Method of applying makeup to a surface and a kit for implementing such a method
A method of applying makeup to a surface, such as the skin, the nails, hair, or the lips, is disclosed. The method includes manually depositing, using a non-magnetic cosmetic applicator, at least a first cosmetic composition in the fluid state on the surface, the first composition containing magnetic particles that are movable under the effect of a magnetic field; and manually exposing at least part of the first composition to a magnetic device producing a magnetic field, the magnetic device located above the first composition so as to orientate and/or displace at least a fraction of the magnetic particles so as to form at least one pattern according to magnetic field lines of the magnetic field without making contact with the first composition.
Method of applying makeup by means of a magnetic composition including at least one interferential pigment
The present invention relates to a method of applying makeup to keratinous substances, in particular the skin, the lips, the nails, or hair, the method comprising the following steps: depositing at least one cosmetic composition on the surface to be made up, the cosmetic composition comprising: bodies that present non-zero magnetic susceptibility and that are movable under the effect of a magnetic field; and at least one interferential pigment; and exposing at least part of the composition to a magnetic field, so as to modify the orientation and/or displace at least some of the magnetic bodies.
Protective Mat
A protective mat is provided which may protect surfaces such as a table top from contact, penetration, or damage from objects or substances such as nail polish and acetone. A protective mat may have raised edge around the periphery to keep spilled liquid from flowing out the mat. A protective mat may contain shapes with raised ridges and recessed middle to act as a well for example in mixing various colors. A protective mat may contain other various shapes for the user to try out various nail art decals or use as a palette for example. A protective mat may contain a ruler and grid to assist a user in designing a nail art decal for example.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PERSONALIZED COSMETIC ARTICLES, ESPECIALLY FALSE NAILS, AND ARTICLES THUS PRODUCED
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an article to be applied to the human body, comprising the following steps: digital acquisition of 3D contour data from the region on which the article needs to be applied; producing a mould using the 3D data and a numerical-control manufacturing machine; applying to the mould a coating intended to form the article; and at least partially cutting out the coating to the format of the article.
Device for nail painting
The present invention relates to a device for the painting of nails, during the work of nail painting it is sought that paint covers homogeneously the surface of the nails. Often when performing such work, the professional manicurist must be very careful that the paint brush does not stain the skin around the nail as the work must reflect an aesthetic quality. The nail manicuring device is characterized in that it comprises: a first left outer piece (1); a second right outer piece (2); a third outer piece (3); a watch strap spring bolt (4); a pair of springs, wherein said pair of springs comprises a first spring (5) and a second spring (6), wherein the first left outer piece (1) is joined to the second right outer piece (2) and both are joined to the third outer piece (3) by means of the watch strap bolt (4), the springs (5) (6) attach to the third outer piece (3) allowing the pieces (1) (2) to function as a clamp which pulls the nail paronychium to perform the manicure work.
MASKING APPARATUS FOR SHIELDING A FINGER
A masking apparatus for shielding a finger of a user is provided herein. The masking apparatus is structure to shield the finger of the user when a product is being applied to a fingernail on the finger of the user. The masking apparatus includes a base for supporting the finger of the user, and a cover member that is connected to the base and is made from an elastic material so as to be elastically stretchable. The underside of the cover member has a selected coefficient of friction to engage the finger of the user around the fingernail to protect the portion of the finger of the user around the fingernail. The masking apparatus can be repositioned between loading and use positions so that the cover member is cleanly separated from the finger of the user to prevent smudging of the product on the fingernail by the cover member.
Method for nail manicuring
A nail manicure method comprising applying a protective coating to portions of the surface of a finger or toe nail or a cuticle adjacent thereto where the application of nail polish is not desired, optionally manipulating the protective coating into a desired shape, and applying nail polish to regions not covered by the protective coating. Once the nail polish has at least partially dried, the protective coating is removed to reveal an underlying area with defined regions of nail polish.
Cutting device, cutting method, and storage medium
A cutting device including: a cutting blade; a tape setting stage on which a tape member is to be mounted; and at least one processor. In producing a masking tape by cutting out a pattern selected by a user from the tape member mounted on the tape setting stage with the cutting blade, the at least one processor detects a region of a nail based on an image of a fingertip acquired with a camera, and adjusts a position at which the pattern is to be cut out such that the pattern is located within a region to be applied to the region of the nail having been detected.
Manicure Device
A manicure device including a base having a palm rest, digit rests, fingertip rests and nail rests. Each nail rest includes a nail support having a three-dimensional concavity including a vertical curve for receiving a front curve of a user's nail and a horizontal curve for receiving a top curve of a user's nail. The nail support can further include a pair of lateral nail coating shields extending from the three-dimensional concavity, whereby the three-dimensional concavity and the pair of nail coating shields substantially isolate a user's nail plate. The device may also include a nail coating composition bottle holder for adjustably positioning a nail coating composition bottle. Additionally, the device may include supports provided along a juncture of an upper surface of the base and walls of the base for comfortably yet stably supporting a user's hand that is doing the polishing for optimum precision while polishing.
