The application relates to an absorbent disposable incontinence diaper (2, 2a) of the open type having an at least three-part diaper cover (3) with an inner side (30) and an outer side (31), the diaper cover comprising a main part (4) and at least two separate rear side parts (16). The main part (4) has a front region (6), a rear region (8) and a crotch region (12), which lies therebetween in the longitudinal direction (21) and comes to lie between the legs of a user. The rear side parts (16) are arranged on both sides of the rear region (8) of the main part (4) in such a manner that said rear side parts (16) are fixed in first overlap regions (40) with the outer side thereof on the inner side of the main part (4) along rear, lateral longitudinal edges (20). The rear side parts (16) extend in the transverse direction (22) over the rear lateral longitudinal edges (20) of the main part (4) and have closure means (10). The main part (4) and the rear side parts (16) comprise a nonwoven material or are made therefrom. The diaper cover (3) extends continuously over a length L1 from a front end (33) of the diaper cover (3) via the crotch region (12) to a rear end (34) of the diaper cover (3). An absorption insert (5) having an inner side and an outer side is arranged on the inner side (30) of the diaper cover (3), the absorption insert (5) comprising a liquid-impermeable back sheet (62) and a top sheet (64), between which an absorption body (7) is arranged. The absorption insert (5) extends into the first overlap regions (40) and is fixed there at least in some sections with the outer side thereof on the diaper cover (3). The absorption insert (5) has a length L2, where L2<L1.

DISPOSABLE INCONTINENCE DIAPER

The invention relates to a disposable incontinence diaper (2), with a main part (4) comprising a front region (12), a rear region (16) with rear lateral longitudinal edges (18), and rear side portions (22) attached on both sides to the rear region (16), whereas no side portions (22) are attached to the front region (14), and instead front lateral longitudinal edges (14) of the main part (4) form a free-ending longitudinal edge of the diaper, wherein the rear side portions (22) can each be placed in a circumferential direction around the body of a user, in order to apply and close the disposable incontinence diaper (2) on the user, and can be brought into an overlapping arrangement with an outer face of the front region (12) at which they can then be affixed releasably via the respective closure means (28), wherein the rear side portions (22) have an extent Q in the transverse direction (10) in the state when spread out flat but not stretched, wherein the rear side portions (22) are elastically extensible within this extent Q in the transverse direction (10) and for this purpose have an elastic or elasticated region (42) extended in the transverse direction (10) and in the longitudinal direction (8), wherein this extent Q in the transverse direction (10) comprises a proximal portion (38), adjoining the rear lateral longitudinal edge (18), and a free-ending distal portion (40), and wherein the proximal portion (38), starting from the rear lateral longitudinal edge (18), extends in the transverse direction (10) by a length that is 65% of the extent Q of a rear side portion (22), characterized in that the respective elastic or elasticated region (42) of the rear side portions (22) is arranged completely within the proximal portion (38) and reaches the assigned rear lateral longitudinal edge (18) or is at a distance of at most 30 mm from the rear lateral longitudinal edge (18) in the transverse direction (10), and in that the respective rear side portions (22) are substantially non-extensible in the entire distal portion (40).

INCONTINENCE DIAPER

The invention relates to an incontinence diaper (2) with a main part (4), which comprises a front region (12), a rear region (16) with rear lateral longitudinal edges (18), and a crotch region (20) arranged between the front region and the rear region, and with rear lateral sections (22) which are joined to the rear region (16) on both sides, whereas no lateral sections (22) are joined to the front region (14). In order to position and close the incontinence diaper (2), the 16 rear lateral sections (22) can be brought into overlapping arrangement with a front region (12) exterior, to which the lateral sections can then be removably adhered via respective closure means (28). The rear lateral sections (22) have an elastic or elasticized region (42), and the extension (Q) of the rear lateral sections (22) comprises a proximal half (38) which adjoins the rear longitudinal edge (18) and a freely ending distal half (40) in the transverse direction (10). The invention is characterized in that the respective elastic region (42) of each rear lateral section (22) is arranged completely within the proximal half (38) and extends to the paired rear longitudinal edge (18) or has a distance of maximally 30 mm from the rear longitudinal edge (18) in the transverse direction (10), and each rear lateral section (22) is substantially non-stretchable in the entire distal half (40).

The invention relates to an incontinence diaper (2) with a main part (4), which comprises a front region (12), a rear region (16), and a crotch region (20) arranged between the front region and the rear region, and with rear lateral sections (22) which are joined to the rear region (16) on both sides, which extend outwards in the transverse direction (10) of the incontinence diaper (2) over the rear lateral longitudinal edges (18) of the main part (4), and each of which has at least one closure means (28), whereas no lateral sections (22) are joined to the front region (14). Each of the rear lateral sections (22) can be placed around the body of the user in order to close the incontinence diaper (2) and can be brought into overlapping arrangement with a front region (12) exterior, to which the lateral sections can then be removably adhered via the respective closure means (28). The rear lateral sections (22) have an extension (Q) in the transverse direction (10) over the respective rear lateral longitudinal edge (18) and an elastic or elasticized region (42) which extends in the transverse direction (10) and in the longitudinal direction (8). The invention is characterized in that the rear lateral sections (22) are folded together about at least two lateral section folding axes (46, 48) running in the longitudinal direction (8) by the manufacturer, and folded together sub-regions (50, 52, 54) of the rear lateral sections (22) are defined and delimited by means of the lateral section folding axes (46, 48). An outer sub-region (54) in the transverse direction (10) is designed to be substantially unstretchable, and at least 50% of the surface of a sub-region (52) which adjoins the outer sub-region (54) inwards is unstretchable starting from the outer folding axis (48) running in the longitudinal direction.
