SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FILTERING SENSOR SIGNAL INTERFERENCE DERIVING FROM POWERED COMPONENTS OF A HEADER
In one aspect, a system for filtering signal interference from sensors signals includes a header comprising a frame and a powered component supported relative to the frame, and a sensor configured to detect electromagnetic waves indicative of a parameter associated with the header. In addition, the system includes an electronic control unit operably connected to the sensor such that the electronic control unit is configured to receive signals from the sensor associated with the detection of the electromagnetic waves. The electronic control unit is further configured to filter interference from the signals deriving from motion of the powered component relative to the sensor.

REEL FINGER
A reel for use in an agricultural header has an axis of rotation and comprises a bat and a finger. The bat is mounted to rotate around the axis of rotation to gather crop, and has a non-circular cross-sectional profile. The finger is mounted to the bat to rotate with the bat around the axis of rotation to gather crop. The finger comprises a tine and a clamshell mount to which the tine is coupled and that surrounds the bat to mount the finger to the bat against rotation about the bat.

Straw buncher
An apparatus for automating the process of bunching straw in a farming operation is disclosed. The straw buncher is a towable implement that includes one or more rakes mounted on a rotatable axle. The rakes gather straw. Rotation of the rake assembly is prevented by a stop mechanism that holds a rake in position using a resistive force until sufficient straw has gathered in front of the rake and the drag created by the straw overcomes the resistive force. At this point the rake begins to rotate, a cam on the rake assembly engages a drive system that turns the rake assembly until the next rake is in position. The implement works automatically and does not require monitoring by an operator to have straw bunches of a desired size be formed.

Harvester head reel rephasing
A rephasing system may include a first hydraulic cylinder, a second hydraulic cylinder, a first rephasing valve, a second rephasing valve and a controller. The first hydraulic cylinder and the second hydraulic cylinder include first and second pistons, respectively. A first hydraulic fluid line connects a hydraulic supply to a first side of the first piston while a second hydraulic fluid line connects a second side of the first piston to a first side of the second piston. The first rephasing valve fluidly couples the first side of the first piston to the first side of the second piston while the second hydraulic fluid line fluidly couples the second side of the second piston to the hydraulic supply. The controller selectively opens and closes the first and second rephasing valves to re-phase the first and second pistons.

Telescopic reel
A telescopic reel for an agricultural machine includes at least one side module being telescopic relative to a central module for causing the reel to switch from a retracted position to an extended position. A second crosspiece of the side module is adapted to enter into a cavity of a first crosspiece of the central module when the reel is in the retracted position, and is adapted to be extended when the reel is in the extended position. The first crosspiece and the second crosspiece are provided with a crop lifting system. The lifting system includes a connection for connecting lifts to at least one intersection element of the reel so that the lifts can slide along the second crosspiece of the side module. The lifts are brought close to each other when the reel is in the retracted position and the lifts are positioned relative to each other and to the at least one intersection element, at a distance substantially matching that of connection, when the reel is in the extended position.
