A fitting to a male genitalia has a male-genitalia-facing portion. Portions on both sides thereof in a width direction, in an outer member of a front body, have an elastic film stretchable structure in which an elastic film is stacked between a first sheet layer and a second sheet layer, which are bonded by sheet bonded portions arranged at intervals. A change region is included in which an area rate of the bonded portions decreases stepwise or continuously from a central portion of the male-genitalia-facing portion in a width direction to the portions of the both sides of the male-genitalia-facing portion in the width direction. A portion of the change region other than a portion having the highest area rate of the bonded portions, is contracted in the width direction due to contraction of the elastic film in a natural length state and is extensible in the width direction.

Array of gender-specific absorbent articles

An array of gender-specific disposable absorbent articles is provided. The array has a first disposable absorbent article adapted to be worn by males and a second disposable article adapted to be worn by females. Both articles have in their longitudinal direction, a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion between the front portion and the back portion. The first article has a first elastic component configured for providing fit and comfort to a male user. The second article has a second elastic component configured for providing fit and comfort to a female user. The first and the second elastic components each have a plurality of elastic elements extending at least partly along each respective article. The first and second elastic components differ from each other in at least the positioning or the elastic strength of the respective elastic elements. A method for manufacturing the array is also provided.

An array of disposable pant-type gender-specific absorbent articles adapted for female and male users is described. The array has a first subarray of absorbent articles including a first size absorbent article adapted for female users and a second size absorbent article adapted for female users. The second size is larger than the first size. The array also has a second subarray of absorbent articles including a third size absorbent article for male users and a fourth size absorbent article adapted for male users. The fourth size is larger than the third size. An array of packages of the array of disposable pant-type gender-specific absorbent articles is also described.

An absorbent article and enclosing pants and a method for wearing the combination thereof are provided. The absorbent article has a front lifting section and a rear lifting section that are provided with apertures to allow male and female parts of hook-and-loop fasteners of the enclosing pants to touch inside the apertures and to engage outside the apertures for preventing skidding. An isolating absorbent article may have an easy tear line opening for selectively tearing and tightly surrounding around a rear root portion of the scrotum to isolate the external sex organ and for installation or extension of a urine tube or a urine sack. The enclosing pants has the front pad and a rear pad having two lifting and looping sections and a central opening section, the central opening for fixing and correspond the easy tear line opening.

A side edge of the third elastic region overlaps in the longitudinal direction both a side edge of the first at least partly elastic region and part of a side edge of the second at least partly elastic region at the side seams.

A front end adjoining portion of the front end portion is not joined to the elastic region. An area in the absorbent chassis being adjacent the front end adjoining portion on the side of the crotch region is joined to an inelastic region defined on the side closer to the crotch region than to the elastic region. The absorbent body contained in the absorbent chassis extends at least from the crotch region to the front end adjoining portion. The front end portion in the front end portion of the absorbent chassis is defined by a portion of the cover sheet wrapping the absorbent body which extends outward beyond the absorbent body.
