Nonwoven webs/nonwoven laminates for use in absorbent articles are disclosed. The nonwoven webs/nonwoven laminates are useful in leg cuffs of absorbent articles.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING WAIST GASKETING ELEMENT

An absorbent article for wearing about the lower torso of a wearer includes a first waist region having a first waist edge, a second waist region having a second waist edge, and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions. The article further includes a first longitudinal edge, a second longitudinal edge, and a chassis comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet. A waist gasketing element is disposed in one of the first or the second waist regions and joined to the chassis in a chassis attachment region. The waist gasketing element comprises an outboard lateral edge and an inboard lateral edge. The chassis attachment region comprises a first zone proximate to the outboard lateral edge and a second zone disposed longitudinally inboard of the first zone. Each of the first and the second zones comprise one or more chassis attachment bonds. The first zone comprises a first total basis weight and the second zone comprises a second total basis weight, wherein the second total basis weight is greater than the first total basis weight.

ARRAY OF DISPOSABLE PANT ARTICLES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ARRAY OF DISPOSABLE PANT ARTICLES

An array includes at least one first disposable pant article and at least one second disposable pant article. The first article has a first structure, and at least the outside surface and a surrounding zone of the absorbent core have substantially the same first colour. The second article has a second structure, and at least the outside surface and a surrounding zone of the absorbent core have substantially the same second colour. Each of the first and second articles includes an information tag arranged on the inside of the waist portion, the material of the information tag being in a third colour which is different from the first and second colours by a colour difference ΔE*ab more than 20. The first structure is structurally different from the second structure and/or the first colour is different from the second colour by a colour difference ΔE*ab more than 10.

ABSORBENT PAD WITH ELASTIC ELEMENTS

An absorbent pad having first and second longitudinal pad side edge. The absorbent pad includes a fluid permeable topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core. The absorbent core has first and second longitudinal side edges. The absorbent core in its longitudinal direction has a front portion, a rear portion and an intermediate portion located between the front portion and the rear portion, the front portion, the rear portion and the intermediate portion being of equal lengths. An elastic element is disposed between the fluid permeable topsheet and the backsheet outside of the respective longitudinal core side edges. A width of the absorbent core in the front portion and the intermediate portion varies no more than 25 mm along a length of the absorbent core. The respective elastic elements each extends along at least a part of the front portion and over at least 30% of the intermediate portion.

Crimped Fiber Spunbond Nonwoven Webs/Laminate

A hydroentangled patterned apertured web comprises a plurality of land areas in the patterned apertured web, and a plurality of apertures defined in the patterned apertured web. At least some land areas of the plurality of land areas surround at least some apertures of the plurality of apertures. The plurality of apertures comprises a first set of apertures defining a heart shape and a second set of apertures defining a diamond shape. The heart shape is positioned within the diamond shape. The diamond shape encloses the heart shape. At least one land area of the plurality of land areas separates the heart shape from the diamond shape. The patterned apertured web comprises spunbond fibers.

Configurable absorbent articles

Configurable absorbent articles are provided. The absorbent articles may comprise a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent articles may comprise a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region extending intermediate the first waist region and the second waist region, and an outer cover material joined to the backsheet and forming a portion of a garment-facing surface of the absorbent article. The absorbent articles may comprise a pair of leg cuffs and a fully removable fastening member. The fastening member may comprise a first fastener on a first surface of the fastening member and positioned proximate to a first end and a second fastener on the first surface and positioned proximate to a second end. The absorbent articles may also comprise a wetness guard.

Absorbent sheet for pets

An absorbent sheet for pets includes: a top sheet disposed on a top side of the absorbent sheet; a back sheet disposed on a back side of the absorbent sheet; and an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, the absorbent body including: top recessed portions, each recessed toward the back side from the top side and comprising a top bottom portion; and back recessed portions, each recessed toward the top side from the back side and comprising a back bottom portion. At least some of the top bottom portions are located either: at the same position as some of the back bottom portions in a thickness direction, or closer to the back side than the back bottom portions in the thickness direction.

ABSORBENT PAD WITH FIRST AND SECOND PRINTING PATTERN

An absorbent pad including a fluid permeable topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core. The absorbent core has a front portion, a rear portion and an intermediate portion, the front portion, the rear portion and the intermediate portion being of equal lengths, the absorbent core having a width varying no more than 20 mm along its length, wherein the topsheet in a printed central absorption zone, arranged over the front portion, the rear portion and the intermediate portion of the absorbent core, is provided with a first printed pattern including first print elements and the topsheet in a peripheral security zone arranged at least over the rear portion of the absorbent core, is provided with a second printed pattern including second print elements, wherein a degree of coverage of the second printed pattern is at least 30% greater than a degree of coverage of the first printed pattern.

Garment-facing laminates and methods for making the same

An absorbent article including a liquid permeable topsheet on a wearer-facing side of the absorbent article and a garment-facing laminate on a garment-facing side of the absorbent article is disclosed. The garment-facing laminate includes a backsheet film and a nonwoven layer joined to the backsheet film. The nonwoven layer defines a plurality of apertures. At least 3 of the plurality of apertures in a repeat unit have a different Effective Aperture Area, according to the Aperture Test herein, a different shape, and a different Absolute Feret Angle, according to the Aperture Test herein. The absorbent article includes an absorbent core disposed at least partially intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the garment-facing laminate.
