Implant With Deployable Blades
20220133494 · 2022-05-05 ·

An implant may include a body having a first blade having a first retracted position in the body and a first extended position where the first blade extends outwardly from the body, a second extendable blade, and a blade actuating member configured to translate through the body in directions parallel to the lateral axis. When the blade actuating member is moved in a first direction along the lateral axis, the first blade moves towards the first extended position; and in the first extended position, the first blade extends from the superior surface at a first non-zero angle with respect to the superior-inferior axis; and the second blade moves towards a second extended position in which the second blade extends from the inferior surface at a second non-zero angle with respect to the superior-inferior axis.

EXPANDABLE INTER-BODY DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD

The present disclosure provides for spinal implants deployable between a contracted position and an expanded position. The spinal implant may include an anterior endplate, a superior endplate, and an inferior endplate operably coupled to a moving mechanism. The first endplate and a second endplate each include at least one bone screw relief. The moving mechanism may include first and second trolleys configured to act against corresponding ramps. The moving mechanism may further include a first set screw and a second set screw opposite the first set screw configured to operably adjust a spacing between the first and second endplates upon simultaneous rotation of the first and second set screws along a rotation axis, and may also operably adjust an angle of inclination between the first and second endplates upon rotating either one of the first set screw and second set screw along the rotation axis.

Implant having enhanced initial fixation force

The present invention provides an implant having an enhanced initial fixation force, and more particularly, to an implant that may maintain a fixed state without relative movement with respect to vertebral bodies until fusion is completely performed. The implant includes: an implant body inserted between vertebral bodies; and an injection unit installed in the implant body, and configured to inject bone cement into the vertebral bodies.

MAMMALIAN BONY IMPLANT AND ANCHORS INSERTER SYSTEM

Embodiments of the present invention provides systems and methods for deploying implants and anchors to treat one or more bony segments. A system may enable a User to insert an implant between adjacent bony segments and advance one or more bony anchors thereafter via the same system. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

EXPANDABLE INTERVERTEBRAL FUSION IMPLANT

An allograft implant for fusing a sacroiliac joint, the allograft implant having a body with two opposing faces. A graft window is disposed between the two opposing faces, the graft window providing passage through the body between the two opposing faces. A portion of the body located between the graft window and each of the sides defines a wall such that the wall maintains a minimum thickness in a range of about 17% to about 20% of the width of the body.

SMALL BONE ANGLED COMPRESSION SCREW
20220117747 · 2022-04-21 ·

The present invention relates to a device and system for surgical fixation of small bones, small bone fragments, and osteotomies and more particularly to compression screw having a threaded leading portion which is joined to a section that is free from threads, and which includes an angle or from 12° to 25° in a plane through the longitudinal axis of the screw and a portion which is joined to a head having a configuration that is intended to provide anti-rotational stability and compression through the device.

Various embodiments of a coupler and an intradiscal implant for alignment and fusion of the sacroiliac joint are described herein.

Intervertebral body fusion device expanded with hardening material

An expandable, intervertebral spacer includes a top component and a base component in engagement with the top component, the base component defining at least one channel for receiving a hardening material, and placement of the hardening material within the channel causes the top component to move between a first position in which the top component is a first distance from the base component and a second position in which the top component is a second distance from the base component, the second distance being greater than the first distance. The hardening material can be removed from the channel by a flexible coring tool, and the top component forced toward the base component to collapse the spacer.
