Electric toothbrush, and transmission for an electric toothbrush
The transmission according to the invention for an electric toothbrush serves for the transmission and reforming of a rotational movement provided by an electric motor into a particularly careful and effective cleaning movement of a cleaning element. The ratio of the distance between the longitudinal mid-axis of an output shaft and the longitudinal mid-axis of a drive shaft of the transmission and of the distance between the longitudinal mid-axis of a shaft driving a cam of the transmission and the longitudinal mid-axis of the cam amounts to at least 10:1.
ORAL CLEANSING DEVICE WITH ENERGY CONSERVATION
A brushing device including a motor having an eccentric drive shaft, an output shaft operably connected to the motor, and a power train assembly coupled between the eccentric drive shaft and the output shaft. The power train converts rotation of the eccentric drive shaft into an oscillating movement of the output shaft. The power train includes one or more conservation features that absorb energy when the output shaft rotates in a first direction and reapply energy to the output shaft when it rotates in a second direction.
PERSONAL HYGIENE SYSTEM
A personal hygiene system includes a personal hygiene device having a receiver unit, a control unit, and a functional unit; and a separate control device having a transmitter unit. The control unit drives the functional unit in at least one of a first functional mode and a second functional mode different from the first functional mode. The control unit inhibits provision of the second functional mode while the control unit is in a default state. The transmitter unit sends at least a first signal to the receiver unit of the personal hygiene device when the separate control device is switched from a default control mode to a first control mode. The control unit can be switched from the default state into a first state when the first signal is received by the receiver unit, in which first state the control unit permits provision of the second functional mode at least during a first allowance period.
Handle assemblies with oscillator assemblies contained therein and teeth cleaning systems that utilize the same
A teeth cleaning system, which provides improved coverage or brushing area. The system includes an actuated tray comprises brushing elements. The brushing elements may be positioned to engage the front, rear, and top surfaces of the upper and lower jaw teeth. The actuation may be configured to oscillate the tray in a lateral direction which may brush all the surfaces of teeth simultaneously. Some embodiments include a higher density of bristles which increases the effectiveness of brushing. In addition, aspects of the system reduce the time spent brushing teeth.
Apparatus and method for performing a localization of a movable treatment device
An apparatus for performing a localization of a movable treatment device having at least one inertial sensor and configured to treat the target surface. The apparatus has a motion pattern classification device configured to discriminate between two or more motion classes contained in a set of motion classes, and an interface for providing, from the inertial sensor to the motion pattern classification device, inertial sensor data representing a movement of the movable treatment device. The motion pattern classification device has a neural network configured to receive and classify inertial sensor data with respect to the motion classes associated with one or more different zones relating to the target surface so that the classification of inertial sensor data indicates an estimation of the location of the movable treatment device with respect to the one or more zones of the target surface.
ELECTRIC ORAL CLEANING TOOL
An electric oral cleaning tool, including: a housing, a transmission rod, and a brush head assembly. The brush head assembly is rotatably connected to an end of the housing, and a functional element is arranged on a side of the brush head assembly; a movable disk is arranged on another side of the brush head assembly, and the movable disk has a mating area offset from a center of the brush head assembly. The transmission rod is arranged in the housing and has an input end and an output end; the input end is configured to be connected to a transmission mechanism, and the output end is matched with the mating area; in condition of the output end moving with a variable diameter relative to a center of the movable disk, the output end drives the mating area and the brush head assembly to rotate.
ORAL CARE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ORAL CARE DEVICE
Embodiments of this specification provide an oral care device and a method for controlling the oral care device. The oral care device includes a main unit, which includes a fluid reservoir, a power component, and a control component. The power component is electrically connected to the control component, and the power component is in fluid communication with a fluid reservoir, and the power component includes an electric motor. The control component is configured to obtain a current voltage value of the electric motor, compare the current voltage value with a preset voltage value of the electric motor in a current operating mode to obtain a comparison result, adjust a current duty cycle according to the comparison result, and carry out voltage control on the oral care device by adjusting the current duty cycle.
ORAL NURSING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD
Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of oral nursing technologies, and disclose an oral nursing device, a control method, an electronic device, and a storage medium, which can effectively improve a tooth cleaning effect. A control assembly can drive an output shaft of an actuation assembly to output a cleaning motion by outputting a driving signal, so as to drive a cleaning unit to vibrate at a high speed, thereby cleaning teeth. Meanwhile, in one cleaning motion, the output shaft rotates by a certain angle in a first direction or a second direction.
Personal care device
A personal care device, such as an electric toothbrush, has a handle having a longitudinal axis and a treatment head connected to a carrier. The carrier extends within the handle and is mounted at the handle for pivoting motion around a pivot axis against a restoring spring force. A drive unit, such as a linear actuator, is mounted on the carrier, and at least one electrical connector is arranged between the handle and the carrier to convey electrical energy from an energy source fixedly mounted with respect to the handle to the drive unit. The electrical connector can be realized as an elastic metal sheet element having a spring constant for providing at least a part of the restoring spring force.
