Pivot-flex foot
A prosthetic device is provided including (a) an ankle component, (b) a foot component coupled to the ankle component, wherein the foot component has a longitudinal length extending at least partially along a sagittal plane of a user when the prosthetic device is in use, wherein the foot component has a thickness extending at least partially along a transverse plane of a user when the prosthetic device is in use, and (c) a coupling mechanism positioned between the foot component and the ankle component, wherein the coupling mechanism couples a rotation of the foot component with respect to the sagittal plane to a rotation of the foot component with respect to the transverse plane.
SOLE OF ATHLETIC PROSTHETIC LEG
In a sole which is attached to a ground contact region of an athletic prosthetic leg which has a leaf-spring-like leg portion extending to a side of a toe via at least one curved portion, the ground contact region extending from the toe to a side of the curved portion in an arc, the sole includes a bottom surface having a shape conforming to an extending shape of the ground contact region, and, in the bottom surface, a region at the side of the curved portion, which is defined by a border as a line extending in a width direction of the leg portion through a contact point with a road surface in a standing state of a wearer who wears the athletic prosthetic leg, has a higher drainage performance compared with a region other than the region at the side of the curved portion.
SOLE OF ATHLETIC PROSTHETIC LEG
A sole of an athletic prosthetic leg, wherein the sole is attached to a ground contact region of the athletic prosthetic leg which has a leaf-spring-like leg portion extending to a side of a toe via at least one curved portion, the ground contact region extending from the toe to a side of the curved portion in an arc, wherein the sole includes a bottom surface having a shape conforming to an extending shape of the ground contact region, and the bottom surface includes at least one sipe linearly extending at a portion which continues at a constant radius of curvature from the toe, and the sipe terminates in the bottom surface.
Adjustable stiffness prosthetic foot
A foot prosthesis that includes at least one spring element, an attachment member, and a heel member. The at least one spring element has a toe end portion, a heel end portion, an upper surface, and a lower surface. The attachment member is mounted to the upper surface and is configured to connect the foot prosthesis to a lower limb prosthesis component. A position of the attachment member is adjustable along a length of the at least one spring element. The heel member is mounted below the lower surface of the at least one spring element, and a position of the heel member is adjustable along the length of the at least one spring element.
LIGHT WEIGHT, MODULAR, POWERED, TRANSFEMORAL PROSTHESIS
In an embodiment, a prosthetic leg including a modular knee element coupled to a modular ankle element. The modular knee element includes a knee motor rotatable about an axis of a shaft in the knee motor. The modular ankle element includes a drive portion coupled to a surface-contacting portion via a pylon having a top and bottom end. The top end is coupled to the drive portion and the bottom end is coupled to the surface-contacting portion. The drive portion includes an ankle motor coupled to a rotary series elastic actuator (RSEA) and a first pulley coupled to the RSEA. The surface-contacting portion includes a hinge and a second pulley with a belt engaging at least a portion of at least one of the first and second pulley, and a modular foot element coupled to the bottom of the hinge.
ARTIFICIAL FOOT
The invention relates to a prosthetic foot comprising a base body having a front sole region, a heel body having a rear sole region, and a slot configured to receive at least one spring element, in particular at least one leaf spring, the spring element configured to be pushed or inserted into the slot. In a disposed state, the spring element engages in the base body and the heel body such that the heel body is spring mounted relative to the base body.
Prosthetic foot including a heel cap and interchangeable heel-side spring-damper
A prosthetic foot with a structural component having a proximal attachment member for fastening the prosthetic foot to a below-knee tube, a below-knee shaft or a prosthetic knee joint, with a forefoot portion secured or formed on the structural component, and with a heel-side spring-damper system which is assigned to the structural component and which is compressed at a heel strike and bears on a sole-side guide element. The structural component is designed as a leaf spring which extends in a posterior direction from the proximal attachment means, and forms an arch and is guided in an anterior and distal direction, wherein the arch protrudes posteriorly beyond the guide element.
Coupling for a prosthetic device
A prosthetic foot, including a keel having a longitudinal axis. The keel includes a keel body including a heel portion, a forefoot portion, and an ankle portion positioned between the heel portion and the forefoot portion. The ankle portion includes a housing having a vertically oriented central axis. In addition, the prosthetic foot includes a coupling assembly disposed within the housing of the ankle portion. The coupling assembly includes a bearing member disposed about the central axis, a support sleeve concentrically disposed about the bearing member, and an embedding member disposed about the support sleeve. The embedding member includes a plurality of interlocking rings.
PROSTHETIC FOOT
A prosthetic foot is provided with a forefoot spring, a heel spring and a base spring. The base spring is connected to the heel spring and to the forefoot spring. The base spring has receiving means for the forefoot spring and the heel spring, into which receiving means the heel spring and the forefoot spring can be inserted. The heel spring is connected to the forefoot spring via a coupling element, and the coupling element extends forwards along the forefoot spring at least via one portion thereof.
RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR PROSTHETIC FOOT SOLE AND PROSTHETIC FOOT SOLE
