Provided are a connecting module and a motion assistance apparatus including the same, the connecting module including a case provided to incline downward from a space recessed between a waist and a hip of a user to a hip joint of the user, a power transmitting assembly disposed in an internal portion of the case, and a supporting module connecting portion disposed at an output terminal of the power transmitting assembly and to be fastened with a supporting module that supports a leg of the user.
Knuggle
For many side sleepers, a common hindrance to getting a good night's rest has been the position of one's knees during repose. It's outright uncomfortable to have one's knee caps resting atop each other, and so one leg must be slightly in front of or behind the other to avoid this discomfort. A common solution involves sleeping with a pillow between one's legs, but pillows are often too bulky and the material lacks the ability to breathe, resulting in uncomfortable temperature changes, and they never seem to stay in place! Introducing the Knuggle, a wearable brace for one's knee that provides cushioned support for the inner-thigh and knee area. The Knuggle is easy to remove, stays in place, and provides the perfect amount of support for one's sleeping preference, and with custom designs one can personalize their nightwear to match their own unique style.
KNEE BRACE DEVICE, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A knee brace assembly comprising a sleeve and a buttress attached to the sleeve and configured to be positioned against a knee of the wearer. The buttress is configured to be positioned proximate a patella of the wearer and configured to provide support to the patella of the wearer. The knee brace includes a wrap having a first end defining an upper tab and lower tab, and a second end defining an upper and lower tab. The wrap is sized to extend around the leg of the wearer. The upper tab of the first end is configured to attach to the upper tab of the second end, and the lower tab of the first end is configured to attach to the lower tab of the second end, such that the wrap is operable to form a compressive fit around the sleeve and buttress.
ORTHOPEDIC DEVICE
An orthopedic device comprises a main body defining an outer surface and a cuff extending from an end portion of the main body with frictional material disposed on an inner surface of the first cuff. A hinge is connected to the main body and terminates along the main body short of the cuff. The cuff is arranged to fold over the outer surface of the main body in a disengaged configuration, such that the outer surface of the first cuff is adjacently against the outer surface of the main body.
ORTHOPEDIC DEVICE

A hinge is connected to the main body and terminates along the main body short of the cuff. The cuff is arranged to fold over the outer surface of the main body in a disengaged configuration, such that the outer surface of the first cuff is adjacently against the outer surface of the main body.
PROTECTIVE SLEEVE AND TREATMENT METHOD THEREOF
A protective sleeve for treating injury to a wearer's elbow joint comprises a central pad; a protective opening one wearer's medial elbow region, a cap attached on the exterior side of the central pad; a relatively thin sheet; a cylindrical sleeve formed by the relatively thin sheet and the central pad; a first compression strip attached on the interior side within the upper portion of the central pad; a second compression strip attached on the interior side within the lower portion of the central pad; and a fastening means for securing the protective sleeve on the wearer's arm; and a treatment method thereof.
Methods and devices for providing automatic closure of prosthetics and orthotics
According to an embodiment, a lacing system for opening and closing an article includes a tensioning device having a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation, a first tension member that is coupled with the tensioning device and tensionable thereby, and a second tension member that is coupled with the tensioning device and tensionable thereby. The tensioning device is configured to: effect tensioning of the first tension member to close and tighten the article upon operation of the tensioning device in the first mode of operation and effect tensioning of the second tension member to loosen and open the article upon operation of the tensioning device in the second mode of operation.
FUNCTIONAL KNIT ORTHOPEDIC DEVICE
An orthopedic device includes a textile panel having interior and exterior surfaces, and a first stabilizer assembly including a first tubular welt sewn or knitted within and extending from an exterior surface of the textile panel. A first cable is slidably extending through the tubular welt and a strap is connected to a first end of the cable extending from a first opening of the welt, and the strap is adjustably securable over the textile panel. The orthopedic device may include various portions of stretchability and features for receiving components for the orthopedic device.
Multi-piece joint guard
A protective patella guard adapted for use with a knee brace having upper and lower frame members. The protective patella guard including an upper cup element coupled to the upper frame member, a lower cup element coupled to the lower frame member, and an intermediate cup element operatively coupled to the upper cup element and lower cup element. The patella guard is transitional between a first configuration and a second configuration, wherein a degree of overlap between the upper cup element, the lower cup element, and the intermediate cup element decreases as the patella guard transitions from the first configuration to the second configuration.
Knee support
Provided is a knee support capable of correcting/alleviating an inner rotation or outer rotation of a knee joint. A knee support comprising a support main body for covering a knee joint, and a strap to be wound around and attached on an outer surface of the support main body helically while being pulled in the direction opposite to an inner rotation direction of the joint, wherein a projection to be contacted with an inner side of a shinbone below the knee when wearing is provided on the inner surface of the support main body or the inner surface of the strap.
