Prosthesis Device
A prosthesis device having a tension element, fastened to a tensile force brace, which drives a movable component of a prosthesis device upon applying a tension force, wherein a sensor device is allocated to the tension element which detects the actuation of the tension element and activates a motor allocated to the movable component.
Wrist device for a prosthetic limb
A wrist device for a prosthetic limb is provided. The device (1) comprises a base member (3) connectable to the wearer of the device, and a support member (13) connectable to the limb. The support member (13) is pivotably connected to the base member (3) such that the support member can pivot about a pivot axis (A) relative to the base member. A damping mechanism is located between the base (3) member and the support member (5). The damping mechanism comprises a pinion (47) connected to the support member (5) and rotatable about the pivot axis (A) relative to the base member (3). A rack (35) is engaged with the pinion (47) such that rotational motion of the pinion causes a linear motion of the rack, and at least one biasing member (41) extends between the base member (3) and the rack. The biasing member (41) biases the rack (35) and support member (13) into a neutral position. A prosthetic limb incorporating the wrist device is also provided.
Grasping mechanism, robot and grasping device
A grasping mechanism includes a base and at least two linkage grasping assemblies. Each linkage grasping assembly includes a grasping member, a first rod and a second rod. The grasping member includes a grasping portion and a connecting portion. The first rod has a first end rotatably connected to the connecting portion and a second end rotatably connected to the base. The second rod has a first end rotatably connected to the connecting portion and a second end rotatably connected to the base.
PROSTHETIC HOOK ADAPTER FOR SPORTING EQUIPMENT
A prosthetic adaptor includes a post plate, a grip plate coupled to the post plate, and an equipment interface coupled to the post plate. The equipment interface can be coupled to the post plate at an end of the post plate distal from the grip plate. The post plate can include a concave surface. The concave surface can be configured to receive a Hosmer-like prosthetic hook.
HAND PROSTHESIS
The invention relates to a hand prosthesis that can be adapted at the forearm or wrist. The prosthesis including a mechanical design with a smaller number of parts than the prior art, thus facilitating the assembly, maintenance and production thereof. Likewise, the prosthesis includes a plurality of motion transmission systems in a housing similar to the volume of a biological hand and provides sufficient grip strength to reincorporate the user into everyday activities. The invention includes an adult hand prosthesis, a child hand prosthesis and a wrist that allows the user to hold heavy loads while moving around.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR ROBOTIC DEVICE AND METHODS OF USING THEREOF
A robotic assembly control system is disclosed. The robotic assembly control system includes an exoskeleton apparatus adapted to be worn by a user, at least one robotic assembly, the at least one robotic assembly controlled by the user by way of the exoskeleton, and at least one mobile platform, the at least one mobile platform controlled by the user and wherein the at least one robotic assembly is attached to the at least one mobile platform.
BELOW-ELBOW PROSTHETIC ARM ASSEMBLY
A below-elbow prosthetic arm assembly includes a hand; an arm connected to the hand; a cylinder connected to the arm; and a string connected to the rear end of the cylinder. To start using the prosthetic arm, the user's amputated upper limb is enclosed by the cylinder and tied thereto with a string. The below-elbow prosthetic arm assembly further includes an expansion kit adapted to meet the user's needs in daily lives, learning and sports. The expansion kit is directly fitted to the hand. Function expansion is achieved without removing the hand. Therefore, the below-elbow prosthetic arm exhibits enhanced ease of use and minimizes the user's financial burdens which might otherwise arise from ordering customized prosthetic arms for use in different activities.
SPRINGS WITH STRAIN FEEDBACK
Springs can provide energy return and have a conductivity that changes in relation to an amount of strain or deformation of the spring. In some embodiments, the springs are made by multi-material 3D printing (additive manufacturing). Such springs made by multi-material 3D printing may include a first material that is electrically non-conductive and a second material that electrically conductive. The extent of deformation or strain of the spring may be determined or estimated by measuring the conductivity or resistivity of the electrically conductive material portion of the spring.
Multifunctional tooling apparatus with non-anthropomorphic construction
A prosthesis may include a fitted stump cover. The prosthesis may also include a socket fitted over the stump cover. The prosthesis may further include a ball attached to the socket. In addition, the prosthesis may include a shuttle locking mechanism attached in part to the ball. Further, the prosthesis may include a tool attached to the prosthesis by the shuttle locking mechanism.
GRASPING MECHANISM, ROBOT AND GRASPING DEVICE
A grasping mechanism is provided. The grasping mechanism includes a base and at least two linkage grasping assemblies. The length of a first connecting line between rotation centers of two ends of the first rod is constantly different from the length of a second connecting line between rotation centers of two ends of the second rod, or the length of the first connecting line is different from the length of the second connecting line in a certain operation state.
