Manicure and/or pedicure kits are shown and disclosed. In one embodiment, the manicure and/or pedicure kit includes a portable storage container having a base and a cover movably attached to the base. At least one of the base or cover is at least partially hollow to define an internal compartment. The manicure and/or pedicure kit additionally includes at least one adhesive sheet sized to be contained within the internal compartment. The manicure and/or pedicure kit further includes a plurality of nail tips attached to the at least one adhesive sheet in a spaced and sequential relationship corresponding to fingernails of a customer's hand or toenails of a customer's foot.

Proposed is a nail clipper configured to cut fingernails or toenails using the engagement of upper and lower blades. In a section opposite to the cutting blades, a portion of an upper elastic plate is stacked on a portion of a lower plate. In a position forward of the section, a concave portion is provided in a bottom surface of the upper elastic plate. When the cutting blade of the upper elastic plate and the cutting blade of the lower plate are brought into engagement with each other, the blade of the upper elastic plate is located inside of the blade of the lower plate. A stepped portion is provided in an inner portion of an inclined portion of the front end of each of the upper elastic plate and the lower plate. The cutting blades have a minute distance therebetween. The cutting performance and durability of the nail clipper are improved.

Proposed is a nail clipper configured to cut fingernails or toenails using the engagement of upper and lower blades. In a section opposite to the cutting blades, a portion of an upper elastic plate is stacked on a portion of a lower plate. In a position forward of the section, a concave portion is provided in a bottom surface of the upper elastic plate. When the cutting blade of the upper elastic plate and the cutting blade of the lower plate are brought into engagement with each other, the blade of the upper elastic plate is located inside of the blade of the lower plate. A stepped portion is provided in an inner portion of an inclined portion of the front end of each of the upper elastic plate and the lower plate. The cutting blades have a minute distance therebetween. The cutting performance and durability of the nail clipper are improved.

Disclosed is a clipped nail-catching and nail-capturing system consisting essentially of a nail clipper in combination with either a bag or an enclosure, either of which is preferably (although not necessarily) transparent, of special design for the hygienic and convenient catching, capturing and retaining of nails of humans and/or animals especially pets. The embodiments of the nail-catching and nail-capturing system are compatible with most presently available nail clippers and/or nail hygiene tools and nail-catching and nail-capturing bags and enclosures of various shapes and size.

The present disclosure is generally directed to trimming shears for cutting (or trimming) a claw of a domesticated animal. The trimming shears include a first handle, a second handle, and at least one blade. Pivotal movement of the first handle relative to the second handle urges the blade between a pre-cut position and a cut position. The transition from the pre-cut position to the cut position being configured to cut a claw positioned in the blade path. The trimming shears may further include a guide for receiving a respective claw and guiding the claw to be positioned within the blade path. In one example, the guide may include a single aperture, wherein an effective opening area of the aperture is adjustable to accommodate a respective claw. In another example, the guide may include a plurality of apertures, each sized for receiving a respective claw size.

The present disclosure is generally directed to trimming shears for cutting (or trimming) a claw of a domesticated animal. The trimming shears include a first handle, a second handle, and at least one blade. Pivotal movement of the first handle relative to the second handle urges the blade between a pre-cut position and a cut position. The transition from the pre-cut position to the cut position being configured to cut a claw positioned in the blade path. The trimming shears may further include a guide for receiving a respective claw and guiding the claw to be positioned within the blade path. In one example, the guide may include a single aperture, wherein an effective opening area of the aperture is adjustable to accommodate a respective claw. Devices, systems, and methods for nail clipping, for example, animal nail clipping, include a nail clipper including a body for grasping by a user's hand. The body may define a clip space as an opening for insertion of a subject's nail for clipping. The clipper can include at least one blade coupled with the body for movement between a withdraw position retracted from the clip space and a clip position extended into the clip space for clipping, and a clipping control system including a sensor system for detecting non-shell material of a subject's nail within the clip space.
