System and method for motion-adjusted device guidance using vascular roadmaps

A system and method is provided for creating motion-adjusted or motion-compensated images of a patient to guide an interventional medical procedure. The method includes displaying a static roadmap and a plurality of dynamic images to show the interventional medical device aligned on the static roadmap using a motion transformation. Alignment of the interventional medical device on the static roadmap is based on a user selection of one of motion compensation of the interventional medical device relative to the static roadmap to produce a plurality of images that do not show patient motion or motion adjustment of the static roadmap relative to the interventional medical device to produce a plurality of images that show patient motion.

EXTENDED REALITY HEADSET OPACITY FILTER FOR NAVIGATED SURGERY

A shroud for an extended reality (XR) headset may include an opacity filter including a first region having a first light transmissivity, and a second region having a second light transmissivity different from the first light transmissivity. The shroud may also include a connection mechanism for removably connecting the opacity filter to the XR headset to position at least a portion of the opacity filter in a user's field of view when viewing a real-world scene while the XR headset is worn by the user.

A surgical instrument comprises a first member extending between a proximal end and a distal end configured for fixation with tissue. A second member defines a longitudinal passageway and is connected with a navigation component such that the distal end is disposable with the passageway at a selected distance from the navigation component. The navigation component is positioned relative to a sensor to communicate a signal representative of an orientation of the first member. A third member extends between a proximal end and a distal end. The third member is mountable with the first member along the orientation such that the distal end of the third member is engageable with the tissue. Systems, spinal implants, constructs and methods are disclosed.

SURGICAL GUIDANCE DEVICE

Briefly, the invention relates to a surgical tool and method for forming a pilot bore by inserting a guide wire into bone. More particularly, the device includes a cannulated hand grip and driving tool used for the rotation of a bone or pedicle screw into bone. The rear portion of the hand grip includes a slide assembly that is suited to grip a guide wire. The slide assembly includes a user adjustable stop to control the sliding movement of the guide wire. The rear surface of the slide is constructed to be impacted with a hammer or similar device, whereby the stop prevents the guide wire from penetrating the bone further than desired. A jack member is included to allow the wire to be precisely retracted.

Method and system for image processing to determine blood flow

Embodiments include a system for determining cardiovascular information for a patient. The system may include at least one computer system configured to receive patient-specific data regarding a geometry of the patient's heart, and create a three-dimensional model representing at least a portion of the patient's heart based on the patient-specific data. The at least one computer system may be further configured to create a physics-based model relating to a blood flow characteristic of the patient's heart and determine a fractional flow reserve within the patient's heart based on the three-dimensional model and the physics-based model.

Surgical Site Displacement Tracking

A method comprises providing a current state image and at least one reference image, taken from a similar angle range. The image and the at least one reference image are superimposed and a visual representation visualizing the relation between the image and the reference image is provided in order to track displacements of the bone during subsequent operation steps. A system is provided which can use the image data to track displacements and determine deviation from a current state of the elements in question to a target state.

Surgical robotic automation with tracking markers

Devices, Systems, and Methods for detecting a 3-dimensional position of an object, and surgical automation involving the same. The surgical robot system may include a robot having a robot base, a robot arm coupled to the robot base, and an end-effector coupled to the robot arm. The end-effector, surgical instruments, the patient, and/or other objects to be tracked include active and/or passive tracking markers. Cameras, such as stereophotogrammetric infrared cameras, are able to detect the tracking markers, and the robot determines a 3-dimensional position of the object from the tracking markers.

SURGICAL IMPLANT SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE

A surgical device has a shaft including a proximal portion and a distal portion being disposable with a surgical robot guide to engage vertebral tissue. The proximal portion defines a detectable marker and is connectable with at least one surgical instrument for manipulating the vertebral tissue. Systems, surgical instruments, spinal implants, constructs and methods are disclosed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VISUALLY GUIDING BONE REMOVAL DURING A SURGICAL PROCEDURE ON A JOINT

A method for guiding bone removal during a surgical procedure includes receiving a two-dimensional image of at least a portion of a joint during the surgical procedure, determining an alignment of a pre-generated three-dimensional model of the at least a portion of the joint with the two-dimensional image based on one or more features in the two-dimensional image that are associated with the at least a portion of the joint, wherein the pre-generated three-dimensional model comprises a representation of planned bone removal, generating an overlay image based on the determined alignment, the overlay image comprising an overlay of at least a portion of the representation of planned bone removal on the two-dimensional image, and displaying the overlay image to guide bone removal during the surgical procedure.
