Tibial Component for a Knee Endoprosthesis with Two PE Liners

The invention relates to a tibial component (1) of a knee endoprosthesis for anchoring on the proximal tibia, comprising a tibial plateau (2), a tibial shaft (3) on the underside of the tibial plateau (2) facing the tibia, and having a liner (4) for receiving and supporting the lateral condyle surface of a femoral part.

To allow different heights and shapes of the liner to be provided medially and laterally, and to ensure that just one individual liner can be exchanged in the event of revision and, for this purpose, a minimally invasive intervention (operation) is sufficient, it is suggested according to the invention that the tibial component (1) has one liner or preferably two liners (4a, 4b) embodied as individual parts, which liner or liners is/are exchangeably anchored on the tibial component (1).

An intervertebral implant comprising a core member operably coupled between an upper base member and a lower base member, and a core spacer positioned within an inner cavity of the core member. An outer cavity extends between the core member upper end and lower end, and radially between the inner cavity and an outer surface of the core member. A core member inner wall is formed between the inner cavity and the outer cavity, and a core member outer wall is formed between the outer cavity and the outer surface of the core member. At least one first locking member is positioned on at least one of the core member upper end and the core member lower end and at least one second locking member is positioned on an inner surface of at least one of the upper base member and the lower base member for locking engagement.

METHOD FOR CO-PROCESSING COMPONENTS IN A METAL INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS, AND COMPONENTS MADE VIA THE SAME

Described herein is a method comprising molding a first component from a first feedstock comprising a first material powder and a first binder, molding a second component from a second feedstock comprising a second material powder and a second binder, placing the first component and the second component in physical communication with each other in order to form an assembled component, removing the first binder and the second binder from the assembled component and performing a sintering operation on the assembled component so as to bond the first component and the second component together.

KNEE-JOINT ENDOPROSTHESIS

A knee-joint endoprosthesis includes a tibia component for proximal fixation to a tibia. The tibia component has a form-fitting section arranged on an upper face. The endoprosthesis also has a meniscus component configured to articulate with a femoral joint component. The meniscus component has a complementary form-fitting section arranged on a lower face. The tibia component and the meniscus component are joined together by a form-fitting connection formed between the form-fitting section and the complementary form-fitting section. At least one reinforcement element is inserted into the meniscus component and is configured to mechanically reinforce the form-fitting joint connection. The reinforcing element is arranged in the region of the complementary form-fitting section.

MESH SPACER HYBRID

A method of placing an implant for intervertebral fusion between adjacent vertebral bodies in a patient includes inserting the implant in a space between the adjacent vertebral bodies such that both a first intervertebral spacer body and a second intervertebral spacer body contact each of the adjacent vertebral bodies. The first intervertebral spacer body is spaced apart from the second intervertebral spacer body. An expandable container portion of the implant disposed between the first intervertebral spacer body and the second intervertebral spacer body is filled with fill material such that the expandable container expands to contact each of the adjacent vertebral bodies.

Interbody Spinal Fusion Implant Having Locking Elements that Outwardly Displace for Locking

An interbody spinal fusion implant includes a body and a faceplate secured to the body. A recess is formed on a front face of the faceplate and is at least partially bounded by an interior surface. A first screw hole and a spaced apart first locking hole pass through the faceplate from interior surface of the recess. A first locking screw has a shaft threaded into the first locking hole. The first locking screw blocks removal of a bone screw from within the first screw hole when the locking screw is in a retracted position.

An interbody spinal fusion implant includes a tapered body and a faceplate secured to the tapered body. The faceplate has a recess formed on a front face of the faceplate that is at least partially bounded by an interior surface. A first screw hole and a spaced apart first locking slot pass through the faceplate, the first locking slot having an elongated width. A first locking screw has a head and a threaded shaft, the threaded shaft passing through the first locking slot and being sized so that the threaded shaft can slide laterally along a length of the elongated width of the first locking slot. A first nut is disposed between the tapered body and the faceplate, the shaft of the first locking screw being threadedly engaged with the first nut.

Annuloplasty Implant

An annuloplasty implant comprises a plurality of individual wires, each extending in a longitudinal direction of the implant between first and second opposite ends of the implant. A locking unit arranged at at least one of the ends comprises a locking structure connected to the plurality of individual wires, thereby collecting said plurality of individual wires together at at least one of the ends. The locking structure is configured to allow a relative movement between at least two of the plurality of individual wires inside the locking structure.
