ELASTOMERIC LAMINATE WITH SOFT NONCRIMPED SPUNBOND FIBER WEBS
An absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions. The article also includes a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet; and an ear joined to the chassis. The ear includes a laminate formed from a first nonwoven and second nonwoven and an elastomeric material sandwiched between said first and second nonwovens. The laminate further includes a plurality of ultrasonic bonds; and the first nonwoven includes an exterior surface having an average TS750 value of 5 db V2 rms or less.
Nonwoven fabric and process for forming the same
The present invention relates to a nonwoven fabric comprising a plurality of polypropylene-containing fibers that form a nonwoven web, which fibers in addition contain a slip agent, the web has a side which is provided with an alternating pattern which consists of individualized bonded areas which bonded areas are in the form of rods which are arranged in the cross direction of the web, the alternating pattern of individualized bonded areas defines a non-bonded area, the web has a basis weight on the range of from 5-25 g/m.sup.2, the surface of the bonded areas is in the range of 5-20% of the total surface of the side, and the surface of the non-bonded area is in the range of 80-95% of the total surface of the side. The present invention further relates to a process for forming the nonwoven fabric.
Shaped Nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, wherein the intensive property is one or more of thickness, basis weight, or volumetric density, and wherein the first surface has a TS7 value different than a TS7 value of the second surface.
Absorbent article
An absorbent article (200) includes an absorbent body (23) provided at a front and rear direction range including a crotch portion (C2), and a topsheet (22) that covers a top side of the absorbent body (23), wherein a slit (40) with a predetermined width is formed in the absorbent body (23) at least at the crotch portion (C2) to extend in a front and rear direction, and wherein the topsheet (22) includes a fall-in portion (30) that is fallen in the slit (40) of the absorbent body (23), and convex portions (31) are provided at least at a part of the fall-in portion (30).
Absorbent article with an oil composition and an oil protecting layer
The present disclosure relates to a sanitary article such as a sanitary napkin, a panty liner, a diaper or an incontinence pad, including a liquid permeable topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a fibrous layer positioned between the topsheet and the absorbent core. The topsheet includes a coating having a) an oil composition and b) one or more surface active agent(s) including a non-ionic surfactant, wherein the weight ratio of the oil composition and the surface active agent(s) is at least 1:1, and wherein the oil composition is present in an amount of at least 0.3 g/m.sup.2 of the topsheet and wherein the fibrous layer is an oil protecting layer consisting essentially of non-absorbent fibers.
The laminate further includes a plurality of ultrasonic bonds; and the first nonwoven includes an exterior surface having an average TS750 value of 5 db V2rms or less.
Shaped nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, wherein the intensive property is one or more of thickness, basis weight, or volumetric density, and wherein the first surface has a TS7 value of less than about 15 dB V2 rms.
Apertured polymeric film webs and absorbent articles using such webs
Methods for making an apertured composite web are disclosed. These webs may be utilized as a topsheet in an absorbent article and can provide fluid handling and softness benefits.
Perforated non-woven fabric and production method thereof
Provided are a perforated non-woven fabric and a production method thereof. The perforated non-woven fabric is formed by overlapping three-dimensional funnel-shaped openings of two perforated non-woven fabric layers. The first perforated non-woven fabric layer has a protruding portion and a recessed portion. The protruding portion has an internal space. An upper side of the second perforated non-woven fabric layer is adhered to a lower side of the recessed portion of the first perforated non-woven fabric layer. The overlapped three-dimensional funnel-shaped openings pass through the first perforated non-woven fabric layer and the second perforated non-woven fabric layer. An air flow passage is formed between continuous internal spaces of the protruding portions of the first perforated non-woven fabric layer and the second perforated non-woven fabric layer, thereby facilitating penetration of liquid and soft feces, reducing residues, enabling internal and external air flow circulation, and reducing discomfort from wetness.
ZONED TOPSHEET
A disposable absorbent article is disclosed. A topsheet forms a portion of the wearer-facing surface, wherein the topsheet is a film and a nonwoven. The topsheet further includes a pair of edge regions and a central region disposed inboard of the pair of edge regions. The central region has a first plurality of apertures, and the edge regions have a second plurality of apertures, wherein the second plurality of apertures are smaller than the first plurality of apertures. The disposable absorbent article also includes a backsheet forming a portion of the garment-facing surface and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet.
