ADJUSTABLE ALL-SUTURE ANCHORING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A method and system for secure attachment of tissue to bone and other anatomical structure is disclosed. The system includes an all-suture anchor assembly including an all-suture anchor having at least one suture strand and an all-suture anchoring element threaded along the suture strand. The system also includes an adjustable self-locking device including a length of suture passing through at least one clinching portion.
Method and apparatus for coupling soft tissue to a bone
A method and apparatus for coupling a soft tissue implant into a locking cavity formed within a bone is disclosed. The apparatus includes a member to pull the soft tissue implant into a femoral tunnel. The member includes a suture having first and second ends which are passed through first and second openings associated with the longitudinal passage to form a pair of loops. A collapsible tube is positioned about the suture Application of tension onto the suture construction causes retraction of the soft tissue implant into the femoral tunnel and the collapse of the tube to form an anchor.
Point-loading knotless fixation devices
Surgical constructs and methods for soft tissue to bone repairs, without knot tying. The soft tissue repair constructs include a fixation device, a flexible strand, and a shuttle/pull device attached to the flexible strand and provided within the body of the fixation device. A splice is formed by pulling on the shuttle/pull device to allow desired tensioning of soft tissue to be fixated or repaired relative to the bone.
TENSIONABLE AND LOCKABLE MICRO SUTURE ANCHORS AND ANCHOR ARRAYS FOR ANATOMICAL ATTACHMENT OF SOFT TISSUE TO BONE
A toggle-type suture anchor that incorporates individual suture tensioning and locking without knot tying. The anchor includes an elongate toggle body having a working suture pre-threaded into a first passage and back up and out a second passage with a length running longitudinally adjacent the side of the anchor. A locking suture loop is pre-threaded into a third passage between the first and second passage and includes a collapsible loop that encircles a portion of the length of suture running longitudinally adjacent the side of the anchor. With the loop open, the working suture can slide through the anchor, however, when the loop is closed the working suture is locked in position to retain tension on the working suture. The anchor can be utilized in a pre-strung connected array of anchors.
TENSIONABLE AND LOCKABLE MICRO SUTURE ANCHORS AND ANCHOR ARRAYS FOR ANATOMICAL ATTACHMENT OF SOFT TISSUE TO BONE

KNOTLESS MICRO-SUTURE ANCHORS AND ANCHOR ARRAYS FOR ANATOMICAL ATTACHMENT OF SOFT TISSUE TO BONE
A toggle-type suture anchor for transtendinous implantation in bone to secure soft tissue thereto during repair of a tear, especially a rotator cuff repair. The anchor can include an elongate body with side surfaces defining a maximum diameter of the body. The body can also include proximal, middle and distal bores extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, each bore located at spaced intervals along the elongate body with a single suture passing into the proximal bore top surface and out the bottom surface, then back up through the distal bore bottom surface out the top surface leaving a length of suture extending past the middle bore bottom surface. To assure toggling in transtendinous delivery into bone, the elongate body can include a pair of fins extending both proximally and radially outward from the elongate body to prevent back out once placed in a bone hole.
CARTRIDGE DEVICE FOR SUTURE ANCHOR AND SUTURE MANAGEMENT DURING IMPLANTATION OF A MICRO SUTURE ANCHOR ARRAY
Cartridges configured to hold anchors and associated locking sutures and a common suture used in an array of anchors. A suture anchor array is connected in series by a single working suture and each of the suture anchors allows tensioning of the working suture between itself and the prior anchor implanted in the serial string. Further, each anchor includes a suture lock having a free tail that can be pulled to lock the working suture in place subsequent to tensioning. This creates an independently tensioned suture bridge between each implanted suture anchor and the just previously implanted anchor. The cartridges are configured to securely hold an individual anchor and store the tail of the suture lock, while allowing flossing of anchors along the common suture.
DELIVERY DEVICE FOR IMPLANTING KNOTLESS MICRO-SUTURE ANCHORS AND ANCHOR ARRAYS FOR ATTACHMENT OF SOFT TISSUE TO BONE
A delivery device for transtendinous implantation of a toggle-type suture anchor into bone is disclosed. The device includes a proximal housing having an outer tubular shaft extending distally with a lumen therethrough. An anchor delivery tube extends through the lumen of the outer tubular shaft having a proximal end affixed to the proximal housing. The anchor delivery tube includes a nub portion that is used to insert through the tendon and partly into bone to maintain registration with a bone hole into which an anchor is placed. A bone punch assembly extends through the lumen of the anchor delivery tube and the nub portion with a pointed distal end. When the bone punch is fully inserted, the pointed distal end extends a distance distal of the distal end of the nub portion.
Devices, systems, and methods for repairing soft tissue and attaching soft tissue to bone
Devices, systems and/or methods for repairing soft tissue adjacent a repair site. In one embodiment, a repair device includes a plate member and an anchor. The plate member having a periphery, the plate member configured to be positioned along an outer surface of the soft tissue. The anchor includes a base and six legs extending from the base, the six legs extending from the base being moveable to a curled configuration such that the six legs wrap around separate portions of the periphery of the plate member with the soft tissue therebetween. In this manner, the repair device may be anchored to the soft tissue.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR REPAIRING SOFT TISSUE AND ATTACHING SOFT TISSUE TO BONE
Devices, systems and/or methods for repairing soft tissue adjacent a repair site. In one embodiment, a repair device is delivered with a delivery device system configured to move a cartridge with the repair device disposed therein toward an anvil with soft tissue positioned thereon. The delivery device linearly moves the cartridge toward the anvil with a worm drive positioned within a housing by rotating a thumb wheel disposed around the worm drive. Such linear movement is provided with a finger element extending from the worm drive that is configured to cooperate with an internal surface of the thumb wheel. With this arrangement, upon rotating the thumb wheel, the worm drive rotates with the finger element engaged with the internal surface of the thumb wheel to linearly move the cartridge toward the anvil.
