Dental implant prosthetic and surgical life-saving kit
The present invention is a dental implant tool comprising of a handle and a head portion connected to each other via a hinge facilitating the head to pivot relative to the handle to enable the dentist to reach various positions within a patient's mouth. The head portion configured to retain an abutment, an impression coping or healing abutment during a dental procedure and can be moved to the left and the right up to 90 degrees. The head comprises a rotatable ratchet with a key-shape center hole to hold an abutment in place while affixing the abutment to an implant and provides a complete access to implant-driver tip to the screw head, regarding to any abutment-body angulation, position and screw access hole. The inner wall of the center hole has 3?-degree convergences at any plan of the walls in order to grasp, lock and hold implant abutments. The dental tool provides practitioners with a better and more enhanced access to the sites of the implants without any limitations, regarding to the implant while minimizing the amount of health risk exposure through increasing the level of safety standards.
Bone plate system
Bone plate systems are provided for surgical implants and bone repair. The bone plate is multi-tiered for receiving bone anchors screws for securing a plurality of bones or bone fragments in a desired relationship. The plate members include throughbores for receiving a pivot base therein, with head ends of the bone anchors being secured in the pivot bases. The throughbores may permit and define a translation path for the pivot base and the bone anchor secured therein relative to the plate. Pivot members extending between the pivot base and the plate member facilitate pivoting and optional translation of the pivot base relative to the plate. With the bone anchor seated within the pivot base, an apparatus for inhibiting screw back out is employed.
Pivoting Vertebral Plate
A surgical system includes an implant having a first attachment mechanism and an insertion instrument having a proximal end, a distal end, and a second attachment mechanism disposed at the distal end for removable connection with the first attachment mechanism. The proximal end of the insertion instrument is pivotable with respect to the implant. The insertion instrument can include an inserter and a guide. A method of using the surgical system is provided.
Fastening device and tool for surgical holding systems
A fastening device for surgical holding systems includes a holding element and a fastening element with a ball joint, which can be locked by way of rotating an eccentric ring in the holding element. The joint socket defines a joint inner surface of the ball joint and the joint head a joint outer surface of the ball joint. When the eccentric ring clamps the joint head with respect to the joint socket, the position of three contact locations of the ball joint which lock the ball joint are unambiguously defined due to the shape of at least one of the three elements: joint socket, joint head and eccentric ring.

ORTHOPAEDIC FIXATION DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Implantable fixation devices for rejoining opposed portions of a separated bone. The devices include plates that may be affixed to a rib and realign separated portions of the rib or other body part. The devices may also include various locking mechanisms that receive a cable that may be used to realign and bring together separated portions of a bone or other body part. The devices may further include plates that may be affixed to a sternum and realign separated portions of the sternum or other body part.
ENDOSSEOUS SCREW ASSEMBLY AND INTERNAL FIXATION SYSTEM COMPRISING SAID ENDOSSEOUS SCREW ASSEMBLY
An endosseous screw assembly for an internal fixation system, comprising: a stem extending longitudinally and having at least one threaded distal portion for allowing anchoring to a bone site of a patient; a connection sleeve suitable for introduction inside a connection hole of a fixation member; and a ring nut rotatably mounted on the connection sleeve. The ring nut may be threadably mounted on the connection sleeve and may comprise a rim with teeth designed to cooperate with a step formed on the fixation member, in the vicinity of the connection hole, so as to prevent rotation of the ring nut with respect to the fixation member when the connection sleeve is introduced into the connection hole of the fixation member. The ring nut may further comprise multiple deformable interference fit components which lie along a conical portion of the connection sleeve.
Low profile spinal tethering devices
Methods and devices for treating spinal deformities are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a low-profile spinal anchoring device is provided for receiving a spinal fixation element, such as a tether, therethrough. The device generally includes a staple body that is adapted to seat a spinal fixation element, a fastening element for fixing the staple body to bone, and a locking assembly for coupling a spinal fixation element to the staple body. In one embodiment, the locking assembly includes a washer that is adapted to couple to the staple body such that the spinal fixation is disposed therebetween, and a locking nut that is adapted to engage the staple body to mate the washer to the staple body.
Tenodesis Implants and Tools
Methods and devices are provided for anchoring a ligament or tendon to bone. In one embodiment, a biceps tenodesis system is provided and includes a sheath inserter tool, an expandable sheath configured to couple to the sheath inserter tool, an expander inserter tool, and an expander configured to couple to the expander inserter tool. The sheath inserter tool is configured to advance the expandable sheath, with a tendon disposed therearound, into a bone hole, and the expander inserter tool is configured to advance the expander through an outer shaft of the sheath inserter tool and to drive the expander into the sheath. The expander is configured to be received within a lumen extending at least partially through the expandable sheath to thereby expand the sheath. In this way, the system delivers the tendon or ligament into the bone hole and locks the sheath and tendon within the bone hole.
SPINAL IMPLANT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A surgical instrument comprises a first member including a drive engageable with a first mating surface of a bone fastener. A second member is rotatable relative to the first member and includes an element engageable with a second mating surface of the bone fastener. An actuator is connected with the second member and includes visual indicia of engagement of the element with the second mating surface. Systems, spinal implants and methods are disclosed.
