In accordance with aspects of the present disclosure, an apparatus includes a holder having a flexible sheet with a foldable portion that is foldable along an axis to form an upper portion and a lower portion of the flexible sheet, wherein the upper portion contains at least one magnet embedded therein and the lower portion contains at least one magnet embedded therein. The apparatus further includes at least one rigid container dimensioned to fit within the holder when the holder is folded, where the rigid container includes at least a first magnet with the first magnet located to engage the at least one magnet embedded in the lower portion of the holder and the at least one magnet embedded in the upper portion of the holder.

A container for loose powder, having a well defining a well volume, a side wall surrounding the well laterally to define an upwardly closed powder chamber extending circumferentially around the well, and a bottom member cooperating with the well and the side wall to close the lower ends of the well volume and the chamber. Embodiments disclosed herein include a device for personalizing fragrance. The device includes a first module comprising a first hemispherical cap, a first container, and a first attacher; a first fragrance formulation contained by the first container; and a second module comprising a second hemispherical cap, a second container, and a second attacher. Also included is a second fragrance formulation, which can be different from the first fragrance formulation, and contained by the second container. The device includes a ring-shaped adaptor comprising a first feature for attaching to the first module at the first attacher and a second feature for attaching to the second module at the second attacher. When the first and second modules are each attached to the adaptor and the caps are in a closed position, the first module opposes the second module and the device has a capsule shape.

Embodiments disclosed herein include a device for personalizing fragrance. A cosmetic container that converts unusable broken pressed powder into loose powder. The cosmetic container pulverizes broken pressed powder into loose powder via a screw press mechanism. In one specific implementation, the pulverized loose powder is held in a sealable sifter enclosure; the enclosure can be locked to prevent leakage during travel. In some variants, the portable cosmetic container may further include storage space for an applicator brush, make-up pad, or other assorted cosmetics.
