Configurable absorbent articles having improved bodily exudate visualization
Configurable absorbent articles with improved bodily exudate visualization when viewing a wearer-facing surface are provided. The absorbent articles include a liquid permeable topsheet forming a portion of a wearer-facing surface of the absorbent article, a liquid permeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid permeable backsheet. The wearer-facing surface exhibits a Delta C* of greater than about 24 and less than about 50 when the absorbent article is subjected to a Bodily Exudate Visualization Test.
Extra-protection pads and related methods
Extra-protection fins and pads, and methods of making and using extra-protection fins and pads are disclosed. The extra-protection fins and pads of the present invention comprise a first triangular face, a second triangular face attached and/or connected to the first triangular face at an angle thereby forming a front apex and a top apex, wherein the fins are configured such that the front apex catches and/or absorbs the menstrual and/or other vaginal fluids first, and the extra-protection fin fills backwards toward the top apex, thus preventing unwanted, embarrassing and annoying leakage onto clothing or bedding during periods of heavy flow and/or when lying down. The extra-protection fin may also comprise a third triangular face attached and/or connected to the first and second triangular faces, wherein a vertex of the third triangular face contacts and/or is connected to the first and second triangular faces at the top apex.
INCONTINENCE PAD WITH VARYING THICKNESS PROFILE
The incontinence pad comprises a fluid permeable topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core being located between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core comprises a first core layer and a fluid control layer. The first core layer comprises 100 gsm superabsorbent material or more. The absorbent core has a varying thickness profile as seen in the longitudinal direction (L), with a first thickness (T1) in the intermediate portion and a second thickness (T2) in the rear portion. The first thickness (T1) in the intermediate portion is from 9 mm or more and the second thickness (T2) is 4 mm or less, as measured under a load of load of 0.5 kPa. The region which has the second thickness (T2) extends 30 mm or more in the longitudinal direction (L) from the core rear edge and toward the core front edge.
DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING A CORE WITH MULTIPLE LAMINATES
Disposable absorbent articles suitable for providing leakage protection for users that experience relatively small to relatively large discharges of fluids are described. The article includes a primary topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent system disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent system includes a first absorbent core and a second absorbent core, and wherein the primary topsheet and at least the first absorbent core include a plurality of recessed areas.
ABSORBENT PAD WITH FIRST AND SECOND PRINTING PATTERN
An absorbent pad including a fluid permeable topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core. The absorbent core has a front portion, a rear portion and an intermediate portion, the front portion, the rear portion and the intermediate portion being of equal lengths, the absorbent core having a width varying no more than 20 mm along its length, wherein the topsheet in a printed central absorption zone, arranged over the front portion, the rear portion and the intermediate portion of the absorbent core, is provided with a first printed pattern including first print elements and the topsheet in a peripheral security zone arranged at least over the rear portion of the absorbent core, is provided with a second printed pattern including second print elements, wherein a degree of coverage of the second printed pattern is at least 30% greater than a degree of coverage of the first printed pattern.
Absorbent article having a printed region
Asymmetrical absorbent articles having printed regions to facilitate individual placement of the absorbent article are described.
HYGIENIC PAD
The sanitary pad of the present invention includes: (i) a lower cover layer 10 including a straight type body 11 and wing parts 12; (ii) an absorbent pad layer 20 whose both sides are separated from the lower cover layer 10 and only central portion is adhered to the lower cover layer 10, wherein a distal end portion thereof is divided into two hemispherical protrusions 21 and 22; (iii) an upper cover layer 30 laminated on the absorbent pad layer 20; and (iv) side cover layers 40 whose both ends extend from upper edges on both sides of the upper cover layer 30 to both upper end portions of the cover layer 10 in the lateral direction thereof, and middle portions are inserted into a gap formed between the lower cover layer 10 and the separated both side portions of the absorbent pad layer 20.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
Asymmetrical absorbent articles having printed regions to facilitate individual placement of the absorbent article are described.
SANITARY PAD WITH FOLD OUT ABRASION PROTECTION
The current invention in some embodiments thereof relates to a sanitary pad which has a flat configuration for easy storage and transport and folds to form a 3D shape including a bulge for dividing between skin in a sensitive area. In some embodiments, in the bulge may be perpendicular to a flat portion of the pad. Optionally, the fin may have a triangular shape. For example, a menstrual pad may include an anterior flat area configured to lie against the vagina and/or absorb menstrual fluids and a posterior bulge configured to fit into an intergluteal cleft. For example, the bulge may have the form of a triangular fin. Optionally, the pad is reformed from the flat configuration to its 3D configuration by folding a posterior portion of the pad.
TWO PIECE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An outer cover includes a first lateral end, a second lateral end, and a length Lc extending in a longitudinal direction between the first and second lateral ends; and a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The outer cover also includes an opening. The opening has a maximum longitudinal length, Lo, that is at least 50% of the length of the outer cover, Lc; and the opening is adapted to receive an absorbent insert.
