The thread is configured to engage a bone, and the flange is configured to engage a cortical rim of the bone.

MODULAR STEMLESS IMPLANTS FOR ARTHROPLASTY IMPLANT SYSTEMS

Arthroplasty implant systems and methods are provided for restoring the functionality of a joint. The arthroplasty implant systems may include a modular threaded cup having a cylindrical shaped body and a flange that is removably connectable to the cylindrical shaped body. A thread may be provided on the cylindrical shaped body. The thread is configured to engage a cortical and/or cancellous bone of a bone, and the flange is sized to engage a cortical rim of the bone.

HUMERAL IMPLANT ANCHOR SYSTEM

A stemless humeral shoulder assembly having a base member and an anchor advanceable into the base member. The base member can include a distal end that can be embedded in bone and a proximal end that can be disposed at a bone surface. The base member can also have a plurality of spaced apart arms projecting from the proximal end to the distal end. The anchor can project circumferentially into the arms and into a space between the arms. When the anchor is advanced into the base member, the anchor can be exposed between the arms. A recess can project distally from a proximal end of the anchor to within the base member. The recess can receive a mounting member of an anatomical or reverse joint interface.

Punch, implant and associated method

A kit for use in performing joint arthroplasty on a head of a long bone is disclosed. The kit includes: a first implant including a first implant articulating surface and an opposed first implant mounting surface having a first implant location feature; and an instrument for preparing a cavity in the head of the long bone. The instrument includes a body and a punch extending from the body. The punch includes a portion thereof having a shape similar to the first implant location surface of the implant. A method for providing joint arthroplasty is also disclosed.

STEMLESS SHOULDER IMPLANT WITH FIXATION COMPONENTS

An implant assembly may include a first component having a proximal plate and a distal portion extending from the proximal plate, a first screw of a first type, and a first screw of a second type. The proximal plate may have a proximal face, a distal face configured to abut bone, and a periphery. The proximal plate may define a plurality of apertures. An opening may be defined by the proximal plate and extend through the distal portion. Each of the plurality of apertures may be disposed between the opening and the periphery. The first screw of the first type may be sized and configured to be received in the opening and engage bone. The first screw of the second type may be sized and configured to be received in at least one of the plurality of apertures.

ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR SHOULDER ARTHROPLASTY USING STEMLESS IMPLANT COMPONENTS

Robotic system and methods for preparing a bone of a joint to receive an implant. Virtual object(s) are used to define a volume of material to be removed from the bone for receipt of the implant. A robotic manipulator controls a cutting tool based on the virtual object(s) to form a first cavity and a second cavity in the bone. The second cavity is formed beneath the first cavity and is rotated relative to the first cavity to define an undercut in the bone. The first and second cavities receive a body and a locking member of the implant in an unlocked position. The locking member is rotated within the second cavity to a locked position whereby the undercut engages the locking member to limit withdrawal of the implant from the bone.

Humeral implant for a shoulder prosthesis

The invention discloses a support element for humeral implant comprising a central body extending along an axis and at least three arms extending outwardly from the central body, the arms being transversal to said axis and bearing a ring element at their ends opposite to said central body, wherein at least a first and a second pair of arms form different angles.
