore is disposed through the body from the proximal surface through the distal surface. The body is connected to an arm having a connection opening configured to allow connection of the body to a bone plate. The connection opening has a connection axis spaced from the vertical axis.

SPINAL PLATE

The present invention provides a spinal plate which is used to perform fixation surgery on a spine in orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery. The spinal plate comprises a central body and a pair of rotation portions which are disposed on both sides in a longitudinal direction of the central body and each of the pair of rotation portions has bone screw. The spinal plate also comprises spike screw in each of the pair of rotation portions. Each of the pair of rotation portions include a rotation connection portion, and the central body includes a rotation support portion. Rotation pins are used to connect the central body with the pair of rotation portions disposed on both sides in a longitudinal direction of the central body and enable the pair of rotation portions to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise with respect to the central body.

Proximal humeral stabilization system

Devices, systems, and methods for bone stabilization, especially proximal humeral stabilization. The stabilization system may include a bone plate having an elongated portion extending along a longitudinal axis and an enlarged head portion extending from the elongated portion. The stabilization system may include an intramedullary nail having an upper portion and a lower portion extending from the upper portion, the upper portion and the lower portion including a plurality of holes. A plurality of fasteners may be configured to extend through one or more of the plurality of through holes in the bone plate and/or one or more of the plurality of holes in the intramedullary nail and into the bone. The plate and nail may each be used alone or in combination together to stabilize a fracture in a long bone, such as a humerus.

SURGICAL FIXATION SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
20210378721 · 2021-12-09 ·

A surgical fixation system including a base plate, a plurality of anchors and a locking element. The base plate has at least a pair of fixation apertures configured to receive at least a portion of the anchors therethrough. The fixation apertures are located within the base plate such that upon proper placement of the base plate within a surgical target site, one of the fixation apertures is positioned over a first bone segment (e.g., a first vertebral body), and the other fixation aperture is positioned over a second bone segment (e.g., a second vertebral body).

BOWED PLATE FOR FIXATING OSTEOTOMIES AND JOINT ARTHRODESES

An apparatus and methods are provided for a bowed plate for fixating osteotomies and joint arthrodeses. The bowed plate includes a backplate comprising a support portion and an aperture portion that share an intervening central portion. The central portion angles the support portion and the aperture portion toward a midline of the bowed plate. A leg extends from the support portion and includes fixation features that enable the leg to grip an inner wall of a hole drilled in bone. A slanted aperture in the aperture portion is configured to countersink a bone screw. The central portion is configured to be straightened by way of a surgical bending instrument and implanted at a bone fixation or fusion site of a patient. Upon relaxing the surgical bending instrument, the leg and the bone screw compress the fusion site.
