A fingernail sleeve device for enwrapping both the finger and the elongated decorated fingernail includes an opening. The opening is circular and is coupled to a surface. The surface has a finger side and a nail side and enwraps the end of a finger. The nail side is positioned upon the fingernail of the finger, and the finger side is positioned against the skin. A cavity protrudes out from an end of the surface and has a downward curvature. An elongated decorated fingernail is nested within the cavity. The cavity defines an enclosed space for the fingernail. The cavity and the nail side of the surface have a hard material to protect the fingernail within the fingernail sleeve device. The soft material facilitates the application of the fingernail sleeve device to the finger.

A kit for decorating and styling nails or for supplying the substance to the nail plate comprises a foil placed on a base layer, wherein the foil optionally, on one arbitrary surface, has an decorative or single-colour overprint made directly on this surface and a self-adhesive coating on the internal side. The foil together with the self-adhesive coating and the base layer has at least eight different protrusions forming permanently formed flexible three-dimensional nail stickers, formed together with the base layer on the matrix, wherein the protrusions mirror the anatomic nail shape and moreover the foil layer together with the self-adhesive coating is cut around the perimeter of each of the protrusions. There is also disclosed a three-dimensional nail sticker for decorating and styling nails or for supplying the substance to the nail plate.

A nail protection strip set may be made of many nail protection strips. The strips may protect the user's nails from damage when in contact with the adhesive used with artificial nails. The strips may also provide a buffer between artificial nails and the natural oils secreted by the user's nails, helping the artificial nails to last longer. The strips may be made of transparent film dressing, transparent matte stickers, and/or other similar materials. Other embodiments of the nail protection strip may also have a decorative artificial nail attached. Further embodiments of the nail protection strip set may provide a clip.

A kit for decorating and styling nails or for supplying the substance to the nail plate comprises a foil placed on a base layer, wherein the foil optionally, on one arbitrary surface, has an decorative or single-colour overprint made directly on this surface and a self-adhesive coating on the internal side. The foil together with the self-adhesive coating and the base layer has at least eight different protrusions forming permanently formed flexible three-dimensional nail stickers, formed together with the base layer on the matrix, wherein the protrusions mirror the anatomic nail shape and moreover the foil layer together with the self-adhesive coating is cut around the perimeter of each of the protrusions. There is also disclosed a three-dimensional nail sticker for decorating and styling nails or for supplying the substance to the nail plate.

An apparatus for applying a decal to a nail of a human includes a housing having a cartridge recess, a cartridge that includes a supply spool around which a tape is at least partially wound, the tape having at least one decal that is transferrable to a nail of a human digit, and a take-up spool that includes a tape grip that holds an end of the tape, wherein the cartridge is removably mountable in the cartridge recess, an actuator coupled to the housing and moveable between an unactuated position and an actuated position, a tape advancement arrangement and a decal actuation surface are provided. The tape advancement arrangement coupled to the actuator and arranged to rotate the take-up spool to extend the tape from the supply spool during movement of the actuator between the unactuated position and the actuated position.

An apparatus, kit, and method for applying a decal to a nail of a human digit are provided. A base coat of base nail polish is applied to a nail. The base coat has a tacky surface when dry. A decal application product is pressed against the tacky surface of the base coat, and includes a substrate and at least one decal adhered thereto. The at least one decal and the substrate have a first adhesion coefficient therebetween. The at least one decal and the tacky surface have a second adhesion coefficient that is greater than the first adhesion coefficient to cause a subset of the at least one decal to adhere to the base coat. A top coat of a top nail polish is applied atop of the base coat and the subset of the at least one decal to seal the subset of the at least one decal and the base coat.

A method for preparing a nail art includes: applying a pressure to a laminate including a pre-substrate layer and a pre-coating layer by a mold to form a nail art including a substrate layer and a coating layer from the laminate, wherein when the pressure is applied, a temperature of the mold is 60° C. to 160° C., and the pressure is applied at 6 MPa to 12 MPa.

Provided are a nail art including: a substrate layer and a coating layer positioned on the substrate layer, wherein the coating layer includes a UV-curable raw material, a photoinitiator, and a resin, and the following Equation 1 is satisfied, and a method for preparing the same:

0.05 mm<T.sub.2−T.sub.1<0.6 mm  [Equation 1] wherein T.sub.1 is a thickness of the nail art measured in an outer periphery of the nail art, and T.sub.2 is a thickness of the nail art at a point of 1 mm away from the outer periphery of the nail art toward a center of the nail art.

An adhesive for a nail art includes: a UV-curable raw material, a photoinitiator, and a resin, wherein 6 wt % to 30 wt % of the UV-curable raw material, 1 wt % to 10 wt % of the photoinitiator, and 65 wt % to 85 wt % of the resin are included in the adhesive for a nail art.

The article for decorating a person's skin, lips or nail comprises a decorative element to be transferred by means of a fixing agent comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive polymer and a solvent. The article comprises: a decorative layer to be transferred, the decorative layer comprising the decorative element, the decorative layer having a first external surface and a second external surface; a support film of the decorative layer, said support film being removably fixed to the first external surface of said decorative layer; and a base layer forming a barrier for limiting migration of the pressure-sensitive adhesive polymer, the base layer being resistant to the solvent.
