Illuminating tweezers
An illuminating tweezers for grasping and manipulating small articles includes a single light emitting diode (LED) and powering battery located in an upper centrally-located barrel end of a monolithic body made of a light transmissive polymer. A beam-splitter lens molded into the body splits a single beam of light emitted by the LED into a pair of beams which are directed into upper ends of a pair of elastically bendable arms that depend downwardly from opposed longitudinal sides of the barrel. The pair of light beams are conducted downwardly through the arms by total internal reflection, and reflected downwardly and inwardly towards an illumination region located between lower ends of the arms by downwardly and inwardly oriented oblique end faces at lower ends of the arms.
Hinged Forceps with Finger Grips
Hinged forceps which aid in grasping and moving various objects such as food items or tools. The hinged forceps generally include a plurality of arms which are interconnected by a hinge such that each of the arms may independently pivot with respect to the hinge. Each of the arms may include one or more finger grips which may be positioned at various locations along the length of each arm; the finger grips being adapted to support one or more fingers of the user. The hinge interconnecting the arms may allow uninhibited movement of one arm relative to the other arm. Each arm may be adjustable to spread or contract with respect to the other arms such that the effective distance between arms may be adjusted. The finger grips may be adjustably mounted on an arm such that they are capable of rotating in position and/or being repositioned on the arm.
Eyelash Application System
A single folding case that defines two recesses and retains all additional component parts for storage and transport. A first recess of the case is used to retain a mirror on the inner recess surface and provide a recess area for retained other internal component parts. The second recess retaining an applicator/tweezer like eyelash installation tool and rectangular drawer, and a semi-circular recess for retaining two semi-circular eyelash trays. The applicator/tweezer has a rounded proximal end and a two-pronged distal end. In use, a user would take the applicator/tweezer and secure both of the prongs located on the distal end and engage them with the eyelash cartridge. Once the applicator has eyelash cartridges attached, as user would then proceed to press the eyelash on at the desired location. The eyelash would then remain and be retained to the face by glue.
Hair cutting device
A hair cutting device (10) comprises a first arm (12) having (i) a first arm proximal end (20), (ii) a first arm distal end (22), (iii) a first arm connected section (24), (iv) a first arm diverging section (26), (v) a first arm converging section (28), (vi) a cutting surface (52), and (vii) a first arm width (12W); and an opposed second arm (14) having (i) a second arm proximal end (38), (ii) a second arm distal end (40), (iii) a second arm connected section (42), (iv) a second arm diverging section (44), (v) a second arm converging section (46), (vi) a cutting blade (54), and (vii) a second arm width (14W). The second arm width (14W) is narrower than the first arm width (12W) through a substantial entirety of the second arm converging section (46) and the first arm converging section (28).
APPLICATOR FOR ARTIFICIAL LASH EXTENSIONS
Cases can be used to house sets of artificial lashes in a specified arrangement. For example, lash fusions may be placed within multiple predefined indentations in the shape of an eyelid. Applicators can be used to resiliently grasp all of the lash fusions in a set of lash extensions, and then simultaneously apply the entire set of lash extensions directly to the underside of the natural lashes. An applicator includes opposed arms that are connected to one another at an inner end designed to be gripped by an individual. The applicator can also include an outer end having a concave shape that is contoured to be substantially flush with the convex shape of the lash line and the predefined indentations of a case that includes the set of lash extensions.

Securable Grooming Tool
A securable grooming tool that can be secured to a user's body. The grooming tool can include any of various grooming tools such as tweezers, eyelash curlers, scissors, nail files, brushes, and the like. The tool further includes a body securement device that can be secured to a user's body, such as the user's hand, wrist, or fingers. The body securement device preferably includes a cuff that can be disposed around a user's finger. The body securement device is connected to the grooming tool via an elongated tether. In this way, if the user drops the grooming tool while using the same, the grooming tool is prevented from falling to the ground due to the connection of the grooming tool to the body securement device.
Medical instrument
A medical instrument effectively suppresses a situation in which the edge of a blade springs immediately after completion of incision, excision, or the like. The medical instrument (1) includes manipulation members (14) that are held by a user, elastic members (11) that are respectively secured on one end of the manipulation members, and intersect each other at one end thereof, and opening-closing members (15) that are respectively secured on the other end of the manipulation members (14), and intersect each other at a pivot (13), functional parts (15a) for implementing a gripping operation, a holding operation, a cutting operation, or the like being respectively provided at one end of the opening-closing members (15), the functional parts (15a) being opened and closed by adjusting a pressing force applied to the manipulation members (14), the opening-closing members (15), the manipulation members (14), and the elastic members (11) being configured so that the pressing force applied to the manipulation members (14) and an opening-closing amount of the functional parts (15a) have a linear proportional relationship during a period in which the functional parts (15a) are operated.
TOPICAL COMPOSITIONS TO REDUCE HAIR GROWTH
This document relates to materials and methods for topical administration of sulfonylureas to inhibit, reduce, or prevent hair growth the topical composition being formulated for application to the skin of a mammal. The materials and methods of the disclosure may be used to inhibit, reduce, or prevent any unwanted hair growth including normal growth, and excessive hair growth.
Depilation device
A depilation device operative to tweeze hairs from a narrow, selected area on a skin surface, continuously. Relatively short hairs may be tweezed. Additionally, relatively rapid and painless tweezing is provided. The depilation device is ergonomically designed for easy and effective hair tweezing.
