APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HEATING DEPILATORY WAX
An apparatus for heating depilatory wax includes a reservoir and a collar, the reservoir formed of a resilient, heat resistant material. The reservoir is dimensioned to be received by a heating chamber of a wax warmer. The collar has a lip sized to extend outwardly from a top opening of the reservoir, to catch wax which may otherwise drip between the reservoir and warmer. The reservoir may be flattened for shipment or storage, and may be trimmed to accommodate many sizes of wax warmers. In embodiments, the reservoir and collar are nonstick and may be readily cleaned and reused. In embodiments, the reservoir and collar are formed of silicone. A method of distributing a hair removal kit includes packaging soft wax in bags, flattening and packaging reservoirs and collars, and shipping the kit to a user in an environmentally friendly and cost efficient manner.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
A device such as an electric shaver, comprising a working head attached to a handle for moving the working head along a skin surface, said, wherein said at least one working tool is movable relative to said handle under a skin contact pressure by means of a support structure to allow for pivoting of the working head's skin contact contour relative to the handle, wherein a biasing device is provided for biasing said working tool.
HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE AND IRRADIATION POSITION CORRECTION METHOD
A hair removal device that performs hair removal treatment using light emitted from a light source, the hair removal device including: a light source unit including the light source; an irradiation position control mechanism configured to guide the light emitted from the light source unit to an irradiation scheduled position; an imaging unit configured to be able to image a predetermined region including the light emitted toward the irradiation scheduled position; and an irradiation position deviation amount detection unit configured to detect an irradiation position deviation amount between the irradiation scheduled position and a real irradiation position of the light, the hair removal device being configured to correct a guide position of the light by the irradiation position control mechanism by using the irradiation position deviation amount detected by the irradiation position deviation amount detection unit.
Shaver with light source
The present invention is concerned with an electrically operable shaver with an elongate shaver housing defining a longitudinal axis (I), at least one short-hair cutter unit, at least one long-hair trimmer unit disposed on the shaver housing and at least one light source. The at least one light source is movable substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis (I) between a retracted position and an extended position.
Illuminating tweezers
An illuminating tweezers for grasping and manipulating small articles includes a single light emitting diode (LED) and powering battery located in an upper centrally-located barrel end of a monolithic body made of a light transmissive polymer. A beam-splitter lens molded into the body splits a single beam of light emitted by the LED into a pair of beams which are directed into upper ends of a pair of elastically bendable arms that depend downwardly from opposed longitudinal sides of the barrel. The pair of light beams are conducted downwardly through the arms by total internal reflection, and reflected downwardly and inwardly towards an illumination region located between lower ends of the arms by downwardly and inwardly oriented oblique end faces at lower ends of the arms.
HANDHELD DEVICE FOR PERFORMING AN ACTION DEPENDENT ON AN ANGULAR POSITION OF THE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a handheld device (1) which is used for performing a treatment action while being moved along a treatment surface (4). The result of the treatment action is dependent on the angular position () in which the device (1) is being held relative to the treatment surface. An example of such a device is an epilator for removing hairs from a surface of the user's skin. The device comprises at least two light sources (5) arranged and adapted to each provide a delimited light spot (6) on the treatment surface or on an outer surface of the device when the device is in operation. The two or more light sources (5) are arranged so that the light spots (6) they provide are at least partially coincident when the device is held at an angular position relative to the treatment surface which is within a predetermined optimal range of angular positions for which the treatment action is optimal. The light spots are non-coincident when the device is held at an angular position outside said predetermined optimal range of angular positions. As a result, the user is provided with a visible indication of a correct angular position, which guides him or her towards an optimal use of the device.
HAIR REMOVING DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a hair removing device, including: a reflector; a light source; a light-transmitting body; a heat dissipation assembly, being connected to the light-transmitting body and configured to absorb heat from the light-transmitting body; a cold drive assembly, being configured to absorb external air, then blow into at least two cooling channels, and expel the air out of the hair removing device; cooling channels, comprising a first cooling channel and a second cooling channel; wherein at least one of the light source, the reflector is disposed in the first cooling channel, and at least part of the heat dissipation is disposed in the second cooling channel. Such that heat of the light source is dissipated uniformly, the service life of the light source is extended. Further, the improved heat dissipation performance allows the user to use the hair removing device more comfortably.
MTip Waxing Cosmetic Hygiene & Utility Tool
A Qtip shaped solid or cylinder like mold device with adhesive tip to remove or extract undesired hair or objects that may be used for medical, cosmetic, hygiene, and various utility purposes
Waxing System and Method
The disclosed principles provide an improved waxing system, apparatus, and related waxing methods, having a mechanical reaching attachment to be attached thereto, and thus provide additional reach and leverage for removing the waxing strip. In one embodiment, a waxing system comprises at least one waxing strip each comprising at least one waxing side and at least one attachment area located proximate an attachment end of each waxing strip. The at least one waxing side may be configured to receive waxing material thereon to remove body hair. The waxing system may also comprise at least one attachment device located in a corresponding at least one attachment area. In addition, the waxing system may comprise at least one removal device coupled to a corresponding at least one attachment device and configured for grasping by a user to remove the at least one waxing strip from a body during hair removal.
PERSONAL HYGIENE DEVICE WITH RESONANT MOTOR
A personal hygiene device has a resonant motor and a motor control unit for applying a periodic voltage signal with a driving frequency at the resonant motor for driving the resonant motor into an oscillating motion with an oscillating frequency equal to the driving frequency. The motor control unit comprises a synthesizer circuit for digitally synthesizing the periodic voltage signal from voltage pulses of variable length provided with a pulse frequency higher than the driving frequency such that at least two voltage pulses are applied at least in one of two half cycles of each period of the periodic voltage signal.
