HYGIENIC ARTICLE WITH BACKSHEET ARRANGEMENT
A hygienic article including a topsheet, a backsheet having first and second end edges extending in a lateral direction of the article and first and second side edges extending in a longitudinal direction of the article, and first and second leg elastic members extending along the first and second side edges of the backsheet. The backsheet includes first and second leg elastic anchoring portions extending along the side edges of the backsheet, the first and second leg elastic anchoring portions including two layers of backsheet material, with the first and second leg elastic members being arranged between the two layers of backsheet material, the first and second leg elastic members terminating at a distance from the first end edge of the backsheet, first leg elastic free portions are arranged at the first end edge of the hygienic article.
Wearable article having elastic belt
A wearable article wherein least some of the elastic bodies may be arranged in at least 2 sets of a concentrated array defined as meeting: a) one concentrated array is formed by 2-4 elastic bodies; b) each elastic body within one concentrated array is disposed in an inner-interval between each elastic body of 2-4 mm; and c) one specific concentrated array disposed in an extra-interval between at least one neighboring elastic body outside the specific concentrated array of less than 8 mm. The entirety of the length of the belt side edge of the front belt may be seamed with a certain length of the belt side edge of the back belt to define a seam length LS. The front and back belts may each divided into 4 zones wherein at least 2 concentrated arrays are disposed on the front proximal tummy zone or the back distal tummy zone.
Methods and apparatuses for making elastomeric laminates with elastic strands provided with a spin finish
The present disclosure relates to methods for making elastomeric laminates that may be used as components of absorbent articles. The methods and apparatuses may be configured with a plurality of elastic strands wound onto a beam, wherein one or more elastic strands comprises a spin finish. During assembly of an elastomeric laminate, the beam is rotated to unwind the elastic strands from the beam. A portion of the spin finish may be removed from the advancing elastic strand with a spin finish removal apparatus. The spin finish removal apparatus may be configured to apply detergent to an advancing elastic strand and may also wipe and/or dry the advancing elastic strand. The treated stretched elastic strand may then be connected between a first substrate and a second substrate. In some configurations, adhesive may be applied to the treated the elastic strand, the first substrate, and/or the second substrate.
Absorbent articles having texture zones forming background patterns and macro patterns
An absorbent article comprises first and second substrates and one or more elastic elements disposed at least partially intermediate the substrates. The second substrate is attached to the first substrate and/or to portions of the elastic elements. The absorbent article comprises an adhesive having a first and second pattern of elements disposed on first substrate, and first and second texture zones. The first texture zone comprises a first portion of the substrates, a first portion of the elastic elements, and the first pattern of elements of the adhesive and forms a background pattern in the first portion of the substrates. The second texture zone comprises a second portion of the substrates, a second portion of the one or more elastic elements, and the second pattern of elements of the adhesive and forms a macro pattern in the second portion of the substrates.
Absorbent article with waist gasketing element and leg cuffs
A disposable absorbent article may include a chassis that includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a leg gasketing system and at least one waist gasketing element. The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff; the inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded laterally outward to form the inner cuff folded edge. The leg gasketing system may also include a leg gasketing system pocket with an opening on an inboard longitudinal edge of the pocket.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH A WAISTBAND AND LEG CUFFS HAVING GATHERS
A disposable absorbent article comprising a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region disposed between the first waist region and second waist region; a first waist edge and a second waist edge; and a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge; the disposable absorbent article comprising a waistband and a leg gasketing system, wherein the waistband has a first gather count and the leg gasketing system has a second gather count such that the ratio of the first gather count to the second gather count is from about 0.75 to about 1.25.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article is provided, which is resistant to deformation and can maintain the breathability even under the force applied by various body movements, such as load of sitting. An absorbent article of the present invention includes a liquid permeable top surface sheet, a liquid impermeable back surface sheet, and an absorber disposed between the top surface sheet and the back surface sheet. Grooves extend on the top surface sheet side, and in each of the grooves, a plurality of recess portions formed by integrally joining the top surface sheet and the absorber are arranged. Each of the recess portions has a sidewall and a bottom.
ABSORBENT CORE WITH PROFILED DISTRIBUTION OF ABSORBENT MATERIAL
An absorbent core for absorbent articles such as diapers. The core comprises a core wrap comprising a top side and a bottom side, an absorbent material between the top side and the bottom side, a first and second longitudinally-extending channel-forming areas disposed on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis and substantially free of absorbent material preferably through which the top side of the core wrap is attached to the bottom side of the core wrap. The core has a central absorbent zone between the first and the second channel-forming areas and a first and second lateral absorbent zones disposed laterally outwardly. The average basis weight of the absorbent material in the central absorbent zone is lower than the average basis weight of the absorbent material in the lateral absorbent zones.
ABSORBENT CORE WITH TRANSVERSAL FOLDING LINES
An absorbent core for absorbent articles such as diapers comprising a core wrap comprising a top side and a bottom side, an absorbent material between the top side and the bottom side of the core wrap, a first and second longitudinally-extending channel-forming areas substantially free of absorbent material preferably through which the top side of the core wrap is attached to the bottom side of the core wrap disposed on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis. The core has a central absorbent zone between the first and the second channel-forming areas and a first and second lateral absorbent zones disposed laterally outwardly. The absorbent core comprises at least one transversal folding line, preferably at least two transversal folding lines, in the region where the longitudinally-extending channel-forming areas are present.
