An absorbent article and enclosing pants and a method for wearing the combination thereof are provided. The enclosing pants has the front pad and a rear pad having two lifting and looping sections and a central opening section, the central opening for fixing and correspond the easy tear line opening.

A leak-proof cuff (28) is divided into a lower region (40) and a upper region (41). A disposable absorbent article for wearing about the lower torso of a wearer is provided. The disposable absorbent article has a chassis including: a topsheet; a backsheet containing a polymeric film; and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The polymeric film is at least 20 mm more narrow than the chassis. The disposable absorbent article has an opacity strengthening patch disposed on the backsheet, wherein the opacity strengthening patch is connected to one of the group consisting of the leg gasketing system, the polymeric film layer, and the backsheet by an adhesive. The adhesive includes: an amorphous polyolefin composition and a heterophase polyolefin composition having an amorphous character and crystalline blocks. The adhesive is substantially tackifier-free.

Provided is a wearing article that can prevent the folding of a waist panel. In a disposable wearing article that includes a waist panel for forming first and second waist regions, a liquid absorbent structure that extends from a crotch region to the first and rear waist regions and includes a liquid absorbent core, a waist opening, and a pair of leg openings, and at least in the first waist region out of the first and second waist regions, the liquid absorbent structure includes an end portion that extends from the end edge of the liquid absorbent core to the side of the waist opening, and the outer end edge of the end portion extends to the edge of the waist opening.

The current invention concerns an absorbent hygiene article suitable to be worn around the waist of a wearer, such as a diaper, diaper pants or incontinence diaper, the article comprising a leakage barrier comprising a pair of leg cuffs arranged longitudinally on the body-facing side of the article from the front region to the back region across the crotch region, a first leg cuff of said pair of leg cuffs being arranged near a first leg hole defining edge of the article and a second leg cuff of said pair of leg cuffs being arranged near a second leg hole defining edge of the article and a front barrier and/or a back barrier, wherein the front barrier and/or the back barrier comprises a liquid-impermeable nonwoven sheet comprising a weight of at most 18 gsm and in that the elastic members of the leg cuffs do not overlap with the front barrier and/or the back barrier. The present invention also pertains to methods and apparatuses for manufacturing the article and the leakage barrier.

An absorbent article, a portion of which is configured to absorb fluids, has a chassis with a length greater than its width. The chassis length extends in a longitudinal direction from the back to the front of a user between first and second lateral edges and the width extends in a lateral direction substantially perpendicular to the length and between first and second longitudinal edges. Absorbent strips with a length greater than their width are arranged at outer edges of the chassis for added absorbency of the article.

An article including a front region, a back region, and a chassis. The chassis may include an absorbent core having a front end edge and a back end edge. The front region and the back region may extend laterally outward beyond side edges of the chassis. The front region and the back region may abut to form a first seam and a second seam. At least one of the front region and the back region may include an elastic member. A first outer nonwoven layer of the front region and a second outer nonwoven layer of the back region may be folded to form an upper edge in the front and back regions such that a distal end of each of the first and second outer nonwoven layer may be disposed between the upper edge and the front and back end edges of the absorbent core, respectively.

An absorbent article can include a chassis including an absorbent body. The chassis can include a body facing surface. The absorbent article can also include a waist containment member. The waist containment member can include a proximal portion coupled to the body facing surface of the chassis and a distal portion that includes a distal edge. The proximal portion includes proximal portion elastic members and the distal portion can include distal portion elastic members. The distal portion can be free to move with respect to the chassis when the absorbent article is in a relaxed configuration.

An absorbent article includes a base-structure and an elevatable structure known as a flat-back protection feature, that is capable of rising above the base-structure during article use. The flat-back protection feature utilizes either differences in material length compared with the length of the adjacent base-structure, or elastic materials, to maintain the feature elevation above the base-structure, while the article is in an extended condition. The flat-back protection feature extends into the intergluteal cleft of a wearer during use. Embossment features on the absorbent article are used to facilitate folding of the absorbent article, enhance the functionality of the protection feature, and/or improve the ease of manufacture.
